I saw the other thread coolest pet name, so I decided to make one about your best pet.

Mine was my maincoon cat Jack.  He was super smart could meow human words, and I believe he could read to an extent.  One time when playing a game called Saga Frontier on the Playstation One I got stuck and had my game guide (all text) out and he put his paw on the section I needed.  He kept doing this for a while when I would get stuck.  It really freaked me out (of course no one believed me except my mom who saw this). 

Another time he was starring at a note on the end table (where my mom put notes for chores that she wanted us kids to do).  The next moment he hopped on the table.  I looked at the note and it said to clean off the table.  When he got old he would sleep on my bed with me and would not let any of the other cats on the bed.  He became the king of all the cats it was funny.  No one could eat and drink when he was eating and drinking, and he got the good spots like next to the heater or the AC.  One time he saved one of the cats from burning themselves to death over a candle lol.  He went up to me and meowed and had me follow him and there I saw my cat Peanutbutter standing over a candle and there were flames on his fur.  The funny thing is that PeanutButter was so dumb that he didn't even move lol!

My favorite pet is still alive, and that is, and always will be, my Golden Retriever Baloo. He's so sweet and always happy! I love him so much.

My favourite pet is (not dead yet) my cat named jojo. He is a really big cat not fat biig cat. Sometimes I tend to call him HQ of laziness.
he`s always sleeping on my bed. It`s also very strong can beat a golden retriever in a fight. Also he`s very social and friendly.

My pet dog is still alive as well and his name is Flanagan he is a beagle and he is really the only pet I ever had and the best 

My favorite pets are my 2 dogs, I've had them for nearly 10 years now, so it will really crush the family when they go. They have their own personalities. I really love them a lot, even if  sometimes I don't like them. Especially when they do something wrong when they know it is wrong. But like I said I still love them.

I do have a current living best pet and it's my kitten Misty.  She's all white except a black patch on the head and tail.   She has two eye colors one blue and one gold.  She acts a lot like Jack she always likes seeing what I do on the computer and helps me cook.  She also gives a great back massage at night time she never uses her claws.  She also comforts me when I am not feeling well.

RequiemHaunt : Hey your pets are pretty smart, helpful and intelligent I must say.  Well also I had a kitten, but with blue and Grey eyes, but I quite think dogs killed it and i had seen its torn body, then up to that point I do not really like anymore cats.  But surely I have got a great Dog 'Bouba'....Likes to play a lot...and go over the whole house.It  would jump and take by bread recently two days ago  it can be a Brat sometimes but I just love my him.

My favorite pet is my dog that I have right now and her name is Lucy and she is a black lab. I love her to death! She is very cute and this is coming from a guy.

I had a fish (actually, it was my sister's). The reason why it's the best is because it's my only pet. xD

The only pet I ever had were goldfishes so I think that goldfishes are the best pet I've ever had even though they don't do nothing special except swim around in the tank and wait for food to arrive.

The best pet I've ever had is sitting right on my lap. My dog Dino is super awesome and loyal, not to mention very fluffy. =3

I've had 4 dogs. 1 of them bit me when I was young, so I really don't care for him. I love the other three equally. They're all Labradors and they're each good in their own ways.

I could interpret "best" as best behaved. My chocolate lab is unnaturally well trained. Even if he's running full speed after a squirrel, he will stop and turn around if someone calls him.

BNuge : I wish my dogs were half that well trained.  If my dogs get out of the house through the front door they attack everything including people.  They are sort of better when just in the fenced in back yard.  They just are noisy....  And tear up all the furniture outside.  My parents never got training for our dogs and never are home to pay attention to them.  I try to give them attention but they always try to attack me so I leave them outside when they do that.  Some times they are nice to me... Some times...

That's just my chocolate lab. My old yellow lab got out of our yard once. He wandered into the the back part of our neighbors back yard and came out looking like a black lab (they have a small swamp behind their yard). My mom has only taken our dogs grooming twice. That was the first one because she didn't want to get rid of that much dirt. It was actually worth the money.

The other dog is a beagle/yellow lab mix. He will run away and he won't come back until it's dinner time. The reason the chocolate lab comes back is partially because he is afraid that we will leave him behind. Occasionally in the woods I'll let him stay behind to sniff a plant or something and I go and hide. He seriously freaks out and runs all over the place searching for me. I guess he has abandonment issues.

My favorite dog is still alive and his name is Sammy.

For me, the best pet I ever had was the last pet I had and that was my cat Snarly. Its weird because at the start, I was afraid of her since she kept hissing every time someone would get close but after a short while, I realised she was the nicest cat I have ever had.

Unfortunately, the apartments I've lived in all my life don't allow pets unless you pay a ridiculously high fee. >.> So I've never actually had one... =| Unless you count some fish I had at one point who all died like days after I got them. Bleh. 

But I was at my grandmother's house as a kid so much that I pretty much came to think of their pets as my own. She once had this orange tabby cat named Sunshine. He was the friendliest cat I'd ever met. He always seemed so happy to see me, haha. I was so crushed when I heard he'd died. =/
