If it was possible to live on another Planet... On which one do you like to live?

You can choose between a lot:

- Mercury.
- Venus.
- Earth. (Oh, we are living here already, don't choose this one! )
- Mars.
- Jupiter. (If you choose this one, I hope you won't be lost there..)
- Saturn. (Edit, I forgot to add it to the list!)
- Uranus.
- Neptune.
- Pluto. (The dwarf Planet!)
- Other dwarf Planets like Ceres and Eris.
- Other planets. (Great chance I never heard of them, but it's still interesting to know.)

The no-Planets but you can still choose them:

- The Sun. (There would it be hot I guess.)
- The Moon.

Please tell us why you choose the Planet you are interested to live. Other wise I think a lot people will post something like they only write the name of the Planet.. Tell everyone an interesting and fun story about what you think!

I do like to live on Mars. I think it's very fun to see everything on that Planet. I also think the temperature will be good. Just like a second Earth, I hope.

I would choose Saturn (Which you forgot to put in the list ). If I were there I'd stay up late at night watching a beautiful night sky with all 36 moons out. Well, when it's an acid cloudless night out anyway. Maybe I'd just hang around it's giant ring. I'd maybe take a tour around it.

TornadoMudkip : I'd live on Mars and do some research and see if they used to have or have water there!

That would be cold I guess.. But I could live in the mantle of Mars at least but I would still need a spacesuit because Mars has 2% of oxygen.

It is a battle between Jupiter and Pluto but I would choose Jupiter because it is big full of secrets (I guess) and it will make more profit from exploiting mineral rocks or such...

Pluto would be awesome for tjose who want to run across a planet for a record... but it would be cold.

The sun has been declared a planet?
I missed that memo.

You actually can go to live on another planet.well. the moon. Not actually a planet.
Theyre assessing the applicants.
Its a one way trip though.
Id imagine after the first 10 YEARS of living on a baron rock youd start to get a little bored...

I would like to live on Neptune. It sure would be lonely, forever alone, but hopefully maybe one other person would like to join? Who knows.

Anyway, Neptune has one of the fastest winds in the solar system, and I thought it would be just cool to fly around all over the planet, almost like make-shift flying. Hopefully I don't get utterly ripped apart and destroyed by the winds lol.

Well currently Jupiter is out because I can't stand on anything . It is just one big ball o gas . But if it were possible and it did have land then I'd live there so I could see the storm that is always present there . I want to expireince that first hand . Windsppeds and such .

I would choose those extrasolar planets like the Kepler 22b. Because this planet is located 600 light years away from the Earth and the cool thing is that this planet has the same type like our own planet but 2.4 times the radius of Earth. The astronomers said that this planet orbits within the habitable zone of a Sun-like star. It is also said that it has the same characteristics like the Earth, and it could be possible that living things like the Human Beings can live their.

I would choose Mars. I could spend ages there mapping it out and visiting the poles to see whether there is evidence of previous life. Most of the other planets are too hot or too cold, but Mars can be tolerable using the technology we already have.

FYI: The Sun and moon are not planets. Anyway, I'd probably die because there would be no water and oxygen. But if I can survive without water and oxygen, I'd choose Jupiter because its big and has many moons so I won't stop exploring. If I didn't freeze to death first, that is.

To be honest, I would not want to live on another planet. I comprehend the question this question is fantasized, but I still would not want to live on another planet. I mean, the conditions of all these remaining planets throughout the Solar System are different an in my opinion, I am unable to trust them. Come on, what is so bad about living on Earth? Our planet consists of a magnetic forcefield, so there would be a less likely chance we would be struck my a meteor and our position of this planet is correct, too! I mean, come on, perfect temperatures, not too close to the sun. What are the chances of that occurring to another planet within our Solar System? At the moment, none, because none of these other planets are nowhere near safe, so I would definitely remain living on our planet of Earth!

Living in a black hole might be interesting. Even if I die, I would like to know what is inside. Maybe another universe, another time, another space, or simply death by space and time bend.

I would have chosen Mercury...

But c'mon, I'd be set alight upon landing. Living on Mars would be nice, with a great view of Earth, the Sun, Jupiter, and the asteroid belt.

I would only want to live on another planet if it was able to sustain life. Nevertheless, I would love to see what life on mars and Saturn would be like. Mars because it is most similar to earth and I would love to see if any forms of life exist there, and Saturn because the winds reach up to 800+ Mph! Perfect for human life right? Not as bad as Neptune however where winds can exceed 2,000 mph. I am always fascinated by the fact that we make so many new planet discoveries each day, and I would be simply amazed if we were to ever find another planet like earth that could sustain life. This is a very interesting topic of discussion in my opinion.

That does sound pretty interesting, though I wouldn't really be able to decide which planet to pick. Maybe Mars.

I would like to live in Jupiter (assuming that it has a solid core behind all that gas looking cover if not make it the moons of jupiter and that we are in some kind of futuristic setting)  First, since one of Jupiter's largest moons Europa had been rumored to have water Geisers, humanity investigated further into it they sent a spacecraft proving that it's conditions are just like Earth's conditions (oxygen in the air atmostpheric pressure all that good stuff) This possible conditions are not the only reason why i would like to live in this moon. Soon after Europa is being settled people start to settle other Jupiter moons transporting all the facilities and equipment needed from to all other 63 known moons. Scientists have had the chance to study Jupiter up close now that they live closer and discover it does have a solid core, with the technology just right to settle humanity finally settles in Jupiter this caused by the settlement of humanity in Europa. Well hopefully you liked my litte story I would just love to live in Europa (the moon not the continent)

I would have to pick the moon. I would weigh a lot less on it and probably feel a lot healthier. Plus all the floating around would be pretty cool.

http://www.space.com/159-strangest-alien-planets.html

The planet you see is a planet they just discovered. If I'm right I also read something about it being twice as large as Earth, having a moon (as you can see on the picture) and I believe it has water but I'm not sure.
