Do you know what this word really means? As we know we have to trust our family and friends. But do you feel at times that....when you have trusted someone for sometime,  that the person would do something to betray that trust? Trust can also turn into despair, and also can hurt anyone. Though people say deal with it. Its not as simple as that. trust....is not so easily given out....for me I feel its a bumpy ride in a way. It happen to everyone including me. Do you think this? When you have given so much trust to someone or to some people, do you feel that you should not trust them again, for after all what they have done to you? Trust can go either way for us in life. And how it can also take its toll on many people. Then people would regretting trusting that person in the first place. We all push on from this but from time to time it haunts us again. Though we fight it and due to the effect of our previous hurt of it. Trust in a way is a funny word as...you trust some unexpected people for better or for worse.....I have had my say, what are your feelings to this?

Eniitan : This is a slight misquote, but someone once said that trust is giving someone the power to hurt you deeply, and hoping they don't.

It's not easy to learn exactly when you should or shouldn't trust someone. That comes down to your personal judgement. I can say that you get better at it as time goes by. I've been hurt significantly by people I put my trust into, and made the mistake of trusting people to do their job and been hurt by the results when they don't.

Trust is kind of a two-way street, and to apply it effectively you need to know when you can trust people autonomously and when you need to work with them to make your trust worth the investment.

Eniitan :  For me, I should trust people that I know very well. But I don't trust random people. You're right that sometimes when you trust someone, that guy can betray you. So you should trust your family and BFFS. And never strangers of course lol

In the vast world we live in, no one can be trusted. I trusted my closest friends to keep my secrets... They're all traitors. Except two of them, DittoDude and GameBoy. My friends sometimes hurt me. I PM them my feelings about something, and they go blabbing out in chat and quoting it. Other times I'll catch them cheating on me talking bad about me/my buddies.

Remember, trust no one. Well, actually... Just be careful who you trust. I know that some of your closest friends cannot be trusted with more serious things (sorry, it's true).

Which is why I only share my more serious secrets with GameBoy.

Eniitan : Trust...that's one word that can never truly be described, just like how their can be nothing perfect in this world. You're correct sis, it can lead to despair but so can never trusting that person in the first place, this so called world "trust" it's something that we have to give others in order to survive in life, and when the chain of fate is broken by either one of you...it becomes like a pillar losing one of its footholds, if it goes down it becomes harder for the thing on top to stay in place in safety.


This word is like a poison and a cure, it can either be really great or a death wish, but we'll never know unless we all try. Do you give this person another try if they hurt you the last time? That depends on how severe it was and if you know that they'd do it again, it's as simple as that.

I agree with Faded, you should just be careful whom you trust...but don't feel that it's impossible to give it out.

Trust is the most important thing in this world and something that should never be broken. For me trust is more important then life itself If you can't trust anyone then you can't have a good relationship with anybody and that is just hard on yourself.

Imo. Trust like Loyalty is something a person has, you can never teach someone how to be trustworthy or loyalty. Also you can always trust an untrustworthy person to be untrustworthy (I'm sure that Jack Sparrow said something along this, but he is correct if you do some deep thinking into his "philosophy", or at least I agree with him).

I agree with Faded and sonic in that you should be careful of who to trust because while you can trust someone that they won't do harm to you, the other person might not hold a similar opinion.

I have tried time and time again to trust people. I have major trust issues, so I no longer trust anyone, even those who are closest to me, but this is all a result of being hurt by those I have put my trust into in the past. Maybe in the future I can learn to trust again, but right now I cannot say for certain. I will say this though: do not place your trust in just anyone. 

Personally I trust people more now-a-days than I used to when I was younger, or then I make it seem like I trust them. With new people I'm always careful and I never share important things with them, such that I would easily tell to my family. On the Internet I'm not that careful since it's very unlikely I would meet someone in here I'd also find in real life. I've often been called naive since to others it may seem like I trust every person that passes by, but it doesn't mean that one couldn't act friendly towards somebody without trusting them entirely. I think that trust is one of the most sacred things in human relationships and should it be broken, things could probably never be the same.

People have my trust right away. But, once they loose it, they have to work their butt off to get it back.

I kind of have trust issues. So its not easy to gain my trust. I only really trust family and best friends (on vizzed since i have no real life friends). But i think its better to leave your trust in people you really know well.

From my point of view, trust is something that one has to earn.

*Trust is when one can believe in another person by a certain action. Also, the communication and emotional bond has to be similar between 2 people.

I can trust people that I am close to 100%. In order to get my trust, I test people who I don't know really well and if they fail to get my trust, they will have to try something else in order to get it.

Quite sad reading these comments. I am fully with sillysoul. I can appear to trust everyone I meet. I have told a few secrets to my friends but I have never had anyone break my trust yet.
