Ocarina of Time's opening was so solemn..yet it prepared you for the epicness in the game to come. Also I love the Wind Waker's opening song that plays at the 'Press Start' screen. Quite awesome.

I'd say Final Fantasy 7 but other people have already talked about it, so I'm going to do my second favorite game, which was....

Final Fantasy 8. The ocean, that's what blew me away. That was seriously the coolest thing I'd ever seen on my computer to that point. And the girl in the meadow, and the words of devotion, the hint of the sorcerer, and then the super dramatic fight scene between our main emo boy and his emo rival...the little hints of what we're going to see later...and then the fire. The FIRE. It was so cool. I remember how disappointed I was in the actual graphics of the game after I watched the opening scene, lol. Not that they were bad, just...not as cool as the opening.

I usually skip the intro scenes, and I haven't watched the intro of all of these games, so I will go with one that seems like it doesn't belong at all, but I liked Pokémon Gold. I thought it was a cool intro, and that was the first one that I ever saw also.

I really liked the opening intro to Limbo. It isn't much, but it is eerie and instantly lets you know that the world you are in is not normal. It probably isnt my favorite, its just one I could think of.

But I'm Kinda Suprised That All of the Final Fantasy Fans have yet to mention "Final Fantasy 8".

I think a little diversity may be in dire need.
Want a classic that still gets a person going? Ninja Gaiden for N.E.S. still has great intros and those games are 20 years old.
