Hello pokefans and vizzed peeps.
I was wondering just now, if you could start a pokemon game with any pokemon out there who would you pick?
Also to make it a little more interesting you can't ever put this pokemon in the box, or ever take it off your team.
Legendary pokemon are fine as well, I just like a little evolution.

I think I would go with Beldum who eventually evolves into Metagross, this guy holding some leftovers has ripped through too many stronger enemies and has proven to be the most reliable Pokemon for myself that isn't legendary, not only that he looks cool as hell.

Who and why?
Also side question, who are you all planning on starting with in X and Y? 
I'm thinking Froakie but that's just if Fenniken's final form isn't fire/psychic.

Starting with a Legendary or an evolution is unfair. Then you're a little too strong for the start which makes the game less fun than before.

All the overpowered stuff is up to the person choosing, some people might think it's fun to have a Pokemon that's rips everything apart. That's probably the main reason I asked, I wanted to see what traits people like, I personally like reliability and late evolvers.

Sentret. Furret is a beast when used right. I obviously didn't pick sentret because furret is my favorite pokemon, just because he's underrated  Either that or eevee. I'd love for my rival to pick like a ghost type because my eevee can't hurt him and then I bring out an umbreon :-3

Hmm, if I had to choose any pokemon to start with, I'd pick a strong dragon type pokemon like garchomp, salamence, dragonite, or haxorus, so I guess I would say a gible, bagon, or dratini would be my choice. Dragon type pokemon are amazing in my opinion, they are incredibly strong and they have a lot of powerful moves like outrage.

And yeah, starting with legendary pokemon is way overpowered, and it really takes all the fun out of playing if you have super strong legendaries from the very start. I would pick Eevee, if that wasn't obvious. It is so cute and can evolve into 8 different Pokemon of different types. If I had to choose between any starter, it would be Torchic. Blaziken is one of my favorite Pokemon ever. I love the move Blaze Kick. If I had to choose a Pokemon that isn't part of an evolutionary chain, I would choose Absol. If I had to choose a legendary, I would choose Groudon.

I would say Abra cause eventually he evolves into Alakazam who is the strongest Psychic in the game in my opinion. However the fact that he only starts with teleport would make the start quite difficult. If not abra I'd go Darkrai, I love dark types and Darkrai's moveset is awesome as well.

Raise it well enough, train it to its limits and evolve that mofo into an amazing Gengar and stack its move set with any needed elemental moves I want because for a ghost/poison pokemon he goes above and beyond. Plus I wouldn't mind getting into some shenanigans I could get away with when it comes to owning a ghost pokemon.

I wonder what Pokemon I'd choose as a starter... I guess Ralts with some minor egg moves would be great! Rock Head Aron with Head Smash would be nice too. So physically awesome with the great Attack and Defence stats. If none were allowed baby moves then I'd pick Pawniard. I just want to use the guy in the main story.

I would pick snorlax. I have always licked him and he is basicly a tank. He got a pretty good move pool and he got giga drain and rest. Those two moves are very awsome.
