I like Milotic but it is awfully hard to get in some Pokémon games.

Milotic's design is nice (especially compared to Feebas). It has a good movepool and some useful abilities. I think it's a great choice for Pokémon contests too. Sadly they are very rare. In Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, it's definitely not easy to find a Feebas on Route 119. And when you finally have a Feebas, you have to give it a lot of (beauty) berries. That take a while and is perhaps not worth it. Hoenn has a lot of other great water types. At least it becomes easier to find a Feebas in the remakes.

The different evolution methods for Feebas in each game makes it very confusing too.

I give Milotic a 7/10. The next Pokémon to rate is Torkoal!

Torkoal is a Pokemon I personally like. It's not very ferocious looking compared to most fire types but I actually don't mind that. It has pretty decent all around stats aside from its speed and great defense. It's very slow but you can build it around shell smash set up or give it trick room support to make it more offensive. It's also easily capable of being a physical tank provided it doesn't have a type disadvantage. It's not amazing but it's a decent Pokemon that can work fine in game and has a cool design on top of that. I give it a 6/10.

Next Pokemon to rate is Eviolite Porygon2.

Eviolite Porygon2 makes use of the Eviolite item way better than most Pokemon. What makes it stand out over other Pokemon that make great use of the Eviolite is the fact that Porygon 2 has a pretty high special attack stat. Just give it Tri Attack, Thunder Wave, Recover, and ice beam, and you've got a staller that can deal high damage to it's enemies. I give Eviolite Porygon2 a 9 out of 10, no other Pokemon makes as good use of that item besides Scyther and possibly Dusclops.

The next Pokemon to rate is Alola Marowak.

It's kind of hard to rate a Pokemon that we haven't actually seen in action yet so I guess I'll go mainly based off design. I honestly like the more simplistic design of regular form Marowak (the same goes for most alola forms really). I don't really like them making him skinnier either as I feel his head looks too big for his body now. As for the typing, I'd rather the alola form be a pure ghost type which I think would make more sense considering the background of the Pokemon, for some reason like every Alola form has to be dual type which I don't like. I don't see where the fire type fits into this.

The next Pokemon to rate is Zangoose

I've used Zangoose before in some of my pokemon games and it is a pretty decent pokemon 8/10 it has a legendary history with it's rival Serviper and yet they are capable of being breeding partners lolz how is that for hilarious karma XD

the moves that I'd let it learn are Night Slash, Cut, Slash, and Dig I also lovez Zangooses overall design it being labeled the cat ferret pokemon makes me think that it can be very affectionate yet mischievous when it wants to be and it might be looked at as a possible replacement for Giovanni's Persian if he wanted a stronger looking pokemon by his side

the next pokemon to be judged is Skitty

Mewtwo, huh? Talk about a softball toss

In his day, Mewtwo was probably the best Psychic type in the game. Even up through Gen 3, where my experience with Pokemon ends, he always remained a consistent contender for being among the top 3 of his typing the franchise had to offer. All around great stats, and a move set that not only packed a punch, but also featured moves like "Recovery" made him a force to be reckoned with. Mewtwo gets a 10/10.

Next Pokemon up for rating will be...

Houndoom is one big bad ass there is. Even though there is nowadays far too many dog Pokémon's and those little electric mouses. I once used houndoom in Pokémon league and it is very good choice to use there. Being dark and fire type makes it very wicked son of a pokémon.

5/5 rating.

Next one is Dugtrio.

Dugtrio is some thing of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it has great offensive capabilities against types in it's favor, and a great deal of speed for striking first. On the other, it's extremely low defense can make it an easy target even for types it's powerful against. It can make a decent sweeper, but outside of that, it's low defense only makes it effective in specific situations.

I'd give Dugtrio a 6/10.

Average I guess.. probably like, 4/10. I never used it, the design is okay, it's just nothing all that special to me. It could probably be better if I used it but I don't usually go with poison types.

