Pokemon leaf green review   SacredShadow
This is an excellent remake of Pokémon green, it is a lot better and features great graphics and it is an excellent game to play and will leave you with several hours of fun gameplay, It is a much better remake to the Pokémon green game released in Japan alongside of red in 1996. It is enhanced with so many better features, the gameplay is still the same as always, you become a trainer and the master of Pokémon, very simple. This game also adds a lot of extra new features like new Pokémon and new places that weren't originally in Pokémon green that I think are very enjoyable now to the review!
Graphics: 9
The graphics in this game are a big step up from green. They are very clear and they look nice. I think that these graphics are pretty basic for Pokémon games though. The graphics are pretty decent and they are really well made and it is clearly shown that a lot of effort was put into making them which is what makes them so fun and enjoyable to play. Previous generations like Pokémon blue, yellow and green had graphics that were blurry and you could literally count all the pixels on the screen and things were hard to see, Pokémon were fuzzy and there was really little that you could make out and these graphics are definitely a step up from that and they really bring the graphics to a whole new breathtaking level, everything is colorful, clear and invites you to a much better setup and enjoyable gameplay. There is so much effort and dedication put into these graphics that make them so good and they are very well done. I scored the graphics a 9 because they have improved greatly from prior generations and they are very welcoming and clear. So for the time these graphics came out, they were amazing and a big jump from the ones in previous Pokémon games and I still think they are very good.
Sound: 8
Come on now, the sound and music from these Pokémon games are classic, you just grow used to them. Sometimes they can be a little repetitive and maybe even annoying but each town offers little music for you to enjoy and I think that is what counts in the game, and it would be boring if there was no music to travel with or no sound when you are in an epic battle, so I think that the sound is an important part in the game which leads me into scoring it an 8 because the sounds and music is just unforgettable. I think the sounds are another very important part to the game because they get you into the mood to play and Pokémon music in particular really sets up for a good gaming mood and experience. The good sound to a game combined with good graphics are not really required by all games but they make up an awesome extra into making Pokémon leafgreen and all Pokémon games in general so awesome and fun to play.
Addictiveness: 10
All Pokémon games are addicting, the training, the leveling up, all of it is what makes it an addicting Pokémon game. They are some of the most addicting games out there and you will want to play them over again because they are fun, challenging games and they offer so much with all of the new material. All addicting Pokémon games come from a variety of things, good Pokémon, the training and the length and story of the game. After a few minutes of playing this game and getting acquainted with things, you start to lose track of the time and you become absorbed in its awesome gameplay. not all Pokémon games are exactly the same because some offer  different Pokémon, places and characters. But altogether Pokémon games are very addictive and they are the kind of games that are fun for the first time and will make you want to play it again which is why I scored them a 10.
Story: 7
The main story for most Pokémon games start you out as a young trainer and you train to be a master of Pokémon and become the best. There are so many challenges that come in your way, your rivals, the gym leaders and then the elite 4 to become the champion and be the best. The message given through these games are all the same, they inspire you to be the best and make you work hard into achieving that goal and to not stop until you get it. I scored the story a 7 because of the message constantly being given and picked up from these games and make it a good game.
Depth: 10
This game has many things for you to do, from training your Pokémon and leveling them up to completing the pokedex by collecting all of the Pokémon and beating gyms and eventually the elite 4. These games leave you with hours of fun and they aren't the kind of games that you just beat and complete in a matter of a few hours in 1 day. These games leave you with lots to do and a good player takes the time to take everything into account and take it all in to training your Pokémon to their fullest potential and succeeding, and to do that takes time and effort which is exactly what you can be promised to get out of theses games. I scored them a 10 because they bring out the trainer in you with all of the stuff you can do in the game, it is a game that will leave you with lots to do and many hours of fun every time you play.
Difficulty: 4
The difficulty all depends on the way you play the game, if you just take your Pokémon from the start and do the minimal amount of training just to get by, then it probably isn't very difficult for you and you intend to train seriously to get what you want. But then there are some who train extra hard to level up their Pokémon to the very fullest and they get into detail with EV training and gaining effort values from the Pokémon they go against. They level up their Pokémon seriously and they are always looking for the perfect nature and treat everything with great care and they train their Pokémon with great skill and effort backed up with a strategy on everything in the game. it really all depends on the type of Pokémon gamer you are and how you treat the game and how you train your Pokémon that will determine how hard or challenging the game will be. I scored the game a 4 based on how I took it,I play the game with EV training and it pays off in the end because my Pokémon are strong and prepared from all of the hard training I put in to their moves and abilities. The game itself is not extremely challenging and shouldn't be a game that takes weeks to beat from difficulty, it is meant to be enjoyed and taken at a pace where you can take everything in and have fun.
Overall: 10
This game is a great play and also a great remake of the original Pokémon green game. It is fun, offers lots of challenges and lots to do, it is a fun experience for Pokémon fans out there and Pokémon games are just memorable and fun to play, I recommend playing this game because of all of the hours of fun you will be left with when playing it, it is just a great game that really brings out the best in you to be the best. i enjoyed playing this game and I think that this is the game for any Pokémon fans out there.I had no hesitation in scoring this game a 10, it deserved it and I think that this game is one to enjoy from its great improvements in the graphics, game play and all of the extra stuff put in to make it such an excellent game. I recommend this game to Pokémon fans out there and I hope that they can enjoy it!
Well I hope you liked it and if you have any comments, constructive and useful criticism, please post below and tell me what you thought of my review!

Pokemanz Leaf Green   iN008
In 1999 the first batch of pokemon games hit the markets, these games are known to many as Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue which started one of the most popular game series in the history of gaming, but instead of going off and reviewing the original... why don't I review the remakes so here I am reviewing Pokemon Leaf-Green, this game offers a nostalgic sence of the original game as you still experience the same events, encounter the original pokemon and battle the amazing Kanto legendaries. Pokemon is a known franchise to almost every child, teen and adult alike, it has one of the biggest fan-bases of all video game franchises and is popular all over the world. Each new region brings an assortment of fantastic new Pokemon to the table. But today I talk about a remake of the original two games Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. Pokemon Leaf-Green is the third-gen equivalent for the Kanto region, it certainly brings all the charm of the original two games back, but with many new Pokemon, areas and adventures that come with it. As you may or may not know each game in the series of Pokemon games have unique pokemon distributed between the two or three games in the game set, In Fire-Red and Leaf-Green have a total of 45 pokemon split between the two games which you must trade for to obtain along side the usual other two starter Pokemon, in this case either Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. This is the key thing for many Pokemon fans as for picking there choice between the two games ( that is, if they only buy one copy of the two games ). Unfortunately because of this Leaf-Green usually is the least played of the two. Pokemon Leaf-Green managed to get itself into my heart and I'm sure it will get into your heart as-well !

