At first I could not find how to fit in.  I was a little too energetic in my posting and probably didn't make much sense.  After spending some time in the chat I learned how the community acted and I was able to form my posts so that others could understand me.  Each forum community is different and thus you have to forum how you act different to each forum. 

This forum makes you think out your posts and wants you to be more intellectual with what you do on the forum.
Other places don't care that much or are between childish dribble and sophisticated conversations.  I once was part of a forum that was right in between you had places to play and places to work you could say.  I see this place as at the higher end of the sophisticated conversation type forum.

Anyway even though it took me a few months at the start to gain some ground here I now feel like I am a part of this community.

Release me... I wanna be free!

I was quite depressed, and wasn't being given the professional help I required when I first joined this site. I also was extremely shy back then. I didn't really post a ton, and it seems my depression had an effect on my grammar. I also was kind of seeking attention for some reason. I'm now medicated, luckily. I also am a lot less shy about everything. I'm much more mature in general due to age, as well.

Actually yeah, when I joined I wasn't too sociable (still not that much), but I have got into the spirit of posting; not too much in chat though. Anyway, I think I have gained a little bit of management skills in my life from being on vizzed - the site is a sort of get-away-from-reality for me.

I never thought I'd be in the position I am now here when I joined, but my responsibility here does help me cope with my responsibilities irl. So yeah, definitely in little aspects vizzed has had an impact for me.

It hasn't been a full year quite yet, but looking back when I first joined. Yeah, I can say I changed a bit from being here. When I first came here. The only thing I cared about was playing in the RGR. I didn't care about what was going on in the forums and such. I'm a bit of an anti-social person. I kept to myself and stayed out of things I didn't understand, but now? I'm more out there, more confident in myself. I remember seeing one thread, though I can't remember what it was even if my life depended on it. Ha.. Anyways. That spiked me to post into that forum about the subject. I figured I would just throw my two cents out there and be on my way sticking to myself, but a conversation sparked only for a brief moment in the chat bar.

YourMajestyKen : well, the early days of the board were kind of spammy in general. Vizzed wasn't my first board though so I had already overcome my "newb"-ish tendencies. I was still a lot younger than I am now so I lacked some of the maturity I have now... but still was a bit spammy early on

My personality on the board hasn't changed from day one. But I still have changed since I first joined. When I first joined, I was all about the RGR. It took me a while to start posting. When I found out about the future Battle Arena feature, i started posting to raise my level. But my posts back then were of the same quality. But now, I find myself posting more often than playing in the RGR. Most of my RGR playing is when I am participating in the monthly competitions, which I make sure I do every month. But I think the biggest change in what I do on Vizzed changed when I became a trusted member after 103 days (or somewhere around there). It wasn't more than a few weeks after that that I became a Game Reviewer. 2 months later, I became a Mod. So even though my personality on the board hasn't changed, what I do on Vizzed has changed drastically.
