Whats your favorite Shrek Character? Mine in the Little gingerbread cookie! I LOVE HIM!

I like donkey he is funny and annoying at the same time witch makes him kool in my books.

i can't decide between 3 characters Gingie Puss in boots or donkey those are no doubt the best characters in the movie

Shrek is really awesome so I will have to go with Shrek!

Donkey! is my all time favorite character of the Shrek movies. Mostly i think because i am a Eddie Murphy fan.

I love Pinocchio1 Mainly on Shrek the third...the "I am not entirely sure where he isn't, yet on the contrary, he I might not entirely know that Shrek is or isn't at the place I know more or less likely not...."

I think I'd have to go with Puss in Boots, he was my absolute favourite from the beginning. Though, Donkey is quite hilarious too, and I like his Finnish voice.

Puss in Boots has always been my favourite. He's so freakin' cute.

I would have to say Shrek and Pinocchio. I love it when Pinocchio lies at the funniest moments. Are you wearing ladies underwear? Nooo... *Nose grows longer* XD That was the funniest moment with him.

My favorite Shrek Character is Shrek.  My girlfriend says it's Puss N Boots.  She loves when Puss N Boots does that sad looky thing with his eyes and that Antonio Banderas does the voicing.

My favorite character in the Shrek series? Of course, the Puss N Boots!

Hard to be honest...for the purposes of this answer, I'll base the answers I give on only the information given about the characters, with interviews ignored and the fairy tales referenced only being a vague guide. I have to say a character I watches for is Puss N Boots, as asides from comedic value, he has the most interesting story-arch. When he isn't being used for comedic relief, he is by far the most menacing protagonist, and the wild card in a sense. Yet he is also very vague in the sense that unlike Shrek, you don't know everything. Shrek is a good character in that he is far from flat, and you sees how he matures over the course of the four films. They tried to Make Fiona a strong character, and to some degree they succeeded butthere are times (particularly in the second film) she is the flattest...though some moments like in film 4, she is by far the strongest character. I know Donkey is supposed to beannoying and funny but...that alone makes him go down in my books, despite him still sharing the same unknown atmosphere as Puss N BootsSo...of the four main characters, I have to say Puss N Boots because his archetype is one I generally enjoys more, with Shrek a close second.

For the villains...I have to say that I thought that as far as developed villains goes, they are not the greatest. Lord Farquaad was the power-hungry dictator, Fairy Godmother was the evil genius with the elaborate-ish plans, Prince Charming was a bit of a spoiled brat who wanted their way, and Rumpelstiltskin was the dirty con artist. Of those traits, typically its between the dictator and the evil genius, and I have to give this round to the Evil Genius. In the end, she is the most interesting to follow, and the fact you wouldn't necessarily expect her to be a villain just by glancing at a list of characters adds to her depth. Furthermore, how she carries herself and her motives, while similar to lord Farquaad, wasn't as obvious in my eyes and that just made her a stronger villain.

I will choose one more character, this time from the supporting cast (villains and heroes alike). There are a lot of them but the vote goes DOUBTLESSLY to King Harold. He is subtly built up during much of the first film, albeit in passing, and he is what you would expect when you see him. However, how his character grows and develops over time is extremely fascinating. What makes him take the cake for me, however, is how seriously they took him. This was a character with relatively little comedic relief compared to everyone else, and when you saw him, you knew business. Especially in the third film, while still maintaining the tongue in cheek tone, he was not a character that was poked fun at a lot. He was the probably the closest thing to a serious character in the series, and that gets my vote.

I am a Donkey fan. He is so annoying in the most hilarious possible way. Gingie was close. I thought it was sad when Puss ate him.

Donkey. I love him just because he is so funny and annoying. I have not seen many of the new movies though so I would not say that I know about the new characters. Though I would assume Donkey is still funny.