Game-play :
The game-play is to be expected from a Pokemon game... You aim to be the best you can be by catching, training and battling to obtain badges to become eligible to challenge the elite four. The main difference with the third generation from the previous two, is that the EV and IV system changed. This is one of the biggest game-play mechanics of Pokemon and vital for success. The system had been changed from previously being able to completely max out every one of your Pokemon's stats to only being to gain a max 255 Effort Points per stat and you can only gain 510 Effort Values, after which your Pokemon can only gain more stats through leveling up. Heavily effected by their natures. Pokemon may not seem like it on face-to-face value... but you will find, maths is heavily involved.
Because of the new EV and IV game-play mechanism. The games difficulty increased for the hard-core players as they would have to be aware and track what they fought to gain what they saw as the true potential for all Pokemon. This offered a new style for competitive battling making the game more strategic which is one of the best features to be added to the game. Because of the increase of strategy required the most exciting thing to do is competative battling, which sadly on vizzed cannot be experiences as of this moment over net-play.
*HINT HINT FOR DAVIDEO* ... Not like I'm dieing to see if they can manage that or anything.
Graphics : 9 points.
The graphical styling of Pokemon has always been charming and inviting. When you play through a Pokemon game you really can feel the effort they put in to make the game look as best as they could... and in the case of Leaf-Green, the closest to the original as they could.
From the previous two generations the games had a duller game-play feel but as the Game-Boy advance took hold of full color on a hand-held Pokemon sprang to life in full color. Along with the new found full-color the games brought around the pokemon sprites we are now used to. This was a definite change and one for the better, as you can see the Pokemon became brighter and more distinguishable compared to their anime counter-parts. This was one of the biggest changes to have come from the third generation and it was much to the enjoyment of myself, a change for the good of Pokemon. The only other thing I can really say is that you can really feel the love and dedication put into Leaf-Green and that you can really see the visual improvement they managed to achieve.
Sound / Music : 9 points.
Lets face the fact, we've all heard the battle music from Pokemon.. although it can be annoying when zubats annoyingly attack you constantly in Mt. Moon, you cannot deny the care of that went into the composing of Pokemon music. Okay I'll admit it... they didn't really fix Lavender town... but... at least you still had you bicycle! Each location you traveled across gave a little tune for you to enjoy.
Addictiveness / Re-playability : 10 points.
Pokemon definitely stands out as one of the most re-playable game franchises in the history of gaming, you beat the elite-four? go beat them again. You caught all every last Pokemon? Go max them out and use them in competitive battling. There is no limit to what you can do in Pokemon which is one of the strongest points of the franchise. As for this game however, you also get to explore the Sevii Islands.
Pokemon by far offers a lot for the re-playability factor, but what of the addictiveness of Pokemon Leaf-Green?
When you start to play Pokemon Leaf-Green you slowly get absorbed into the story as if you were actually the main character.
You continue to play because the characters in-game experiences and achievements feel like your own. Your effort feels un-wasted as you travel the land and train YOUR Pokemon to their maximum potential. You lose a battle, you feel bad but you get right back up and play like a god to become the very best. Pokemon stands out as an learning experience within a game. Which is a truly marvelous thing indeed.
Each play-though is unique for the franchise as no two Pokemon are the same. Which makes it even more interesting to go back and replay.
Story : 8 points.
In Pokemon Leaf-Green you follow the original story of training yourself up to become the very best you can be and to defeat the elite four is your quest. You challenge your rival as you go from gym to gym battling for the badge you rightfully deserve so you can continue towards your goal of beating the elite trainers of the elite four. The fact of the matter is, even if you think the story is now completely over done... where you planning on training the whole story for a remake of an original game? I think not. Although now it has been done to death, it still has a crucial learning experience for anyone as you must continue if your knocked down and you have to try your very best to get what you want. This sort of message fails to appear in many other game making countries... I mean what valuable life lesson did you learn playing call of duty? To shoot a gun? Doubtful...
Depth : 10 points.
Pokemon Leaf-Green has a vast majority of things to do, from starting to collect every last Pokemon to training them to their maximum potential. The game manages to spread itself vastly taking each moment to make the game more enjoyable to play... for hours on end.
Pokemon games just don't end within a day of playing, they last weeks or even months for the more casual players, which is the true reason for playing Pokemon Leaf-Green. As it offers so much and doesn't force you to play constantly to beat, it can be one of the best games to use as an introduction to video games for anyone.
Difficulty : 5 points.
Pokemon can be for the die-hard or the strategic people within anyone. With many varied ways of playing it's no wonder the game is played by people of all gaming styles. The game can be harder if you want to make it hard for yourself, or easy if you plan ahead and use type-matches. This is an ideal approach to gaming one that is rarely missed, this style can appeal to all types of gamers which is the most brilliant thing about gaming, you may be a casual gamer, but you can still go battle a die-hard poke-fan can't you?
So here I am again on the topic of EV's and IV's, because of this huge change in the third generation, the game added a whole new level of difficulty as the most strategic players would spent more time perfecting there team than casual players which in turn would give them the advantage through-out the game as they're team would be suited to their play-style. This effected Competitive battling tremendously as you would have to train carefully to gain the best potential Pokemon. This was one of the better changes to the difficulty in my opinion it was definitely one for the better as the game became so much more in-depth.
Overall / Conclusion : 10 points.
Pokemon Leaf-Green holds it's own and is a great game for anyone! Each play-though is unique as no two Pokemon are the same.
Leaf-Green definitely has a part of my heart with it and will always been a pleasant memory of my childhood. If you haven't played Leaf-Green or it's counter-part Fire-Red I urge you to do so because It will definitely be worth your time.
Finally Pokemon Leaf-Green offers a vital lesson about believing in yourself to achieve what you want by giving it your very best.

