When did you stop believing all of those child-fairytales? I stopped believing about Santa when I was 11. One day, I snuck in my mom's purse and looked inside a F.Y.E. bag and saw the same present I saw a few weeks later.... I couldn't believe my eyes later on :CThe Tooth Fairy when I was 9.... and I never believed in the Easter Bunny.

I was probably around 7. I stopped because my parents told me that it was all just a bunch of crap and so I just listened. So I just did.

I can't remember the last time that I honestly believed that he came down out of chimney to give us gifts. After all, we don't have the typical fireplace/chimney like in the Christmas specials so how was he gonna get in?

I don't recall ever believing any of those tales I just considered them the equivalent to a disney movies or cartoons. You learn when you have common sense. Flying raindear with a clown nose? 500 pound man going down chimney (if you even have one)? Come on now...

Saw "santa". It was my grandmother. Dreams ruined.

I was in first grade or so. But you want to know the funny thing? My older brother and I never told our mother that we stopped believing, and I was actually in middle school before my mother thought she should sit us down and "break the news to us". Our response was "Uh......duh." Just think if we didn't stop believing. That means she'd  have let us reach 13 and 15 years with this thinking. The taunting we would have gotten in middle school if our peers found out.

I don't remember ever believing in Santa, but that's probably because I find him so ridiculous now. It must've been when I was really young, like 5 or something. Now I know all my parents just buy me presents.

Man, it has been so long since my mother told me I cannot quite remember how old I was at the time. I must have been around 6, 7, or 8 years old. It wasn't anything dramatic. My mom gently told me and my siblings and we took it as truth. Nothing of value was lost.

I never had the experience. It was just fact that there was no santa all along. lol. Of course, my parents must not have wanted us to feel left out, so they told us there was a Hanukkah Joe. I don't even remember if I thought that was real. Been so long since that was mentioned in our house. My favorite Christmas movie is The Santa Clause though. Gotta admit, that's the best and most realistic. not to mention the pun and that it has Tim Allen.

I think I must have been seven or eight... I am not totally sure. I remember asking for a pony and I got a reply from "Santa" explaining why I couldn't have one, and why I got books instead. I recognized my mother's writing and argument, and that is when I stopped. Though I think I carried it on for another year. Easter bunny went at the same time.

Probably when I found a receipt for one of my old Christmas presents on the floor...I never really believed in the easter bunny.

I found out at the age of probably 4-7. I asked my dad if he believed in Santa, he didn't. 

Um...I was 15..yes that was last year.My grandma marked all the presents as from santa..even the ones I picked!

I was not happy.

I think when I was like 3 my brother told me so I never really believed in santa....  Makes sense since we never had a fire place...

Now the easter bunny neither me or my brother believed in that.  A pink big giant human like bunny bringing eggs and toys to your house while you sleep just is too rediculous to believe in.  Though for my sister I do make an effort to twist the santa story so it fits with modern day.  "He uses magic to come through the TV at night and bring you your pressents."  We have no fire place so if we use that, well common sense will take over.  She'll probably figure it out in the next year or two.  She was able to figure out what "Rock abye baby" song was all about before she could even talk.  So she'll be able to debunk santa soon.  We don't even try with the easter bunny.  There is no logic with that fairy tale creature!

I was like 4 or something.One day I was bored and just walking around and  I usually went in my mom's closet when I'm looking for something to do(don't ask)So when I went in the closet,I just saw a mountain of toys and stuff .I was pretty upset.But the good thing is ever since then I've known that my mom hides our presents in the closet.
