I mostly remember members from their layout. But sometimes if their username is funny or clever I'll remember them. But if I remember anyone all depends on how much the user post, and how often I see their posts. I don't care to remember someone who doesn't post much.

I generally remember from the username. Everyone's got only one you know? Plus layouts and icons can be changed and if I went by them I would loose people too easily.

I usually rely on user pics and layouts to remember the user. This is why it sometimes throws me off when people change their profile picture or layout. Now I tend to remember the user by name when the person has a different username color or design than most other people (Davideo7 for example).

I usually remember someone based on their user picture the most. Sometimes I'll remember them based on their layout if they have a layout they've been using for a while but users usually change their layouts often so that's usually not the case.

I'm probably one of the few users where people remember me name, user picture and layout and this is why:
Username: Since I have a name that stands out the most and since I'm the owner and therefore everywhere
User Picture: I've been using the same user picture for a few years now (and the one before this I had been using for nearly 8 years)
Layout: Now this may not be the case so much any more since I've only had my current layout for about a year but my previous layout I had for 10+ years. I've been told on other boards that users only remembered because of that layout.

I usually remember people by their username. Some people have the same layout so I could end up mistaking someone for someone else. Unless it's someone like you, Genesis, I can remember you clearly by your layout. I see it all the time so I know who it is by just seeing your layout. Most of the time though I just remember them by username though. Nice thread