Pokemon Leafgreen   Divine Aurora
I will be making this review of Pokemon Leafgreen a comparison review to the game Pocket monsters Green version because I feel Leafgreen is based off of Pocket monsters green(also Pocket monster is Pokemon in Japan). I know this comparison is unpopular (most believe "most in the United states" believe Pokemon leafgreen is based off of Pokemon blue, sense Pocket monsters green didn't officially release in the United states like Pokemon Red version,  but I WILL NOT ARGUE WITH ANYONE SAYING POKEMON LEAFGREEN ISN'T BASED OFF OF POCKET MONSTERS GREEN VERSION. Pokémon Leafgreen stayed true all the original Pocket Monsters Green Version layout/landscape and gym leader/elite 4 wise, But it does have all  new features  not seen in the original Pocket Monsters Version like islands 1,2,and 3, and how you would go about unlocking mewtwo's cave, and the a(n) all new feature to the franchise it's self, ultimate Pokémon starter type moves(for water starter:hydro cannon, fire starter: blast burn, and grass starter: frenzy plant).
Graphics: 10
"What can be expected out of the graphics portrayed in Pokémon PokemonLeafgreen What has changed with the graphics since Pocket Monsters Green?",Well let's do a recap of Pocket Monsters Green's graphics so that way one can better compare them to Pokemon Leafgreen. The graphics portrayed in Pocket Monster's Green version are rather basic and not very detailed at all. There is no background scenery during Pokémon battle scene's.PokeMon sprites aren't very detailed when facing them in a battle you can hardly make out what the Pokemon are suppose to be but when your the trainer who is battling then the pixels on the Pokémon is a little distorted. The color quality is at the bare minimum piss poor  standard, the towns in the game aren't colored, nor is your trainer or the Pokemon on which you battle with basically everything every object is in black and white with thick black outlines.
Now what has changed you ask?, well the graphics portrayed in Pokemon Leafgreen are a display of beautiful animation. The waves out on the water move, you can see your reflection in small puddles ocean's. The colorization is the most realistic to date, meaning it feels almost real. The Pokémon look almost exactly like how they appear in the pokedex during battle, but with better resolution(pixel wise) and a lot better graphic design and color is evenly distributed through out. The graphics and color on the buildings and in towns have only gotten better and more unique and descriptive. There are no game freezes or crashes nor are the any deformities in the Pokémon spirits. There are two types of grass in the game, tall dark green grass which have stronger leveled Pokémon than normal in them and shorter light greener grass which has generally weaker leveled Pokémon in them, the pixel quality is so clear you can easily tell the difference between the to without even paying to much attention to it.
Sound: 9
"What's the sound quality like in Pokemon Leafgreen?"  well Pokemon Leafgreen's soundtrack is the same as Pocket Monster's green version, but the music does repeat constantly in battle which can get really annoying. The games sound quality its self is fine acoustics and pitch wise with no irregularity's such as sound distortions(unless you are using speed bar), scratches/repetitive beat repeat, or unsuspected stops and pick ups in sound when playing/listening to  the games music. The  pokemon cries are clean cut and what they are suppose to be. Mostly everything in the game has a distinct sound, like for example when you ride on the backs of Pokemon in water the soundtrack changes to a sort of soothing aquatic sound and when you go into caves the soundtrack goes into a deeper some what depressing spooky sound.
Addictiveness: 7
"Just how addicting is Pokemon Leafgreen to play, what will be experienced in the game?",This game is highly addictive because it takes you back to when you were a kid(for you old school Pokémon players) and allows you to play the events in the original Pocket Monsters green version to the T, just with newer, more up to date graphics, and sound quality(Pokémon cries wise). It has a lot of reply value , because it's  in my opinion how a remake of an old school game should be, enjoyable to older players as well as new comers to the franchise. I spent many hours training and basically playing through this game leaving no trainer left battled. The game offers the original Pocket Monsters green's feel but manages to portray the game in a newer more up to date style  graphics with a few significant changes.
Story: 6
"What's the story like in Pokemon Leafgreen?",You are a young 12 year old trainer just starting off on your journey. You awaken in a little town called Pallet town and you get your starting Pokemon from Professor Oak after you blindly walk into a field of grass without a Pokemon. After you head into the next town and get the parcel for the Professor he gives you your Pokedex and you set of on your journey to become a Pokemon master. You will face many challenges on your journey and meet many legendary Pokemon. Your mission and main purpose is to evolve and raise your Pokemon so that way you can take on gym leaders as well as the incredible group of trainers know as the Elite four, while working towards that goal there is a sinister evil organization in the works of Kanto(the region in the game where you are at) that are hell bent on capturing and enslaving Pokemon and using them for evil purposes and it's up to you to defeat the head of this organization. That evil organization known as Team Rocket, there goal is to steal Pokemon and take over all of Kanto.Along your journey you will find there are a ton of legendary Pokemon, like Mewtwo (which his cave is accessible as soon as you beat the elite 4 and have completed the pokedex, unlike in Pocket Monster's green), the three legendary birds can also be caught in this, Articuno, and Zaptoes are at the same area's they would be found in Pokemon Red, but Moltres can be found on island two at mt. Ember instead of where it is found in Red version in Victory road. Also on a side note the game is slightly bigger than Red version, they added 3 islands on to the map,  island one, two and three and Mt. Ember.
Depth: 6
"What's the depth of Pokemon Leafgreen, what does the game offer?"The game offers Pokémon fanatics especially older fans of the franchise to relive a childhood classic Pokemon game in all new full colorization and completely remastered and restored graphics.
Pokemon Leafgreen Version has a moderate amount of activities to do in game, like playing slots for coins in the game corner, or going to the safari zone and capturing Pokemon you wouldn't find in to many other areas in the game(Pokemon like dratini) or fishing in basically any bodies of water, both large and small. The game is at a standard level map proportion wise, there are 10 towns and 1 mountain (Mt. Ember)and 3 islands(island 1,2, and 3).
Difficulty: 5
The games not very difficult at all. Not much has changed difficulty wise from the original Pocket Monsters Green version. The A.I. Is fairly easy to beat if you have the type advantage, you don't really need any Pokémon over level 55 to beat the elite 4(that only applies if your using a well balanced team). The difficulty hasn't changed much from previous installments in the franchise but Pokemon Leafgreen is more difficult than classic Pocket Monsters green version.
Overall: 9.4
This game is probably less favorable then it's counter part Pokemon Firered, mainly because of the fact that Pokemon Firered has slightly better Pokemon that appear in it, but it still is a good game worth the viz to play and it offers different Pokemon that you see in the wild not seen in Firered.

Pokemon Leaf Green   dragon111
Well as you know Pokémon Leaf Green is a remake of Pokémon Red and Blue. It is a awesome game series of the first generation of Pokémon you explore and solve the mysteries of the Kanto region fighting your way through the ultimate challenge facing off with countless battles and most of all beating the evils of team rocket. This is a good and enjoyable game that always pulls me through. Also as for this game it is also I reverse of Pokémon Fire Red. They are the same thing but different as far as the game pak goes. I love this game as much and the elite 4 is good as well you fight Loreli the Ice type trainer, Bruno the fighting type trainer, Agatha the ghost type trainer, and Lance the dragon type trainer. The four battles will end up with one victor whether you win or lose. You will either rise or fall, and if you rise you take on the Pokémon champion and defeat him in close combat and claim the title champion. Also after all is done you have a side quest from the sevii islands which there were seven of them and were built in under seven days. You explore the islands to find a sapphire and a ruby to complete this guy Celio's dream you fight of to teams both of them you should know pretty well the biker gang and team rocket as well. They are after the sapphire and ruby because they had no Idea team rocket disbanded after you jump from Island to island fighting off team rocket you are coming close to something else perfect getting mewtwo. Yes after you finish your side quest the guy standing in front of Cerulean cave won't be there anymore then you can go inside and train and catch mewtwo that is basically the game now here is my review for the game the was just a brief walkthrough.
My overall rating for this game would be a 9.6
The reason for this is the game could offer a little more adventure in the game I could beat this in under 14 ours besides the sevii islands the game is to easy I like the challegening types of games but this is a pretty fun game as well.
The graphic well I gave it a 8
The reason I gave them a 8 is because they are pretty good but how old the game system is it couldn't have best graphics like Nintendo DS Pokémon games. I like these graphics but they can't compare to the newer Pokémon games.
The sound I gave it a 10
It really doesn't matter because music is music right so whats the point I see if you hate it but you hear bad things everyday so this game would be no different than other things you here but I have to say some sounds in this games really make me mad like lavender town song.
Well addictiveness I gave that a 7
I mean like I said earlier the game could've offered more to play on minute you are playing it the other minute you beat like with a snap so I wish this was longer what made it short that is Kanto is a very little region with few towns and cities.
Well the story I gave it a 10
The reason for this is because it didn't matter as long as I enjoyed this game I am ok the game was perfect to me but it could've did better if you ask me but the game is pretty enjoyable and you will love it no dought about it so if you plan on playing this you will be in for it is the perfect game for you if you enjoy Pokémon games a lot.
The dept I gave this a 7
It's a really easy game and not hard to get used to playing so if you are stuck on something you can easily get done with it so common and you would know what to do so it really doesn;t have much to offer you on this.
The difficulty is really a 4
It is so very easy with 3 extra o's to so that's how easy it is it's not the easiest Pokémon game in the world including hacks but it is a really easy game and I know this because I have beat it over and over and over again so it wouldn't;t really be that hard to a ask me why do I think it's so easy well I don't know what kind of Pokémon game this is I love it and sometimes I really like easy Pokémon games because some poke one games are to harsh for me to handle.
Well everyone this is my review on Pokémon Leaf Green hope you enjoy it and the tips I gave as well.

