When did you stop believing all of those child-fairytales? I stopped believing about Santa when I was 11. One day, I snuck in my mom's purse and looked inside a F.Y.E. bag and saw the same present I saw a few weeks later.... I couldn't believe my eyes later on :CThe Tooth Fairy when I was 9.... and I never believed in the Easter Bunny.

I was in first grade or so. But you want to know the funny thing? My older brother and I never told our mother that we stopped believing, and I was actually in middle school before my mother thought she should sit us down and "break the news to us". Our response was "Uh......duh." Just think if we didn't stop believing. That means she'd  have let us reach 13 and 15 years with this thinking. The taunting we would have gotten in middle school if our peers found out.

Man, it has been so long since my mother told me I cannot quite remember how old I was at the time. I must have been around 6, 7, or 8 years old. It wasn't anything dramatic. My mom gently told me and my siblings and we took it as truth. Nothing of value was lost.

I never had the experience. It was just fact that there was no santa all along. lol. Of course, my parents must not have wanted us to feel left out, so they told us there was a Hanukkah Joe. I don't even remember if I thought that was real. Been so long since that was mentioned in our house. My favorite Christmas movie is The Santa Clause though. Gotta admit, that's the best and most realistic. not to mention the pun and that it has Tim Allen.
