Since both me and David is currently constructing the Official Minecraft Server for Vizzed, I'm going to go ahead and open up suggestions for the official server, so, if you have any ideas to have in the server, please feel free on posting your ideas, and note, they ain't a such thing as a "Stupid idea" just as long they are "E"/"PG" ideas though.

A gamehub maybe? I had it on my old server. If you're running bukkit then you can download multiple plugins for games like Survival games, Spleef or anything like that. It could be a fun alternative to building. You could maybe hold competitions for it as well.

I'll try two key suggestions.

1) Plots - Each user can claim one (or more based on their power-level/in-game currency)

2) In-game currency - I'm not sure where it's economy, but I think an eco server would be nice.

I totaly agree with in game currency, there could be shops and other economic sites.

cities/towns...... There should be a main city where shops and other services would be and then, maybe users can buy their own tow plots and they can layout the town and even have other live in that town for a fee or for free. Of course, mobs would be turned off in them.

I'd be highly interested in this. But the big question I have is what mods or mod packs would you be using (if any at all)? There's many good ones out there, particularly the ones put out by FTB. Many of the servers use a Direwolf20 pack, as it covers the majority of mods many people seem to like and enjoy using the most.

I don't think that there should be too many mods on the server, as some people prefer vanilla minecraft. That being said, Industrial Craft 2 would be cool to have, as well as Buildcraft. I think the server should be named, "Vizcraft" or something similar.

How about the Mo' Creatures mod if Dr. Zhark gives permission to use it on the server? The mobs can disabled last I checked so if you don't want to worry about literal trolls wrecking houses they cant. One of the few mods I use when I remember to update the mods on my client. The only other thing I could suggest other than that is the Biomes o Plenty mod, it adds like seventy other biomes or something. Had it back in 1.5.2 and I thought it added a little something to the game. I don't know of any resource pack that supports this mod though.

A friendlier economy in the main shops would be nice. To be specific have the base components that can be made into other things the least expensive and increase the cost by a decent margin for more complex objects so that side shops held by normal players can serve a purpose. (People would be more willing to buy from them and more people will be willing to sell.)

What about a town battle? Like, every month or so, the members of each town((Vizzed Ville, Iggy Land, Geeo's Island, etc.)) go to one big arena and duke it out for the honor of their town, and maybe some sort of prize based on A: Who gets the most points, B: Which town earns the most total points, or C: Which town was the last standing.

Then again, people have homes in different towns, so it may be difficult to keep track of who goes where.

You know how you have trusted members, vizzed elite, staff and such, what if mattering on your rank will matter what your name will look like on the server. Of course David or someone who can mark down what MC name coordinates to what vizzed username and they would have to update it some-what frequently since more people will be going on the server, Either that or a tag in front of their name.

iv noticed some things on the server id like to point out to the people that have the power to change things.
well first off if you get in a mine cart and log out you take the mine cart with you. To my current count there are 2 mine carts missing.. T_T
and second is that you can not create golems in genrody but you can in vizzed ville, another T_T


but besides that I'm really looking forward to the battle arenas.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
