My left thumb has been bothering me for a few days now and it started to get worst recently so I looked it up and it sounds like I might have a sprained thumb. So this means I'll be spending less time on the site until it heals. I'm fine with typing a little each day but if I'm typing too much then it puts strain and pain on my thumb.

I'll still be adding Playstation games to the site each day since I can do that with just my right hand and mouse but I'm definitely not going to be coding for a while and probably wont be streaming with djinn for a while either. If I can find a way to type without pain then I'll set aside time this week to go through my notifications or I might just take a bunch of pain relief and fight through the pain (I've got 2000+ Notifications, I had originally planned to go through them this week).

Thanks for the heads up David, take as much time as you need until it heals, and don't force yourself to post unless its absolutely necessary. Remember not to push yourself too much so you don't prolong the time it takes to recover alright? Hopefully it doesn't too long to fully heal. If all goes well, it shouldn't take too long for you to be back to normal. Glad you let us know about this, take it easy and do your best not to strain yourself too much. Take care.

I never use my thumb when typing. I also uses to have a lot of problems with my thumb but that was way back many years ago, so it took a few months to adjust to not using it when I am typing.

Razor-987 : Yeah I'll do whatever I can to get it to heal as quickly as possible. Halo Master Chief Collection comes out in a few weeks and I planned to invest many hours into that, I'd be very sad if my thumb was still sore when that came out. It sucks not being able to play games.

Then the joint between your thumb and index finger must have gotten sore, then the base of your thumb could have became stiff. Its a bad habit, but I always crack my thumb knuckles because it lossens up that muscle.

I recently broke my left thumb (last week) and the first couple of days was torture.  I wrapped it up in a splint using ace bandage and a popsicle stick and that really helped it out.  I don't use my left thumb for typing but just keeping it from moving while I typed helped tremendously.  Also if it gets worse instead of better, it might be doctor time.  And make sure your in bed my 10:00 pm jk.
