The Staff and I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas (and Happy Holidays) - each of their messages can be seen below. But I just wanted to go over a few quick things.
Davideo7's Thank You
I'd like to give thanks to all the users who have been loyal to vizzed and have helped out in many ways. Ultimately though, I'd like to give a huge thanks to the staff, they don't get enough recognition for what they do, this site wouldn't be anything without them. This is a massive site with 30,000+ people a day and it takes a lot of man (and woman) hours to keep this place organized and in control, it gets overwhelming but I couldn't ask for a better staff, especially for putting up with what they put up with every day. The staff do what they do for free, they all come together and donate their time to help me make this place the best gaming site/community on the internet and every day we're getting closer to that ultimate goal (and maybe we're already there).
RGR Christmas Competition
There's 2 Christmas RGR competitions going on right now that end at the end of the month so be sure to participate before the month ends. Here they are:
Screenshot Competition: ACME Animation Factory Christmas
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=34163
High Score Competition: Daze Before Christmas
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=34162
7 Days of Vizzed Christmas
You'll all be rewarded a nice Christmas gift when you come to the site on Christmas (server time). Additionally, you'll be rewarded a random amount of
Viz for each day that you come to vizzed from the 25th until the end of the year, the 'Vizzed 7 Days of Christmas'.
Christmas Games in the Retro Game Room
I put together a list of about 20 Christmas games that can be played in the RGR:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=34124
Christmas Cartoons in the Retro Toon Room
I put together a list of about 16 Christmas cartoons that can be watched in the RTR:

And now a message from the staff

As we finish yet another year, I have come to realize how amazing this past one has been for me personally. It's been a long year... and I've had my shares of ups and downs, but I'm still here, and so are you. Instead of focusing on the bad things, I want to focus on the good. We've attained many milestones, made many memories, and have endured an interesting year to say the least.
This site is not nearly as amazing though without it's loyal userbase. It's you guys that make coming here fun. It's you guys that make my job fun, and not just a chore. So with that, I want to say "Cheers" to you, Vizzians. You made this year great, and I know you will make the next one even better.
Like my good friend, and fellow moderator, the_casualty, I too have made a New Year's Resolution. My resolution is to work even harder to make this site better. Whether it's by simply saying hi to more newbies, or by suggesting ideas to make the site cleaner, smoother, and more fun. I also want to do a better job listening to all user complaints, as I've shyed away from my roots, the very ones that got me interested in becoming a staff member. I look forward to accomplishing this along side you, the userbase.
Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, and a happy New Year!

Merry Christmas! May this Christmas to be full of love, peace and joyous moments. Every year this is the day, when we feel more thankful for all the beautiful things around us, and we, the vizzed board staff members, feel thankful to all of our members for supporting vizzed both through good and bad times. Thank you, all of you guys and girls, without you, vizzed wouldn't be the same! Wholeheartedly, I wish you Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Merry Christmas to everybody on Vizzed. You guys are a huge part of my family, and the family seems to get bigger by the minute.
This site has quite literally quadroupled since I got here. I want to thank you all for being here, it really does make things alive.
The ones of you that I know are the most friendly people I know. (Coming from a Canadian, that's huge)
May your holidays be filled with joy, and may the force be with you.
Peace out.

Ah, it's that time of year again. The time we give thanks, exchange gifts, and appreciate the family that we have around us. That said, I would like to especially thank my family here on Vizzed.
While I haven't been around as long as most others, I feel like the site has impacted me nevertheless. In the short 6 1/2 months that I've been on Vizzed, I've made friends, had disputes, and worked faithfully on making this place better for everyone. And through all of the experiences, I've had the greatest time ever.
The success of this site would not be possible without every single user here, from David the owner to the least posting members. Merry Christmas to everyone, and a wonderful new year!

Not sure who will see this in the sea of staff messages, but I'd like to wish everyone a happy holidays, whatever it may be you celebrate. And whatever it is, celebrate it for it's true meaning. I'll also thank those of you who give best wishes to troops like me and those who are overseas in the desert that can't spend time with their family for Christmas or other holidays. Know that we're over there to ensure the rest of you safely can be with your family here in the U.S. You can help us out by making sure you're enjoying yourselves so our efforts don't go to waste. Also, it never hurts to send a letter or a random care package to a soldier as a present. We always like those. Keep up the activity on Vizzed. The more people like you show up the better this place gets. Keep participating in games and contests. And bring some holiday spirit to Vizzed this month. Thanks. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

First, I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays. I hope everyone has a great time. As for Vizzed, it is almost the end to an interesting year. This is my first year being a member on Vizzed, and you all have made it so fun for me. I came here for the games, but the community has drawn me in. In my first year, a lot has happened here. I joined right before the major attacks here, and thought the site would be gone before I could become a part of it. I would like to thank everyone who stuck around. You guys rock. I also want to thank David for giving me a position as a reviewer, and the Globals for asking me to be a Local. I have enjoyed every minute of it. I find myself coming here the first chance I get everyday just to talk to everyone here. This is the best online community I have ever seen, and the only one I have bothered to be a part of. I wish for another prosperous and active year for Vizzed. For everyone here, continue to have fun!

So it would seem we are back at this time of year again, with the Holiday season upon us. For many people this is a fantastic time of year, and I also see it as a vague form of reflection seeing that it is near the end of the year for many people. My reflections...includes that I love the community here. About half a year ago or more, I was looking for a forum community that was friendly, and its size active but not too large for it's own good. A community where everyone can get to know each other much like a small town...and I've seen it here. This is by far one of the best forum communities I seen in a long time, if not the best period. I have to thank every single user for making that ideology a reality, and I have to say this would not have been possible without our Administrator(s) like Davideo7 and our moderators like Legacyme3 as well as every single person in this community.
In short, I feel honored to have been a small part of it, and I thank you all. I wish everyone here a Merry Christmas, or a Happy Holidays in general.

Merry Christmas everyone! Vizzed could not have done so well without you, the members of this site. I can just tell that it's going to be a great Christmas here! I must thank all those who wrote comments on my reviews and those who rated them (you guys are awesome!). I have only been here for about four months, but I have made many friends, all kind and helpful when I started. I also enjoyed trying to beat others scores on certain games. You guys really do put up a fight.
I enjoyed some of your threads that you have made, and I'll try and make an effort to post more in them. It's the least I could do. So with that, once again Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
totaldramaman2
Merry Christmas to everyone! Also, for those who clebrate it, have a nice Hanukkah. I don't think anyone reading this celebrates Kwanzaa.. never mind. In the past year, I really went from being one of those people who spent all day in the RGR to being one of those people that really gets into the Vizzed community. I hope you have a nice holiday season, and continue to come back to Vizzed! =)
epicpokenerd!
