In my last thread of my cat, I said that I would make a thread if she is about to pass away.  Well here it is. :'( I can't believe this is actually happening to me right now.  My mom is going to the vet tomorrow and they are going to put her out of her misery.  I am not going to be able to get through this.

She is a year younger than me and I see her like a little sister.  She has been with us from Canada to Texas to Tennessee.  She has been in all my life and I really enjoy having her.  Sometimes she would bug me and I would get mad at her, but I know that the end of the day, I still love her.  Seeing the end of her is going to be painful.  I would always have her by my side and I will always love her for the rest of my life.  Rest in peace Sissy.  We love you. :'(

For many people it is losing a family member, like you said, losing a sister.  Most of my pets have died of old age naturally, so I did not have to anticipate them being taken to the vet and put to sleep. Sorry to hear you are going through this. I hope you can find solace in the fact that she had a long happy life with your family. You are a good person for giving your cat the life she deserved. RIP Sissy.
