Anyways, If you had to pick one video game to play the rest of your life what would you pick? Something that you know you would never get bored with and could have endless hours of gameplay and when you beat it you have even more to play. I would play the Sims 2/3/4 .. I could play that any day.. and anytime and not get bored.

Bintsy : What game would I play for the rest of my life? That's a real tough question. It'd have to be a game that doesn't have a real ending or a storyline because those types of games would get sickening after beating them a few times.

I want to say Final Fantasy VII but realistically I'd probably get bored of it after 300 hours. When I played through the game, I probably invested 200 hours into the game because I probably did everything possible, maxed out everything, etc. Now if I was to play Final Fantasy VII again (it's been over 15 years), I could do the same. Now if I played it again right afterward, I'd probably still be able to enjoy it but I'd probably be able to go through it quicker the 2nd time if I tried to do everything. The 3rd time just wouldn't be fun anymore so therefore 300 hours and I'd be bored with it.

Pokemon X would be a possibility but that brings up the same problem that Final Fantasy VII does, once you do everything you can possibly do, the 2nd or 3rd time doing it wouldn't be as fun. Now Pokemon X would probably offer more hours of fun before it'd start to get boring compared to Final Fantasy VII but it's still not a game that I could play forever.

The Sims 3 would actually be an excellent choice because it's a game that really draws you in and really makes you feel part of the world that you're creating. The game satisfies a lot of my gaming needs: Build mode offers a creative experience, the jobs offer a strategic experience, etc.

Minecraft is another excellent choice since there's always something to do as long as I have a creative mind. I've put many hours into Minecraft and have never got bored of it. Plus when you add all the possible mods for Minecraft and the ability to play online, that really makes the experience endless.

So I guess my answer comes down to what the circumstances are.

If I'm given an internet connection and access to mods, I'd go with Minecraft.

If I'm not given an internet connection and access to mods, I'd go with The Sims 3.
