Heh. Looks like I might be in a team of a winner thanks to my birth month. Maybe I can help them out a bit more on that lead with some ranks.

Before I update today, I will address something.

I've been asked a couple of times why I don't update this earlier. So, I'll explain.

First off, I'm only site staff. I am not a global moderator or David. I do not have the ability to disqualify people in the TDV myself. As such, I have to wait until DQs are applied before I can update. Otherwise, I'd have to go back and do the update all over again, which would make the first time a waste of time. When I update, I make sure that I have the final official results for that day.

Second, I have a life. This also means I have my own unique sleep schedule. I sleep from 4 AMish to about noonish. Some days I will go to bed later, and wake up later. As such, I physically cannot update before noon. I have other things to do though, so sometimes it takes 2-3 hours, or in today's case, 6 hours to update after noon. As we speak I have dinner cooking, so I'm a little rushed.

August is within striking distance of the top 3. Today, they could find themselves on the podium if all goes well. It's pretty shocking to see August do so well, because none of the scorers for August are in the top 5 for the TDV. (January has zanderlex, July has Davideo7, February has Barathemos)

Of course, neither does May, but no one cares about May

I had seen earlier where the teams were being divided up this way... which I found interesting. This is the first time I've actually seen the results though.  I'm really kinda pleased with how more evenly spread the scores are. What do you think about it?

It was actually my idea to split teams up by birth month, David pretty much gave me creative control with this one.

I expected it to be closer than in competitions' past, but not this close, per se.

I'm rather pleased with the competition. If someone challenged zanderlex for the TDV lead (I think aside from him and Barathemos, no one is competing seriously) it might be even closer.

I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come, and that future competitions will take the lead this one has. I can't say I'll host another Team TDV myself (it's not that it's a lot of work, it's not, I just have other things I'd rather be doing) but it's been interesting to try it out.

legacyme3 : Yeah... its sad how one sided this Team competition. If I was completely serious about this one, it could be a little closer, but I really don't know. If there is not any competition, there is not much fun to it.

This will take a ton of points to get back from, but july really isn't doing too much, with a few outbursts every once and a while.

Barathemos : What are you even talking about? You mean the Tour de Vizzed? I don't care about it, I posted and happened to get a Jersey and now people won't shut up about it, bit excessive if you ask me.

Frodlex : To be fair, you did stir up a few people's emotions the night you got the jersey in chat. You kinda gotta expect responses from that.

I highly doubt that my team will be in the top three at the end of the month. I do not highly doubt that my team will be in the top five at the end of the month, though. The other teams that are in the top five have been getting a lot of points recently and my team has not.

Wow I have not even started posting yet and team January is already pwning everyone it seems. I am not sure when I will jump in and start helping. Maybe today maybe tomorrow maybe in a while.

Well at least I was able to get a good amount of points for team February yesterday. I am hoping that we can still stay in the competition and do well, I am definitely going to keep on posting and doing my best to ensure our success. Yesterday was great competition wise, I am going to see if I can try and repeat my spree again today. January is really killing it out there, and I am hoping we can try and close the gap. Today is a glorious day, for Davideo7 avoids DQ in the Green Jersey for two last minute posts that pushed him above 50%! Sparing him the humiliation of being DQ'd from his own competition, instead, February takes a major hit with the DQ of Barathemos for Green.

What this means is, that he can no longer score in that jersey, lowering the maximum amount of points he can get, and all but giving January the easy win.

August loses major positioning, and falls to 17 points back. It'll take a few strong days in a row for them to make it to the top 3.

2 things...

1) You should update the description saying Day 13 - If only August tried to compete...

2) The long time saying is definitely true...most spammers are born in January. (This is obviously a joke, but I know that if I don't post this, I will be attacked by some Jamuary users).

Where are all the May babies? We can push ourselves up onto that podium, right?  I mean, I do have an insanely busy schedule. I can't keep this up every day!
