You're not supposed to beg for staff positions, and begging for trust points has always been grounds for getting dropped to negatives. I don't see why you'd think begging for Elite would be totally okay.

According to the faq's and questions page elite status is rewarded for those who have contributed alot to the site and have usually been staff. I hope this doesn't start things between us on the wrong foot but I've gotta ask...why have you posted so many plagiarized reviews from hardcoregaming101 and racketboy?" )it seems you were banned for plagiarism which is against site rules and is frowned upon here and everywhere for that matter, and quite frankly begging for a position is also technically against the rules according to the newbie quiz. Honestly due to these reasons I don't think in my opinion you deserve elite status,just judging by the rules set by David. Also I don't think begging other members to bug the mods to promote you to elite status is right either and judging solely off the user rank description page, according to that I find it odd that your a trusted member, and your not setting a good example for members (all the members I've come into contact with that are trusted don't act in this manner, they act very mature and respect others and quite frankly are respectable individuals and they encourage good behavior which this is not). It seems like your wanting people to promote you just because you feel that because your an older member your entitled to "special" treatment or in this case a position, if you want to earn the position just do tasks and such to help the site and be polite and set an example and discontinue doing what I see here.