Pokémon - The remake of the first Pokémon   justinfeena1
Pokémon Leaf Green is a remake of the first Pokémon game the Blue Version.
Story:
The story is the same as in the Blue Version. You're a Pokémon trainer who goes on  his adventure through the world of the Pokémon and wants to become a member of the Hall of Fame.
Gameplay:
Pokémon is like an RPG. You choose one of 3 Pokémons at the beginning and later you catch other Pokémons with Poké Balls. You fight with these Pokémons against other trainers and wild Pokémons. For each Pokémon you beat your own one gets experience, gains levels, learns new attacks and evolves. The fights are round-based: you choose an attack (one of the many different ones) then you attack and then your opponent attacks. In the fights you can use items to heal and cure your Pokémons.
Next to the fights you can talk to a lot of people who give you more information about the world and you can collect many many items and Pokémons. There are 150 Pokémons (in this game) you can collect and fight with.
Graphic:
The villages and the world are the same as in the Blue Version but on the graphical level of the Ruby and Sapphire Versions. As well as the graphic there are things like the map which are adopted from the Ruby and Sapphire Version. The graphic itself is fantastic. It's probably the best graphic on GBA. The villages look great and the Pokémons on the Pokédex and in the fights are great animated.
Sound:
The sound is also the same as in the first game. There are some memorable tunes which will not leave you for a long time.
Conclusion:
Pokémon Leaf Green is a great made remake of the Blue Version with the same story and Pokémons from the original but with the graphic and details from the Ruby and Sapphire Version. At the end it's still a great game with cool fights a big world and a paradise for people who like to collect as much as possible. One of the best GBA games!

A few years ago I lost my beloved
Emerald Version to a jerk (sad violin music playing in the background). My brother grew sick of his Firered and
decided to give it to me since I lost my Emerald (thanks Alex!). This is a cut and paste review for Firered
and Leafgreen because the games are almost completely the same.
Story/ Goal: The goal of the game
is to basically go on an adventure working your way to being the best is the
extremely shorted idea of the game.
Now for those who have absolutely
no clue what pokemon is this is what it is; A young boy decides to go on an
adventure and dreams to be the Pokemon Master but on the way he has to confront
obstacles and an evil crime organization named Team Rocket.
Pokemon are magical creatures that
people catch (using pokeballs) and use in battle. Each Pokemon has their own strengths and
weaknesses based on the type they are, it’s almost like a game of rock, paper,
scissors. The most common and most obvious example is the water, fire, grass
combination, water douses fire, fire burns up grass, and grass drains
water. To strengthen your pokemon you
need to battle and battle and battle, there is no other way to get them
stronger (besides one or two exceptions if you are a technical nerd.)
You start off your adventure at the
famous scientist’s lab named, Professor Oak in which he will allow you to
choose one of three pokemon. When you
set out you have two goals: Get all the badges so you can fight the Elite Four
and become the champion, and the second goal is to catch all of the
pokemon.
To reach the top you need to find
and capture pokemon, once you’ve done that and have strengthened them to where
they can challenge the Gym Leaders you go fight the Leaders. You require all eight of the Gym badges but
once you have them all you are given permission to challenge the Elite Four.
Battling is strategy based and doesn’t require any reaction time so no need to
worry about that. When you enter a battle
you are given four choices: run away; which you can’t do at trainer battles and
some other occasions, items; which range from healing your pokemon to catching
the wild pokemon (not trainer pokemon), party; which allows you to see all of
your pokemons’ stats, health, moves, and more, and obviously battle; where you
have a choice of four moves to make your pokemon weaker and/or give you a
higher advantage.
One of the biggest things that
makes this game addicting for many is the concept commonly know as “Gotta catch
em all!”. It’s addicting because other
than having to find pokemon you also have to do two other things to get them
all; first you need to evolve, second you need to trade. Evolving is when a pokemon has become strong
enough it will transform into a stronger form of the original. Also, you need to trade. The way the game and it’s counterpart,
Leafgreen, are set up you need to have both games or you need to find someone
with the opposite game. One game has
some pokemon the other doesn’t and vice versa.
Also for those who have played the
originals, there is an addition to the original story that you will find at the
end of the game.
Graphics:
Though it is obviously improved from older games it’s not quite what I would like
in a new game, especially when the slightly older games Ruby, Sapphire, and
Emerald have a slightly better graphics.
Where there is dust storms and puddle reflections in these game there
are none in Firered and Leafgreen.
However I did notice that (at least for me) the writing in these games
are slightly easier to read and aren’t so sharp and tall.
Sound:
You can now hear the classic pokemon music in an updated version. It would be nice if I could have a little
radio of other games music from the past.
Pokemon cries are still using the same style as the original games and,
frankly, is not what I want.
Addictiveness:
The Pokemon games are probably the most addicting videogames in the world
because of it’s one of a kind play type and idea and for it’s sometimes
frustrating addicting need to catch all
of the pokemon. This will keep you
playing for a very time.

