Theres two types of gum: with sugar, and sugar free. There are obviously good things in both, like a steady stream of sugar as apposed to less sugar to harm your teeth.

I don't even pay attention to whether or not gum has sugar when I buy it lol. I'm pretty sure most chewing gum is sugar free, while most bubble gum has sugar. Therefore, I'd say I primarily chew sugar free gum.

I prefer sugar free gum. Even though a tiny stick of gum might not have a lot of sugar, if you're one of those people who chew a lot its going to build up after a while.

Plus you don't really chew gum for the taste because it's quickly going to run out so I don't really care all that much tor having sugar in it.

Most of the time, I just use sugar gum. It helps that I don't chew gum that often and that I tend to chew for a while on one piece before getting rid of it. If I have chewed sugar-free, I didn't notice much of a taste difference, though.

As long as it doesn't have a replacement for sugar like Aspartame or Sucralose, that stuff is disgusting. I personally only enjoy sugary gum, but minty gum doesn't have to be sweet.
