Normally no snow days exist in our school system. This past year we got lucky, but the last time we had had a snow day before then was... about 10 years prior. I don't think we'll be lucky enough to see another one for another decade.

I live in Jamaica. Its in the Tropic of Cancer. Which means it is in the Tropical climatic zone. So we do not experience snow days here. I have never even come in contact with snow.

Well when I was in school we didn't get any cause I live in Texas and down south it doesn't snow to much. Hell it could be pouring down rain like a monsoon and they still expect you to show up down here.

For snow only, maybe 1 or 2, if that. Lately (last few years), the biggest reason we get out of school is from rain. Floods occur a lot. Didn't happen last year but the year before it did. There are 2 rivers in my school district and if one floods, school is off. These rivers would make it really hard to drive.

tl;dr I don't usually get off for snow, but rain causes about 2 to 3 days off a year. The most I get off total is between 3 to 5.

I used to live in the snowier areas of Canada. I would have blizzards that could kill a person quickly. But guess what? Our school didn't care! They would tell you to get a pair of snow tires, shut up, and get to school! Well, not literally, but that's how you felt. Now that I live in Los Angelos, I doubt we'll have snow. But that's not bad. We won't have to fret about bad weather frequently.

70 years ago, even if it snowed 4 feet, there weren't any snow days. People weren't as soft back then. Since I do all of my school at home, I don't get snow days, sick days, or other days off.

We get very few snow days where I live. If we are really lucky we will get a late start. We actually got a snow day and a late start day last year though. I was pretty surprised and happy that day. But yeah, down in the Portland/Vancouver area we unfortunately don't get very many snow days.

I usually have no snow days or one or two. I live in Georgia, USA and it rarely snows here at all. I remembered it snowed badly in 2011. It covered the whole area of where I live.. It was amazing but they didn't cancel the school day that time. :/
