Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Biggest post in a day
Green Jersey: Most 30+ word posts in an hour

If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.

Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)

You'll be DQ'd if:
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in one of the following forums: Crazy House, Vizzed Market, Polls and Questions, Newbie Forum
-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-The number of posts you scored toward the Green Jersey is more than half of your total posts made for the day

New rule! If you get DQd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month.

New rule! Posts in the Newbie and Crazy House forums do not count toward the Green Jersey.

Checking some of the people's recent reviews, it's a shame that some people could not wait another few minutes to post them before midnight. I already mentioned that to someone that they could have gotten a good leg up at the start.

I was wondering if this was a TdV month or not.  I highly doubt I'll be able to participate, but man... can't tell you how much I'd love to.  I've got work caught up.... can I keep it caught up? Hmmm.... Let's see what the competition looks like first.

Yeah, with spending 12+ hours at work a day now.... highly, highly doubt I'll even make a mark here...

I am going to compete on weekends and after school, no questions asked. I hope to make about 35 posts after school, and 80 on weekends. 




But anyways, I wish anyone else that competes good luck in the future! You're not going to win! But good luck to anyone that participates.

Hmm I am thinking of entering. I enjoy making long posts and looking at the jerseys you compete for it looks good. I think I will go for the yellow jersey at least. If I want to go all out I should really go for the blue, however I had just finished the VCS and it was too much for me and rather boring since tgags123 was so far ahead of everyone. I guess today I have a head start since I have no school because my teachers are on strike. I will just take every Tour de Vizzed day as it comes and who knows I may succeed!

A suggestion: It'll be nice if David would add the VizJersey for the top of the most Jerseys of the current Tour.

Sorinkun : Good luck to you, I am in second for that so far and I think I will over take Azul Fria. We will just have to wait for the posting spree ravers like goodboy and tgags123 if they are going to try. I guess we better watch out! That is also why I am focusing on the yellow jersey, that is my top priority. 

Davideo7 : About the tabbing disqualification. Is it okay to have another Vizzed tab open if it is not a reply to post page. It is just I have been keeping open the Tour de Vizzed stat page and I keep reloading it when I post. Is the tabbing rule automated to seek suspicious users? or do you look yourself.

MechaMento : I am focused on the Blue Jersey and the Green Jersey. I hope to get in the Blue Jersey's top 5 because in the Green Jersey, I don't have any chance, but good luck!

Well guess I should compete again although it's not very likely since I have school now. Most likely I will compete on Friday's and the weekend in hope to get the Green or Rainbow jersey so that way I have one of every jersey on my Tour De Vizzed stats table. Anyways good luck to all competitors  and remember have fun with the Tiour De Vizzed and don't spam the rented forums thus creating more work for us rented forum mods xD lol. 

Well, I'm going to enter this one and try my absolute best and try much harder than I did in July.

I am definently entering, of all the promotions and contests that various websites hold, this one has to be one of the top. I shall support those who are competing with encouragement and words of wisdom, and I will try my very best and go all out in the hopes that I can at least get close to winning.

I am so excited for this competition! I might have a good chance at winning a jersey fairly this time! For now I am going to watch everyone else go crazy but on Saturday I will spree all day if my family doesn't have plans! So far the competition isn't too bad especially for a school day! This time I am going to be more careful. In the July TDV I was posting fast and making short posts but this time I will try to keep my posts at good quality, I will slow down my posting a bit, and I promise to not spam! I will definitely be competing in this one, whether I am busy with school or not, I will try my best to find the time and get some good posting done! I have intentions of winning this time, last TDV I let thing1 have it, but I really could've won if I wanted to. But this time I will post every opportunity I can get and I will do my best to win. I want to win pretty badly and I also want to get the rainbow jersey more than anything, so I am definitely inclined to post whenever I can find the time.
