What is your favorite video game music track that you have heard? Honestly, a lot of my favorite music comes from the Final Fantasy series, but this certain song from Final Fantasy VIII takes the cake for my favorite video game track:

The final boss theme of Final Fantasy VIII. This song, holy crap. It starts out with creepy sounds, transitions into a calming, yet sorrowful tune with acoustic guitar, harps, and piano. Then, when you least expect it, it kicks up a notch, with fast paced battle music. Simply amazing.

Recently, I got Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle for the switch, which has a fantastic soundtrack. The whole game has wonderfully orchestrated parts and a fantastic base line.

My favorite song is Midboss Mayhem, which is incredible for all of the parts blended so well together. It’s also intense, high paced, and gives the battles a much more frantic feel.

A lot of my music in video games comes from the Mega Man franchise

I don't think I have a specific favorite track nowadays, if I did have to pick something it would likely be from one of the Kingdom Hearts games, they have always had an excellent soundtrack. I also like the old Pokemon and Sonic game soundtracks for nostalgic reasons.

Recently though I've been playing some Jet Set Radio on the Vita and I have to say the soundtrack is really stellar. It also feels pretty unique even today which is impressive considering the game came out several console generations ago on the Dreamcast.

If we're talking just best overall though... At this point in time it has to be Final Fantasy 14, A lot of the songs are just amazing especially the primal boss songs and better still a lot of them have their own feel and sound/genre so it makes it even more epic honestly. -

I recently watched a playthrough of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars on YouTube. I love so much of the music in that game! My favorite song is likely the theme that plays in the castle at the end of the game. It fits well for it being the final area.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
