Okay, the title says it all, which utensil for writing do you use most often? I know it is a silly question to ask, but everybody has their preferences, I tend to use mechanical pencils because they have lead and you don't have to worry about sharpening them and you can keep using them as long as you have some. I never use pen because it is messy and it can smear and it doesn't look good when you make a mistake and you have to scribble it out. So, which one do you use most often?

I think that's a great question! I mostly use a regular pencil. I've tried using a mechanical pencil before, but the lead kept breaking every time I tried to write because I tend to write too big and I grip the pencil too hard.

I use regular pencils because mechanical pencil leads break too easily for me. I guess I apply excessive pressure when writing. >.<
There was a brief time when I exclusively used pens, but pencils are better if only for the fact that their marks can be erased easily.

I love the pencil more but the bloody thing keeps breaking. So I end up writing in Pen. (I am getting better with my art work using a pen. With the ten years of never having a pencil that didn't break? Anyone would get good with a pen.)
I favour blue over black for some odd reason.
Get them from the "Dollar Tree". I see no reason to pay more than a buck for a silly thing like pens. I go through them like toilet paper.

Wish I had more words on the matter.

I tend to use a pen a lot. I think it started when I got in the 10th grade? I honestly can not stand to use a pencil these days for some reason, unless I have the weird urge to sketch.

It seems that mechanical pencil and pen are pretty widely used by everyone. I tend to use a mechanical pencil when I sketch because the point of the lead is more fine than a regular pencil. I tend to not use pen as much unless I am making corrections or revisions with my writing, other than that I really don't use pen for a whole lot. I think it is cool though that a lot of users use pen to sketch, I think that is cool, I just don't use pen to write things that are final because I know I will end up making a mistake and if it is a serious writing assignment, I really would hate to use pen and scribble out my answer.
