Tom and Gerry was a little boring to me, cat chases mouse, mouse out smarts cat,repeat process.
Scooby Doo had a new story with every episode, which held my attention a lot better. Not to mention it had Scrappy Doo!

Scooby doo is way better than Tom & jerry because it has some form of a plot which Tom & Jerry did not have, okay I wasn't a big fan of Tom & Jerry to start with but mindless violence can only get so funny. Scooby doo managed to keep bringing new villainous characters into play which I really enjoyed.

Easily Tom and Jerry, I find it extremely funny and memorable. I love to watch it whenever it comes on, everyone in my family likes Tom and Jerry, my Mom and Dad grew up with that show and they love it. I never found scooby doo funny at all, but that might be because I have never watched it except like 1 time. It sucks that good cartoons like these are being replaced with garbage like annoying orange, adventure time and a whole bunch of other sucky shows that always seem to be on tv and most of these shows aren't even funny to begin with with the exception of drake and josh and a few others. But for this I like Tom and Jerry, it is just really hilarious.

I mean, who wouldn't like them... it's a casual comedy of cat and mouse.

Scooby-Doo is more like... watching Ghostbusters, it's cool and all... but the comedy is more based upon suspense and failed attempts to run or failed attempts by the so called "ghost".