Pokémon Leaf Green Review by TornadoMudkip   TornadoMudkip
This is my 5th Review, please enjoy! This time about Pokémon Leaf Green!
Start: Pokémon Leaf Green is a Remake of Pokémon Green, that is exclusively released in Japan
This game contains the basic that a Pokémon game has, like catch all of the Pokémon and complete the Pokédex, which is 151 Pokémon in this Game (If you beat this Game you can catch even Pokémon from Gen 2 and Gen 3!)
You play in this Game in the Kanto Region like in Pokémon Red and Blue (Green)
The Starters are still Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle! They are good Pokémon if you are a Newbie to Pokémon because all of them learn good Moves and can Level up easy!
The only thing that is new in this Remake is the Sevii Islands!
All of the Characters have a new Design! Like the Main Character from Red and Blue (Green) is look like the Main Character from this Game!
And like always, you can get a Free Potion at the Begin! :)
First the Graphics: The games looks good, the Houses, Trainers, Gyms and much more!
Pokémon Sprites are good Designed and not to Big or Small! I like them, most of the Pokémon are looking cool and cute!
The Colours of the Pokémon's are better then that from Red/Blue (Green) The colours are looking more beautiful!
Through the Cheerful Colours in the Game, the Game makes me Happy!
The Graphics are good, I'll give a 9.
Second the Sound: I really love this Sound, it's just a Remake from the Sound of R/B (G)
The Sound is so Classic and Nice to hear! Why? The Tunes are a good Remake! Only I hate the Music from Lavender Town, it's so creepy!
Lucky that you can get a Bicycle, that Music is Nicer to hear!
Each Location that you traveled gave a little Tune for you to enjoy!
The Pokémon Cry's are Nice to hear to! Why? The Sounds aren't to high!
I'll give a 9
Third the Addictiveness: This Game is really fun to play!
If you Lose a Battle you can try it again! If you beat the Elite Four + Champion, you can try it again!
You can always try to Catch all of the Pokémon! + the Sevii Islands that you can explore, you can do a lot and automatic you play this Game again and again! You can really enjoy this Game! Because the reasons what I write here above!
I'll give a 9
Fourth the Story: The Story is great!
The Story is the same as Pokémon Red and Blue (Green), the only thing that is different is that there is in this Game the Sevii Islands!
In Pokémon Leaf Green you follow the original story of training yourself  to become the very best Trainer! You can be if you defeat the Elite Four + Champion and Catching all of the Pokémon is your quest. You challenge your Rival as you go on your Adventure, sometimes he challenge you to a Battle! He's pretty strong! Watch out to the End of this Game!
In this Game you can defeat 8 Gyms and you can earn Badges! + you can beat Team Rocket in this Game!
That's amazing! You can do for sure a lot in this Game!
It deserves a 10!
Fifth the Depth: This Game is not to long and not to small! It fits perfectly for length!
Like what I said in the Story: You can defeat 8 Gyms and Elite Four + Champion and much more! < Like in a Original Pokémon Game!
You'll play this Game a lot, that's for sure! Why? It has a lot of things to do! Like what I said at the things above!
That's making a Pokémon Game fun! I'll give a 9
Sixth Difficulty: This Game isn't hard to beat! Why? Because the most Trainers aren't strong!
If you're a Starter to Pokémon, this Game suits perfectly for you!
Even if you're someone who loves/known to Pokémon! This Game is fun!
Everyone loses sometimes a Battle! That's okay because if you don't give up you can win this Game!
I'll give a 6
Overall: This Game is a good Remake of Pokémon Green (Red and Blue) Because this is more Modern and it has more good things in it!
All the things what I said above is the thing what I think of this Game! That's all what I have to say!
If I was you, I should play this Game! It's worth playing!
I'll give a 9,2! It deserve it! :D
So this was my 5th Review, I hope you liked it! ;)

Barathemos' Pokémon Leafgreen review   Barathemos
Barathemos' Pokémon Leafgreen review
This is what I think.
First of all, I will be making a review of Pokémon Leafgreen for you. This game, I have to say, does have some flaws. Like I say with all of my Pokémon reviews: If you have not played a Pokémon game before, be careful  reading this review, if there is something you have not seen before than stop at that time and just go and do something else. To get back to the game I am doing a review on. In Pokémon Leafgreen there lots of factors that will help pull up the average score, and there are things that will pull it down. First, I will give this game an overall rating of a 9.5. I do think that with all of its flaws it is still able to get a high grade. Before I go on, I will tell you that I may say some things that fans of the game do not like, please do not mind, this is just my opinion.
Graphics: 8
I think that this game is why ahead of its time with graphics. The graphics were very good compared to Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. It seems as if the graphics doubled when this game came out compared to the first few games. When you add in all of the factors that it took to make the graphics look this good, it is quite impressive how they did that kind of greatness so early in video games. Do not post and say, oh Black Ops is sooooo much better, because I know that. If I were comparing this game to modern games than I would give it a one, but look at what time period this game came in! Why don't you compare this game to other game boy games? What I am trying to say is that this game looks a lot better than games of its time, but of coarse it is worse than some MW3 or whatever.
Sound: 10
By sound, I think of the battle music. When you think of sound in Pokémon games, do you think of the city, Pokémon center, or do you think of the battle theme for Lance, Team Plasma? If I were to pole this it would probably come out to 19 to 1 for battle music, so this is what I will base it off of. Some themes in this game are kinda lame, such as the wild Pokémon battle after the five-hundredth time. Some are good, such as the battle theme for the Champion, his is just awesome. When you want me to throw in routes and that kind of trash, it will not effect it very much. Overall sound; not so bad, actually it is great!
Addictiveness: 10
In one line, I will say, you will play this game again. I just can not settle on saying just that. Once you get to playing this game you will not want to stop until you are done, this is a very hard task. Playing this game with make you feel good, so why stop a good feeling? This game has many parts that will just pull you in and keep you there. With so many things to do, that don't get boring very easily, you will want to keep playing this game. It is just that fun. his game has a lot to offer, which I will get to later in Depth, that will keep you wanting to play until you just can not play any more. This sound weird but it is just so true. This game will suck you up and never spit you out.
Story: 8
The story in this game is not as good as it could, but I am not calling it bad. It is just like any other Pokémon game, you are a boy/girl on your what 10th birthday and you go out to get your starting Pokémon. After that the main point of the game is to catch every Pokémon, which gets harder the more Pokémon that come out, and train them to level 100 in order to defeat the elite four and the champion. This, I would say, is basically the main theme of Pokémon and it is just stuck at that. You also have to defeat Team Rocket in this game, and that is kind of a side story that ties into the main story. I am so glad that this game does have a story, some games I have played do not even have a story! What I am trying to say is that this is a great game that has something to do.
Depth: 10
As any other Pokémon game, there is a lot of things to do. First is completing the game. This will take you a long time to do, by this I mean training you team/teams strong enough to defeat the elite four and the champion. That is just the basics of the game, there is a lot more. Remember how I said that you train your Pokémon to level 100 in order to fully complete the game? Well what I mean is that you start with a level 5 starter that you have to train, it is easy at first but than in the 20's gets harder. Now try doing this with over 100 Pokémon, with 100 than that would be 1,000 levels. That is not easy, it may even take 500 hours!
Difficulty: 8
This game is hard. This game has many components that make it hard. First, it is a Pokémon game so it will be hard. Second, there are so many times where it is just like a super hard puzzle than you have to go to YouTube to figure out. This game has the Cerulean Cave, which I still don't know how to get into. This game is not to easy, but it is not to hard. This game is not as hard as something like Megaman but not as easy as say, Pokémon Pinball.
Overall this is a great Pokémon, not just Pokémon but a good game in general. After looking at all of the flaws that this game has the good parts that  help you overlook all of the flaws. Overall I will give this great game a 9.5. Hope you liked it!

Pokemon Leaf Green   mlb789
Pokemon Leaf Green is, contrary to popular belief, the remake of Pokemon Green, which was exclusively released in Japan.  In this game, you get so much more, basically because you have this being after Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, so being able to link with these games is only possible by altering the story a little more.  For example, you  can now play on the Sevii Islands, which you could never do in the other games.  You also have the ability to breed, which was only introduced later in the Pokemon series, not in the first generation.
This game still contains the basic tools that a Pokemon game has, such as how you are able to catch them all, which is 150 Pokemon (even though technically you cannot catch Mew, who is Pokemon 151).  You also have to fight the gyms to get to the Elite Four, where you can finally face your rival and take the place as the top trainer in the region.  But, this game introduced the multi region system, since technically the Sevii islands are not part of the Kanto region.  Overall, you still get the basics of the Pokemon games, but you get these new features that you had never seen before in a Pokemon game.

