Haha, I imagine my family and friends see me as a hardcore gamer, but really I am only hardcore depending what game it is. If I really like a game, I want to beat it getting everything I possibly can, such as in Super Smash brothers Brawl, finishing every mode with every character. I went further than that and never used one of those hammers for unlocking challenges or whatever.

When it comes to a game I really do not care enough about, or perhaps it frustrated me that I gave up one getting everything, I will just doing the minimum of what is needed, maybe a little extra. For instance, I will NOT be replaying Goldeneye for the Wii after I beat it on normal. Some of the missions just really angered me. (Danged protect-Natalya missions)

So I think I am casually hardcore, haha.

I'd probably appeal more to the casual market, mostly because I don't know what the defining line between casual and hardcore is. I play games when I can, but not as many and not as frequently as I used to, and I used to play them all the time as a young child.

Personally, I don't consider myself to be as hardcore as some people who do their speedruns or their one-credit challenges or whatnot. But whenever I get into a game that I particularly enjoy, I'll always go for 100%. I guess I'm more of a "completionist" in that sense.

Also, I think that the near-ridiculous amount of time that I invest in looking up, reading about, and playing games would define me as hardcore according to most people.

I like to think of myself as a hardcore gamer, I play games like everyday and most of the times all day, I usually end up playing more than three and I usually beat most of them within a week or two if it takes me longer than that then I'm going around looking for every item I could possibly pick up in the game or I'm glitching it for fun or trying to find some secret things that are hidden within it.

I'd say that I'm in between. I'm not as hardcore as some of the people with the speedruns and stuff, but I'm unhappy with the game if I don't get 100%, which is why I hate playing Yoshi's Island, even though it's an amazing game. I can be a casual gamer, sometimes too casual. I sometimes play games not trying to win as much as I can, but maybe that's even more hardcore, but I don't know. I do enjoy doing Pokémon playthroughs with certain types of Pokémon. My next challenge is an all Rattata run.
