After seeing the NBA thread, I found myself thinking, has anyone on Vizzed met a player or former player of the National Football League before? I remember meeting a former Packer Kabeer Gbaja Biamila (yes, that is his real name) in a Green Bay state fair before, and he was signing autographs. I am happy to say that I got to meet him and get his autograph. It was really cool.

Anyway, I said in the NBA thread that I met Atlanta Falcons WRs Roddy White and Julio Jones. I went to the first day of Falcons training camp today, and I also got to meet QB Matt Ryan, HC Mike Smith, and newly acquired OL Jake Matthews. I didn't actually get to shake any of their hands (like I did with Roddy and Julio), but I did get Matt and Jake's autograph. I try and go to the first day of training camp every year. I made it this year, and I'm glad I went. I can't wait for the season to start!

I have been to a Pro Bowl, but other than asking 2 guys for autographs, not really, no.

As a matter of fact, I have. When I was 16, I met one of the Oakland Raiders. Still have his autograph too. His name is Gregory Westbrook. I don't know if he's still even playing for that team but it was a good experience.

I have as well. I don't remember his name, but if I remember correctly, he was a lineman for the New England Patriots. I saw him at the barber shop I go to (I saw him three times actually).

I played against someone who is in the NFL now.  His name is Peyton Hillis, he was actually on the cover of Madden several years ago.  Played college football at Arkansas, and played for Conway high school, which my school, Van Buren, played that year.  He ran for some 250+ yards and at least 4 td's, lol.  It was a slaughter, he was a dang good running back.

I haven't ever met anyone famous but it'd be cool to meet someone from the Green Bay Packers.

Davideo7 : It's awesome to have you reply to one of my posts too, lol!  I actually found a news article on our game vs Conway, and the total damage was 305 yards and 6 touchdowns.He only ran the ball 14 times, for a whopping 21 yards per carry. Which sounds about right, he was always off for the races that game. Link to article below. I remember Conway didn't even win state that year, it was little rock central.I don't think Central had anybody who plays in the NFL now, but they had some Division 1 signees on their defense.

Nope, I don't follow Football as much as I used to. My dad met a couple of NFL players here and there but me and him aren't always on good terms and if we are he is an alcoholic so I can't really ask him about a lot of this stuff. I used to watch a lot of collage football and NFL but every sense I got basic cable I really never can keep up to date or I'm busy doing something else. If I ever end up with a guy who likes to watch football you can better believe I will be on the couch sitting right by him. I wish I could meet a NFL player but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen any time soon

Davideo7 :  It was high school, and it was about the normal night for Hillis that season.  He was far more athletic that everyone else at the high school level.

jparks34 : I just read the Article you shared, and man... that must have been torture on you and your team the next practice. XD What I want to know is he did end up breaking either of the two records mentioned near the end of the Article... the Single Season Records for Touchdowns and Rushing yards. 

Also, I forgot about this one when I last posted in this thread. 
I was 7 years old, and flying for the first time. My Grandfather accompanied me on the flight from Tennessee to Seattle on a big jet that had 3 seats on each side, with 5 more seats for each row in the Middle. I remember coming back from the restroom about a third of the way through the flight, and mentioning to my Grandfather , " Grandpa... is that Brett Favre ? " My Grandpa leaned over me since I had the isle seat, and he got all big eyes. He told me " You know what? Yeah, I think that is. " When I asked him if I could go talk to him for a few minutes, he told me I could not because he looked like he was resting. The entire Green Bay Packers were asleep with about an hour and a half left on the flight when I had to go to the restroom again. 
So... I never actually met the Green Bay Packers or Brett Favre, but I saw them extremely up close.

I was arriving at a local Best Buy store a few years ago when Plaxico Burress passed by me on his way out while he was still with the Giants, for what it's worth. Also, not long after that my co-workers from my old store job say that Brandon Jacobs went there, I missed him by a day as it was my day off, bummer.

While Donovan McNabb still played for the Eagles, I got to meet him during the offseason. He was hanging with his daughters outside the Chandler mall.

I've never had the opportunity to meet an NFL player in real life. I would really love to meet my favorite Bengals player A.J. Green or Andy Dalton. I also wish I could meet some Hall of Famers as well.