Graphics 7:  This game is a little above average in the graphics department, just because you can still see the pixels of the game.  I actually like Pokemon Emerald's graphics better, which should make sense because I believe it was made after Leaf Green and Fire Red.  The graphics are not as bad as the Backyard Sports series, where you can never see the ball because it is really just one giant pixel (the Backyard series were actually released after this game, so you can tell that Game Freak really cared about this game).

Sound 8:  This game gives you the traditional basis for most of the sounds, which are really cool.  Considering the technology they had back then, the sound was actually quite advanced.  For example, the sound is now less scratchy than in Green, Blue, and Red, which shows the level of improvement over the course of about 10 years.

Addictiveness 10:  As with all Pokemon games, this game was very addictive.  For example, I got grounded once in my life, and that was only because I tried to sneak this game into bed with me so I could play instead of sleeping.  I literally could not put this down, and it annoyed me that I was wasting battery life whenever I had to stop abruptly and could not save the game.  You should have trouble being able to put this game down, especially if you are a hardcore Pokemon fan, just because the game is that good.

Story 8 :  There really isn't a diverse story to Pokemon games, unless they are one of the spinoffs.  I would really like to see a different storyline in Pokemon than just the usual something bad has happened and an evil organization has taken over the Pokemon universe and now you must stop it.  In this game, you are pitted, once again, with the illustrious team rocket, who tried to take over the world ten real life years earlier in Red, Blue, and Green.  At the end of the game, there is a different story about the Sevii Islands, where you have to get some jewels to be able to trade with Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.  I really don't get why they don't just let you trade directly with Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire right away, basically because they let you trade right away in the new games.  Maybe they got so many complaints about the old system that they had no choice but to change it.

Depth 10:  As with all Pokemon games, this game is very deep.  You have the ability to catch, raise, and trade one hundred and fifty Pokemon in the game, and there are more after you complete the main game to collect.  This is one of the first games where you get a National Dex to collect new Pokemon in, which is a very good improvement to the series.  You also get to beat eight gyms, and then you get to beat the Elite Four as much as you want.  You can also set goals for yourself, such as seeing all the parts of the Map of Kanto or maybe even training one hundred Pokemon to level one hundred.  Nevertheless, you will always have something to do in this game, making this game an easy ten in the Depth department.

Difficulty 6:  This game is one of the more difficult Pokemon games, unless you grind all the time like I did recently on my vizzed saving.  The only reason this game should be really hard is if you try to nuzlocke the game, which is something I do not recommend, mainly because you can rage so much when you do that and have to start over all over again a lot when you attempt to do it.  This game is also one of the more harder games because the gyms are at higher levels than what games such as Silver and White are at today.

Overall 9.8:  This game gets a very high score mainly for the reason that it is one of the more well done remakes we have seen the Pokemon world do in a while.  For example, they remade the system of trading so that you are able to trade with the new games Ruby and Sapphire.  This is also the first time you have seen shiny Pokemon in a Kanto region game, which answers the question of what do Kanto Pokemon look when they are shiny.  This game is also rated high on my chart because it was actually the first video game I ever played, which is pretty interesting since I started when I was 6.  I would recommend this game to anyone who likes Pokemon or just wants to experience Pokemon for the first time.

Good game   mangofruit
This is my review for Pokémon Leaf Green version.
The game is a re-made game of the Pokémon Blue version. It has quite same story as Blue version, except there was no such thing as Sevii Islands in Blue, and some other little things.
First some positive things. I liked that the Pokémon had the gender's, more attacks and there were more item's. The running shoes were also useable. It's also nice to navigate easily in the bag, where the items are categoried in 3 categories. The graphics are good, I think.
Second some negative things. I think the game was way too easy, the only tough foe's were the members
of Elite Four. The rival was not tough at all: I beat all his Pokémon
only by using one hit per Pokémon. And I also spotted something few days ago: the emulator says that "Saved State Uploading Failed!", even though it doesn't fail - if you just press F2 more than that one time. And the most annoying thing: you can't continue after you've beaten Elite Four + rival. It's so sad, because If you can continue, you would get to explore rest of the Sevii Islands + the Cerulean Cave.
Altough the game is quite good, so I rate it 9.5.

Pokemon Leaf Green Review   tgags123
I'm going to start off by saying that this review may contain spoilers. Any spoilers will be written in blue.
Overall (9.4)
Pokemon Leaf Green is the less popular of the two Generation 1 remakes.
In this game you explore the Kanto Region, catching and training Pokemon
as friends and battle partners. You travel around from city to city
defeating the gyms and getting badges, and eventually go on to challenge
the Pokemon League. You also have to save the world from an evil
organization known as Team Rocket.
Graphics (10)
The graphics in this game are very good. They are the same style as
Pokemon Red and Blue (Green in Japan), only enhanced and in full color.
The Pokemon sprites in this game are very detailed, unlike the blobs of
pixels in Generation 1. Each Pokemon also gets its own picture when
viewing your Pokemon or the PC. In Red, Blue, and Green, Pokemon with
the same body type had the same picture.
Sound (9)
Let's be honest - you love the music in Pokemon. Sure it can get
annoying at times, such as the battle music (when you run into a Zubat
every 3 steps in a cave), or the high pitched beeps in Lavender Town,
but overall, the music and sound effects are very good for a Game Boy
Advance game.
Addictiveness (9)
This game is very addictive. It's the only game I got a level 100 Pokemon on (without cheating) because I just couldn't put it down. Once you start playing you won't be able to stop. I know from experience.
Story (9)
This game follows the classic story. You want to be the very best, like no one ever was. You have a very rude rival who thinks he's so cool because his grandfather is Professor Oak. You explore the Kanto region training your Pokemon and catching new ones. You stop at every city along the way to challenge the gym. Once you collect all 8 gym badges, you challenge the Pokemon League. You win and become the champion, while your rival sits at home and cries (just kidding about that last part). Of course, every game has its villains. There is a group of evil-doers called Team Rocket that wants to collect rare and powerful Pokemon and take over the world. You encounter Team Rocket throughout the game and stop their attempts at robbery, kidnapping, or whatever they may be trying to do. Eventually, you challenge the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni. You beat Giovanni and destroy Team Rocket. WARNING! SPOILER ALERT! You also discover who the leader of the abandoned Viridian City gym is - Giovanni himself.
Depth (9)
There is always something to do in this game. You can go to the Sevii Islands, catch Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Mewtwo, breed your Pokemon, or do whatever you want. I promise that you will never be bored while playing this game.
Difficulty (6)
Pokemon games are often very easy. Leaf Green is no exception. You should be able to breeze through the gyms, easily thwart Team Rocket (and their millions of Zubats), and beat the Pokemon League after only a few tries. I do not recommend this, or any other Pokemon game, if you are looking for a challenge.
Pokemon Leaf Green is a fun game that follows the classic storyline, only with better graphics, better sound, and more to do. I strongly recommend this game, unless you are looking for a challenge. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Pokemon Leaf Green   polo5885
Hey guys welcome to another one of my game review! I will be review another Pokémon game called Pokémon Lead Green. It is a pretty good Pokémon game and was the first Pokémon game I ever played and I really enjoyed it and I hope you guys love it too!
Graphics 9 - Good sprite animations and graphics have a little bit of detail could of added a little more. Animations are good the different attacks and the different animations are great and overall I can say that it has fine graphics so I give this a 9.
Sound 8 - Good soundtrack somewhat catchy I like the Lavandertown music. It has good battle music that's always been a good to Pokémon games but it can sometimes get repetitive. It has different Pokémon sounds and overall its not that bad so I give this an 8.
Addictiveness 8 - Very fun I really enjoy all of the different things you can do in this. I cant put this game down until I beat the next gym leader or beat the elite four or even to catch a legendary Pokémon it is very amusing and addicting, so for that I gives this an 8.
Story 9 - It has a great story, mainly trying to fill your pokedex and catching every different unique Pokémon is the greatest aspect to it but they add much more than. Side things is also great about open world games like this like you don't even have to follow the story line if you don't want to you can just train your Pokémon or just catch some as well so this deserves a 9.
Depth 10 - It has amazing depth to it. It gives you a lot of options to do and that's what Pokémon games are mainly about really they add a lot of depth to these games so I can say this is a perfect 10.
Difficulty 5 - Not that hard really and very simple catch and train, catch and train is all you have to really to beat gym leaders and other trainers so it really isn't that difficult and controls are very simple as well nothing to new so I can say the difficulty is a 5.
Overall 8.8 - Overall I think this game is really great to people who are new to Pokémon and for people who have been playing this game for ever it can bring back nostalgic feelings so its a 8.8
Thanks for reading and I hope you agree with my reviews comment on which game I should try next or just add feedback Thanks again and see you next time.

