Intergold : Nothing against you, of course, but I can't stand the xp. I guess I've just been spoiled with good graphics.

I prefer the windows 8. I don't own one, but I use one every school day. I really like it. Anyway, I definitally like the Windows 7 too, but I think 8 just takes the cake.

Windows 7 is the best Windows OS in my mind, it has the necessities and it's easy to use. I did like XP, but I don't really care for Windows 8, overlooking the Start Menu.

Intergold : I hate to disagree with you but windows XP is no good and I will tell you why. In my Computer tech class that I was in Job Corps We had a chart of all the windows operating systems. Vista was on top of the chart while XP was at the bottom of the list. Above XP was one month old rotten eggs and spoiled milk mixed together. Don't ask me how that list came about. It was there way before I was there. And this was before Windows 8 so I don't know if the list has been changed or not. But in my opinion I think 7 is better since I'm currently using it.

I think there is a thread like this already, but I like Windows 7. I'm not a very big XP fan, mostly because all the computers that I've used with it go REALLY slow. And I haven't used 8, but from what I've seen, I'm not impressed. And I use a Vista sometimes, but I've been happy with it. Works just fine. And Windows 97, I believe is the other one that I have used. Don't remember much, but I do remember that it had cool screensavers.

First of all mac sucks, people make windows 8 sound so good but its no different then 7. Windows 8 is mainly for people with touch screen computers it make navigating easier for them.

My favorite version of Windows is Windows 7. My last Desktop had Vista and I eventually upgraded it to 7 when that came out and I really liked 7, was a lot better than vista.

I currently have Windows 8 and I hate it. I would downgrade to Windows 7 but some of the development I plan on doing requires Windows 8.

As of now, I like windows 7 the most. It's basically windows vista done right. XP was amazing years ago, and was even better than vista in a lot of ways, but it is very outdated now. I have had very little experience with Win8, but from what I have used of it, I don't care for it (but that is probably me just not liking having to re learn locations of things and how to do certain things).

Windows 7 by far. My new computer has windows 8, and it just doesn't have the pleasing aesthetic look, the easy to use desktop mode, and it wasn't Microsoft trying to make a tablet computer. So yeah, windows 7 is awesome, and I miss it so.

Davideo7 : Nope, lol, I started using computers when I was 5, with 95, and then we changed to a 98 computer at age 8, found it a lot harder to use, and everybody else did, too. Started using that computer 2 years ago because mine was broken. It was something painful, but I had a copy of XP, and then it worked fine.

I've never used 2.0 though, general things about it on the internet aren't very favorable though.

Windows 7 is really sleek, and I like it, even though it has been bogged down lately with this one virus. I need a new computer anyways, this one is 4 1/2 years old. Windows XP takes a close second though, it seemed reliable and easy to use

I like 7 a lot! Vista was utter garbage, and 8 has the guts of 7, but meant for touch screens or mobile devices. I have a desktop, therefore 7 is better for what I use.

I think Mac is a good OS; a little restrictive, but stable and safe. I also use Ubuntu occasionally. Yes, Linux.
