I switched over to Linux and since the Vizzed RGR Plugin is a a windows installer I can't use it on Linux. I was just wondering if there was any other way to install the plugin on Linux.

I'm using Elementary OS if that helps. It's similar to Ubuntu.

I believe that there is no way. My friend also had linux (changed to windows) And he wanted the RGR too BUT it did not work because of linux. BUT maybe there is a way.

New problem: I managed to get the plugin to install using the terminal and Wine program. Now the plugin is installed but when I try and play a game it says plugin isn't installed. Unlike on Windows it doesn't prompt me asking me for permission to use the plugin.

I don't know much about this, but I did find a few things that might be able to help.

1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlMC0V5FgxA - A youtube video that shows how to set it up using Wine. Maybe you're both making some sort of procedural error? It's always a possibility.

2) https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=51505 - A thread about setting up the plug-in on Linux. It seems to be using a different method.

tRIUNE : I had no clue as to why it wouldn't work. The plugin installed on my Windows partition but it wouldn't detect the plugin. I've switched to Windows 7 now and I never figured out what the issue was. It may have just been me.

from my experience, I've never got the rgr plugin to download on Linux, but I have windows now, so no worry. I'm sorry, but Linux, IMO, sucks.