Great Game   Mightymaster
This is the absolute best game I ever played. I feel that this game is very easy and the only thing that would make it easier is the Sevii island quest. Also, the battle graphics could only be better if the Pokémon keep moving. I can't think of a better game (apart from the 5th generation). I especially like the addition of speeding up the game, because I'm trying to type a guide as I play. I can think of a 1,000 words to describe this game. They say "if you can't say anything good, don't say anything" so I would make this very long, but I don't have the time.

Leaf Pokemon Review   Poppy5845
Pokemon Leaf Green is a portable remake of the game boy 1998 version of Pokemon red and blue Pokemon is a role playing game where the main character is on a quest to master the pokedex and collect all the gym badges .
Graphics:The graphics in leaf green and fire red are slightly altered from Pokemon red and blue with extra environment add- ons like bookcases, the sprites are really good for the game compared to red and blue and also there is also color in leaf green and fire red.So that is why I rate graphics a 8.
Sound:The sound of this game is a slightly altered version of Pokemon red and blue but it sound very good in many parts of the Pokemon world but other parts of the Pokemon world I just with they switched it just a little bit.So this is why I rate sound a 9.
Addictiveness: Pokemon games are supposed to be very addicting because its going to take you a while just to complete the pokedex and there are exclusive Pokemon so you have to find someone with the opposite version of those games and trade. Also get all the gym badges and there is local multiplayer so its hard to get bored of the game. So that's why I rate addictiveness  a 9.
Story:The story is you've got a quest to complete the pokedex for prof.oak and get all the gym badges but you've got a rival who also wants to become the best so you go on the adventure of your lifetime. So that's why I rate story a 9
Depth: This game is extremely in depth because there so much to do like training, batting, shopping, gambling and so much more to do.This game has about 30 hours of game play in this game.So that is why I rate depth an 8.
Difficulty:If you know how to play Pokemon games than Pokemon games aren't that hard it just requires a lot of concentration, planing, strategy  and other things that make the difficulty of this game a 6.
Overall:This is a game with a lot of usen  potential  and a very good musical, graphical and informational game that is very fun and very addicting to play and have fun.

Pokemon Leaf Green Review   SmobblePants
~Pokémon Leaf Green~
Pokémon Leaf Green Is a fun amazing addicting game! With Professor Oaks men giving you items of how many Pokémon you have, from the tough rival and gym leaders. This remake of Blue is the best! I do have Leaf green, but I picked Squirtle on Vizzed Board I used Bulbasaur.Currently I'm on victory road with my unstoppable team. The Legendary on hear are just the same as blue, the only
Legendary I have caught are Zapdos, Mewtwo, and Articuno. When I first played this game it was hard for me but sooner as I progested I was getting better and better. I do reconfigured this game to others. I hope you will enjoy this game.
Overall is a 10: The best remake other then blue was awesome also.
Graphics is a 6: Pokémon was a big issue to me. The Charizard in here had 4 teeth when its head was in the air it border me, of how it looked so ugly :l. Also the back side does not look awful just that Game Freak should had did a little more detail. The shading of the Pokémon was white and it was like sunny outside I guess? Because its like a reflect towards onto the Pokémon. But other graphics of the buildings and everything else is great.

Sound is a 7: Unlike the other Pokémon games this games sound was a bit bad. I didn't like most of it.
Addictiveness is a solid 10: This game made me come back after I toke a break from it. I couldn't hold back on leveling up my Pokémon and learn new moves, also meeting and beating new charticters in the game. Plus I could not just stop after I had my 6th gym badge :P
Story is a 8: Does not give more of a story that brings everything together like sort of a puzzle.
Depth is a 7: Just does not offer more in the game like the 3 islands. Just that the cities look long apart but turns out they are close together. On the 3 Islands they were very small for giving more of a adventure.
Difficulty is a 6: The gyms your rival and the eltle 4 was the hardest in the game. Trainers were mostly where you could train your Pokémon so you could beat the eltle 4. This game overall is an epic amazing adventure of a young boy setting off into a world he does not yet know of.

Leaf Green Review   achyboy777
I really enjoyed playing Pokémon Leaf Green, it is an addictive, fun and enjoyable game and would recommend it to all of you. It is a remake of Pokémon Green (For the Game Boy) and they have done really well. Obviously it was going to be better than the original as the Game Boy Advance is (as its name suggests) a lot more advanced than the Game Boy.
Graphics - 8/10
The graphics are very good and I prefer them to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. However I also prefer them to the later released Pokémon Emerald for the in game play. On the other hand, the Pokémon sprites are quite inconsistent. For example the Pikachu sprite is huge, standing up and looks like it was from a few generations earlier.
Sound - 6/10
The weakest area of the game. I was very disappointed with the music while in areas which was not very impressive. The worst part was the noise the Pokémon make when you find them in the wild. HORRIFIC! On the flip side however, I did like the music in battles with Legendary Pokémon, but although it was good, nothing special.
Addictiveness - 9/10
The game is very addicting and I would definitely restart my file and play again. The gyms are fun and the variety of different Pokémon is also a big plus. At times I would get home and immediately turn on the laptop to play this and I'm sure you will do the same once quite far into the game. The only reason it is not ten is the sequence after the 7th gym (I won't tell you so I don't spoil it).
Story - 7/10
The story is good but not brilliant. Like all Pokémon games you are set of on your amazing journey to defeat all the gyms and become the Champion, however there are some bumps along the road. In this game your rival is Gary (or whatever you decide to call him) and you will battle him throughout the game in various locations. Also the evil Team Rocket are once again attempting to take over the world (or some such thing). Overall the story is good and I especially like the secret of the 8th gym (you'll have to find it out for yourself).
Depth 8/10
There is a lot to do in this game especially in the post game. The main game does not take that long to complete (if you know what your doing) however I have given this an 8 due to the number of Legendary Pokémon available. You can find Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos pretty easily however more are also available including Mewtwo and one of Raikou, Entei and Suicune (depending on your starter). Also the Battle Tower is a fun way to use up the day.
Difficulty 5/10
Not much to say really. Pretty easy to complete the game however some areas have a lot of trainers in them. The fact that I never lost a battle (which is quite rare) speaks for itself.
I have given this game a 9.1 and I know that does not reflect the average of all my scores however I do not believe they tell the whole story.

