The title pretty much says it, do you remember people from their name, picture, or layout? I have trouble remembering names so at firsts I will remember someone from their picture or layout (which ever one is more interesting or original looking). After I see the name over and over it will finally stick in my mind who they are. I keep my picture the same for that reason + I like it lol.

Yup. I always know who people are for their picture and layout. I remember Razor used to have the Mario Kart layout and he changed it one day and it threw me off so much. Some people that this applies to more than others are TornadoMudkip's picture, Barathemos's picture, David's picture and layout, geeogree's picture and layout, Jordan's picture and layout, mrfe's picture, and Eirinn's picture and layout.

Good question! I usually remember others on vizzed through their usernames, I guess... Sometimes I would remember them from their userpics but at times, they would change it so I prefer usernames.

For example, tgags with his Eevee picture, or Eddy88 with his Rigby picture. rcarter with his FF photo, too.
Or Eirinn and mlb789 with their layouts. Or Razor-987 with his old Mario Kart Layout.
And, people like Singelli or B619ook for their names!

I usually remember users from there usernames, but I always remember them for there layouts. Right now I'm trying to remember users from there personality which I think wouldn't be that tough I guess.

I think this is an interesting question. I've often wondered how many people depend on user pics, because I know most users change their pictures quite often.  To me it just doesn't seem all that reliable of a thing to depend on, and layouts even less so.

I always have been a 'word' person. Even when writing scenes in a role play, I could care less what my character looks like.  When people ask me and think that the visual is so extremely important... well, it throws me off and I'm like "Uh.... my character is a girl with brown hair?"  I've actually thrown a few people off with my lack of interest in appearances.  Maybe it's related to my inability to judge the looks of a male figure?

In any case... usernames for sure.  I only ever know people by their names. I bet I'd actually be embarrassed if you asked me what my favorite people's profile pics were, and I wasn't allowed to look. XD

Singelli : Its the exact opposite for me. I am dyslexic and its very hard for me to keep a word in mind, words have a little less meaning to me then it would others. Visuals have a much stronger impact on me. After I get to know a person I do remember their names over the pictures they use or their layouts. I do like your point of view though. By any chance are you an English teacher? I think you are a teacher but I have no clue what you teach or what grade or anything.

I used to just look at userpics, or occationally a layout, but eventually, it got way too hard to keep every picture attached to each user, especially wih mass used layouts. Eventually I started going by usernames.

Moslty all 3, depending on who they are. I remember most "big" members of vizzed by their names, while other members usually by their picture/layout to remember them

I usually depend on the name, second is on the layout, specially for people who rarely change their layouts or layout styles.

Yeah, there are a lot of people I remember this way. If I see an Eevee layout, it's tgags123. If I see a sunflower, it's Singelli, and Luxray is b619ook.

It really just depends. If it is a user that I don't really interact with much, but see them post a lot, I tend to recognize them by their layout. If it is someone I interact with pretty regularly, it tends to be their username. Normally, I don't even notice their layouts. There are a few select that I tend to associate them with their profile pics though, but literally only a few. Jordan is one of them, as well as David. There are a couple others, but I can't recall right now. But it really just depends on what interaction I really have with them.

Welp in response to your question here, it's mainly dependant on how often i see a person , and I mainly focus on the username, but if i get to know them well enough, I can recongize them via by profile image.

I typically can remember people by all three. I guess I mostly remember people by names more than anything else with layouts and pictures kinda tying for second. Pretty much everyone who has posted to this thread I remember mostly by name. Sometimes I remember people by what threads they made or specific posts.

For an example for thread/post: tgags123 for a thread that was like "ask me to do something" and I just asked him to have a good rest of the week.

B619ook for the "what is your favorite forum?" thread.

Singelli has threads all over but I sure remember her one about the brain controlling parasite in science.

As for everyone else i've seen a lot of posts by them including yourself Genesis.

If I have talked to them more than once, I can remember them from their user name. For everyone else, I can recognize their pics and backgrounds, but not 100% of the time.

I've only been on Vizzed for just over a month, but I recognize names I see a lot, especially on the forums.

I don't remember many layouts, I have a bad memory. I just look straight for their names. The only one I remembered was Razor with his old Mario Kart, nothing else.

I remember a lot of people from their layout. I don't remember too many username though. Or user pictures.

Same story here, some of the members I remember by either their layout or their avatar. Layout for example, darthyoda comes to mind and avatars Davideo7 and former member Crazy Li come to mind.
