That depends on the person, and I would say you can't. I don't think lack of sleep would drive you crazy, though it would make you very tired. If you are having sleep problems then detail them and we should be able to help.

That's a hard one to answer, as it all depends on the person, and how well they are able to hold out without any sleep. Thou if I had to guess, its more than likely the person would pass out from exhaustion before he or she went crazy.

I guess it would depend on the person, but personally for me it would be about 3 days before I start to get irritated and start to go crazy like spazz out on someone.

Depends on the person. A lot of my friends use stimulant drugs and stay awake for days, they seem to be going crazy around the 5th/6th day. Personally I can;t go longer than 3 days without falling asleep so I guess I don't really know :/ 

I read that if you go 10 days without sleep, you will not be able to be the same, it messes with your brain into a strange state.

I will say I can survive quite a lot of time without sleep.

My guess is that it would vary form person to person, the minimum being two days and the maximum being a few weeks.

Like everyone has said, it really depends on the person.  There was once a study and it took a person three days to literally go crazy.  Although they were also in a room with absolutely no contact to the outside so that would have had a huge factor on it, so I'm not really sure if that would count. 

Well the over the past few days I had to literally force myself to sleep or else I would have been up a whole day but for some reason I can't really fall asleep I'm a night owl.

I'm not really sure because I can only go one day without sleeping and then I'll fall asleep in the morning. If I could stay awake for more than one day, I'm sure 2 days would be enough to make me go crazy but it just depends on who you are (like almost every person posting in this thread has said so far).

Funny that when a person alters a few words it does not sound so bad.
There are interrogation methods that are documented from the ancient world to the modern world.
Even old prisons have documents to look up.
It varies but the average can be looked up if one were inclined.

I overheard a character in a flick mentioning it and I think they used the term hours. But the funny part was if you do the math? It added up to a couple of days. I think it was 3 days.

At my job (we do graveyard shifts.) It is not uncommon to see a few people act like Zombies within the first month. See a guy do three 14 hour shifts consecutively in a row? His mind will go buggy. Plus he still has 2 days to go. Those were the old days. Today? It still happens but rarely. There is a 40 hour on duty per week rule and an 8 hour off per day rule. Still there are ways around the rules if they trump the paperwork right. (Witch they can and will do.)
Plus there are safety regulations that have to be maintained without incident. Period.

I swear if a lawyer wanted to make a living? They can stop chasing ambulances and hang out at warehouses.
I have seen it get that absurd with my own eyes.

i heard once that if you stay awake for around 5 days straight(Very hard to do) illusions and halucinations are very common. so i decided to put that to the test. five days before halloween i slept for a total of one hour(accidentally) and let me just say i was not dissapointed

I read someone went 11 days without sleep and had no side effects but also read someone went 80 days....which i find a little hard to head my head around.

It really depends on the individual person, because someone might have a different mindset and when they go without sleep, I think it takes like 3 - 4 days before it starts driving someone insane.
