Here in north-holland, we get out in July no matter what I believe, and we get out in August, not very long, I know.

It's not that bad, we get more vacations then people in the US they are just shorter, which I find  A LOT better then what they have there, but hey!

My school usually gets out for Summer sometime in the beginning to the middle of May. I like that, too, because it seems like we get out so early, when in reality, It's basically the same amount of time as everyone else.

This year I finish at the end of April. Essentially that leaves May, June, July, and most of August for summer break.

I totally expected my summer breaks to start shortening.

   The last few years, we have gone out for vacation either for a little bit either at the middle of May, but the standard vacation time would be late August, pretty much as close to the start of school as possible. That is mostly because it's the only general window of time where there aren't any sports going on with me or any siblings.

Since my college is private and they figured they could do whatever to it, they took out our spring break and any holidays regular highschoolers would stay home for. I can't complain however,  we get out before any other college in Chicago and there's no school on Fridays so its all worth it. May 5th is our final day of school.
