Whenever I used Internet Explorer a long time ago, I had very slow internet. But, then I switched to Google Chrome, and everything went much smoother and faster. Ever since, I've been using Google Chrome, and it's been working wonderfully.

Well, my previous internet was really good. The problem was that it fell off a lot. we had to do something but our internet provider wouldn't do it. We moved over to another internet but that falls off too, even though we fixed the problem. It's also considerably CONSIDERABLY slower.

My dorm internet is probably 1.5-2 times faster than at my home, but if I use the school computers themselves, it's maybe 8-9 times faster (That's a heck of a lot faster. Like seriously. A heck of a lot).

I can actually play minecraft on the highest chunk level without much issue, which I find incredible.
I kind of like a little cloudiness though, so I set the render distance to about 3/4ths of the maximum. That's still far more than I was able to at home.

Omg yes! I have a lot in the past and I still have to deal with slow Internet sometimes. It's quite annoying actually and I can never usually get anything done. Right now my Internet is steady but later it could go into psycho mode and be really slow.

I usually don't, but there are times when my sister hogs all the bandwidth, usually when she is playing Minecraft on her boyfriend's public server, or when they are playing Half Life 2 mods. For some inexplicable reason, her laptop gets priority then, and I can't even listen to a youtube music video when that happens. Everything but Skype slows to a deep, dark crawl that won't end until she ends the game she's playing. Usually when she goes to bed. So I'll be stuck with the inability to do ANYTHING save Skype, not even work, from around 6:30 to 10:30 at night. It gets frustrating, to say the least. 

Luckily, it doesn't happen that often. Sometimes I get lucky and my computer will get priority, so things run as smoothly as they can for an 11  year old, glorified toaster laptop. I have yet to figure out what causes what, but since I'm not a computer expert, I don't expect to, since I have no one around to teach me.

I fortunately don't have slow internet especially when I'm on Firefox. There I never issues with slow internet. My computer is very quick which makes me very happy.

It depends on the time of day. most of the day it is not that slow but on some days when it is about 5:00 PM it becomes slow enough that I can't even use it. I guess that's what I get for living in a rural area that has a very high population.

Speedtest always confused me because I didn't realize Mb/s was the same as Mbps but NOT the same as mb/s. I kind of just realized it now and I always thought Speedtest had their units wrong.


I recently had my speeds upgraded a bit. My computers are still s*** though so it sucks having wonderful Internet speeds and having microwaves disguised as computers who cannot play the simplest of games.

While I'm not the most informed on it, I think my internet is generally decent. It's not incredibly fast or anything but it gets me from point A to point B, and isn't too slow. Usually if anything it's my laptop I have problems with :V

Though I've heard Sweden at average has some of the fastest internet in the world faster than the US I believe, so that may be why.

The service is also pretty unreliable. It goes out on a regular basis, and we've had to call Verizon & have a technician over countless times.