The next user should rate: Manectric

Stat wise, Manectric is focused solely on speed and special attack at 105 each, with all of its other stats falling in the average to below average range. Although its speed stat is good, it is just above average prior to mega evolution, and it can be completely walled off by strong ground types. It's pitiful defensive stats don't provide it with the means to tank super effective hits. This is only slightly remedied once it Mega evolves and receives an additional 20 points in defense and special defense for a total of 80 each.

Overall, Manectric is a pretty underwhelming electric pokemon, and there are many others that can fill a team spot much better (Ex: Zapdos, Ampharos, Zekrom). Altogether, I rate Manectric a 6/10 for being extremely average.

The next pokemon to rate is Haxorus.

Haxorus is one of my favorite Pokemon from gen 5. It has an extremely high attack stat and decent speed, making it a great physical sweeper. It also has good defense and a nice variety of moves that it can learn, giving it great type coverage. It's problem however comes in it's low special defense stat. One Ice Beam or Draco Meteor and you can say goodbye to Haxorus because it won't be able to handle an attack like that. Overall though, it's a great sweeper that gets an 8 out of 10 from me.

The next Pokemon to rate is Electivire.

Electivire... It looks like it has two long men's genitals coming from its back.. And it looks kind a dull anyways, but I sure like it's previous form Electabuzz. So I guess Electivire is a great choice for battle, if you're more about the power than the looks.

I rate it: 6,7219/10

Next one will be Ludicolo.

Cactuar : That comment about Electivire's.....thingies....almost made me choke on the sip of water I was drinking while making this post. Had I been unable to control myself, my computer would now be drenched in water XD

At a first glance Ludicolo's stats are pretty mediocre with the majority of them falling in the 70-80, its two best stats are its special attack and special defense which are still only 90 and 100 respectively. The problem with Ludicolo (and many other pokemon for that matter) is that its stats are too well rounded (and not in a good way like Arceus' base 120 stats all across the board) with every stat being borderline average with nothing that really makes it stand out from other pokemon in its tier in any special way. If 30 points were subtracted from its physical attack and instead added to its special attack, it would instead have 40 attack special attack. Sure its physical attack would be much lower than before (although it was never great to begin with), but its excellent base 120 special attack would more than make up for its attack deduction. Ultimately it would end up with one excellent stats as opposed to two "meh" stats.

Aside from its all around averageness, it is heavily reliant on the rain for it to be of any real use on the battlefield. Without it, it is unremarkable at best. Overall, there are other water types that get the job done much better with less investment and team support. Altogether, I rate Ludicolo a 4.5/10.

The next pokemon to rate is Umbreon.

Ugh. Love hate relationship with this one.

I think Umbreon as a pokemon is amazing. Love its design, love its cry and it is one of the best shinies out there.

Now I hate facing it. With defensive stats of 95/110/130 it is ridiculously tanky and most people run wish / toxic / protect just to piss you off. I do love using the curse / payback set though, since that one actually... attacks.

Furret :

Ursaring is a neat pokemon, I guess, solidly underrated, but overall, a mediocre to average pokemon, that doesn't have much use in or outside of battle. Just an entry in the pokedex.

I'll give it a 6/10.

Next pokemon is Trubbish.

Chansey is a decent special wall but it does nothing for you offensively. Even though it has like base 250 HP, it will die to any strong physical hit with its pathetic base 5 defense.

Its design is cool though, and the chance to get a lucky egg is always nice. 6/10

Next pokemon to rate is Gardevoir

Gardevoir is a weird looking psychic Pokemon but seems popular and has strong moves and popular enough to make appearances in Smash Bros games so for that i rate 7/10

Scyther is pretty good, but I'd rather keep it as a sycther and never evolve it or else I would hate it really. I like the design and the colors, love some of the movies it can learn. 7/10

Next pokemon to rate will be Nosepass.
