October 2013 - MEGA Video Competition - Epic Deaths - Earn 75,000 Viz or $50

Record yourself dying in as many games as you can. Aim for a cool death because if any of your videos has a rating of 4.5 or higher when the competition ends, that submission is worth doubled. If your submission has a rating of 2 or lower when the competition ends, that submission will not count.
The death sequences should be at least 10 seconds long. Your recording should show at least 5 seconds before the death sequence takes place and at least 5 seconds after the death sequence takes place. So if the death sequence is 5 seconds long, your video should be at least 15 seconds long. MEGA Competition: This is going to be classified as a Mega competition because not only do 5 people get prizes but there's also cash prizes. RULES and INFO: -Only videos uploaded after 10/1/2013 count -You can submit as many videos as you'd like -If multiple people submit videos for the same game, only the person who took theirs first gets credit -Videos that have a rating of 4.5 or higher count as 2 submissions -Videos that have a rating of 2 or lower will not count -The death has to actually involve losing a life so racing games and sports games probably wont work -You can not edit your video in any way, it needs to be raw footage -Be sure to let me know in this thread which videos you've uploaded -Be sure to specify which game and system each submission is for -Videos should be at least 10 seconds each and no longer than 1 minute -Your videos must be uploaded to the vizzed youtube account -You must record your videos with the RGR Plugin -You must add your video to the game's page (which should happen automatically when you upload your video to the vizzed youtube account) -Staff is ineligible for the cash prizes but can still win 1st and 2nd and get the Viz prize -You can record video using GB/GBC/GBA games without using mednafen by pressing F8 -You can only use an external recording program (like Camtasia) for N64 and Sega CD games since they don't support video recording but the quality must be good and must still take a screenshot with the plugin of the death sequence as a way to verify the video was taken by you Prizes: 1st = US $50 or 75,000 Viz 2nd = US $25 or 37,500 Viz 3rd = 10,000 Viz 4th = 5,000 Viz 5th = 2,500 Viz Cash Prizes: The cash Prizes can be paid out in a few ways. What? A 4th competition this month? I just saw the other three competitions before this thread gets submitted and it was weird for me to see there wasn't a MEGA competition. I thought the video competition could Well, this competition looks funny, though for me looks a bit hard due users would rate the videos like they want the "edit death" would be complicated. I won't participate anyways due it looks kinda like a hard competition unlike the other video competition because the "epic death" looks to be ingenious and some games may be hard to do that and a few users should dare on rating videos low. Maybe, the next time. Also, looks like this competition will make satanos get out from the 1st place in the most videos ranking unless he participates too, because videos doesn't need to be very long unlike the another video competition, so users should submit a lot of short videos. This sounds really fun David. I am not good at many of the Retro Game Room games so dieing is my specialty!
Are we allowed to edit the videos, such as adding dramatic music and cropping it down so you do not have to watch too much of the actual game. Also can I use something like audacity to record live commentary so you can hear my rage (obviously with out swearing!!). EDIT: Can I just collaborate to make a montage of deaths.