Pokemon Leaf Green Review   bsubroncos11
I want to give this game a quick review just to voice my opinion about a pretty good game
Overall a 9.1 is a fair grade it falls flat in a few areas but the other areas when they are awesome more than make up for it.
Graphics: Great for the Gameboy Advance but remember graphics arent very important on a handheld console like this it's mostly about core gameplay that keeps you going however I feel the character models could've been done better i understand its top down and not a powerful machine but really?
Sound: One of the best on the Game Boy Advance but that is not saying much since it's not a great sound system since im comparing it to game boy advance games i have to give it a ten
Addictiveness: It's a Pokemon game level up your Pokemon and keep playing very very addictive some times i play for over an hour i have completely lost track of time.
Story: Story has never been an integral part in a pokemon game since its sort of a go at your own pace game story isn't an issue here but this may be where it falls short a bit.
Depth: This game immerses you into a world of pokemon so it's a huge game with so much to do it could take well over 12 hours to beat if you do all you can and it's almost a precursor of sorts to the modern open world game where you do things as you feel unlike zelda I when your almost always on your toes killing every single screen.
Difficulty: Not a lot to say here pokemon games rarely are hard since its a family friendly game and does it well very, very well. However it's one of he easiest games i've ever played equivalent to playing Madden on rookie difficulty you beat the other team by about 100 points it just gets not fun. Pokemon makes it fun in an addictive i got to catch em all sort of way a lot of depth in it makes it much more enjoyable for everyone who plays such a great game like this

Pokémon LeafGreen Review   Tekky7
Wow. Where to begin? This is one of the most entertaining, addictive, and challenging Pokémon
games I've ever played and still will play. The amazing graphics (my
favorite in the Pokémon series), new islands, and other additions
have made this Pokémon one of my favorites. New aspects and
changes, such as moving Moltres to it's own dungeon instead of
Victory Road, running shoes, move tutors, and breeding were made and
only enhanced my opinions of Kanto from the original Red and Blue. I
cannot forget mentioning the trading system. Now you can trade with
Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Colosseum, as long as you have the first
gym badge. While all these changes and more have been added, I would
have to say the biggest change from Red, Blue, and Yellow is the
shiny Pokémon. Nothing makes me happier in Pokémon than to see a
little sparkle and discoloration when I enter a battle. While
extremely fun and hooking, the game was, and still is, in my opinion,
the absolute hardest Pokémon game ever made. I mean, Kanto's Elite
Four has been seriously revamped, back and better than before. All
and all though, this game is great. I hope you enjoyed this game as
much as I did and still do.

Pokémon Leaf green-
Overall-
9.4.
Graphics-
Good graphics. I never find any glitches.
Sound-
6.
Some of the towns or routes are annoying. Some of them give me a headache.
Addictiveness-
7. I never usually play this, but if I'm bored,I play this on my Nintendo DS. You know, just something to do.
Story-
9. 8 gyms,Elite Four,Victory Road,Just the same as Fire red pretty much.
Depth-
7.I do not have much information about Depth. I really do not.
Difficulty-
5. Victory Road was the real pain-in-the-butt. Elite Four was not that much "hard" I'd rather say "intermediate".
Blabbering about the game-
8 gyms, Victory Road, when you reach the Pokémon League champion, surprisingly,Gary is the Champion!
That's it!

Pokemon LG review   BulbASour666
Here it is Bulbasaur's main game I don't remember exactly how many times
I have played this but I'm gonna do my review (what I think of this)
     Graphics 8/10
The
Graphics for this game are great the only thing about it is that they
have almost the same screen as the place you go to example professor
oaks lab when you get next to door it shows inside the lab  so if that
would be fixed this part would deserve 10/10 for my opinion.
         Sound 7/10
The Sound is the most important of them all but my opinion its the worst for example it keeps the sound for the whole place like in lavender town in the mansion when you walk in it always has the same sound until you go fully out.
Addictiveness 10/10
I have maybe played this game at least  5-7 times and beat it cause I would restart my data to me I just think that everyone who haven't played this game should play it to try it out:).
Story 9/10
I think the story is really good with actually fighting oaks grandson (blue) but the only thing is they don't really make the champ/elite 4 say anything cool.
Depth 7/10
After the whole game the only things to do are get legends (if u didn't already get them)and face the elite 4 again and again every thing else is before and is great!
Difficulty 4/10
This game is not difficult at all except maybe elite 4 and champ but other wise this game is easy.
When you comment on this tell me if I have to put the overall and ill edit it
Thanks

Pokemon Leaf Green Version   supercool22
Pokémon Leaf Green is the best game I ever played. A lot more people play Pokémon Fire Red but there both the same kind of game.Basically you start with three starters Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur. Also the  type pokemon you pick determines the type of pokemon your rival picks , if you pick a fire type pokemon your rival will pick a water type pokemon , or a grass type pokemon your rival will pick a fire type pokemon and if you pick a water type pokemon your rival will pick a grass type pokemon. Thats all I'm going to wright ,good luck on your adventure.

Pokemon Leaf Green Cheat Codes

Bypass Cycling Road Guard

To get onto the Cycling Road without needing a Bicycle, simply hold Left while the guard warns you that you must have the Bicycle to enter Cycling Road. (If you already obtained the Bicycle, this still works if the Bicycle is in the PC.) In doing so, you will bypass the guard; if you continue onto Cycling Road, you'll still ride a bike.

Duplicate Pokemon!

You need a link cable, 2 pokemon games, and 2 gameboys for this trick. On 1 gameboy, have a strong pokemon that you both want. On the other, have a weak pokemon that your willing to give up for the other one. Enter Trade mode and trade pokemon. On gameboy 1 (the one with the good pokemon), turn off the gameboy right before it says ''Trade Complete!''. The 2nd GB should say ''Trade Complete!'' on it. If done correctly, the bad pokemon on GB 2 should be deleted and replaced with the good pokemon. The good pokemon on GB 1 should still be there.

Making Items more than 100!

You need the HM Fly and Surf to do this glitch. Put the item you want to duplicate in the sixth slot of your inventory.

Go/fly to Viridian. Talk to the old man that ask you if you're in a hurry at the beginning of the game. Say no. Watch him show you how to catch a Pokemon.

Now fly to Cinnabar Island and surf on the right edge of the island. You should be able to battle a weird Pokemon called MissingNo. It's appearance is kind of weird. Don't let it attack you or don't capture it or it will ruin your game! Just run or beat him with powerful quick attacks.

After that, look at your sixth item and there should be a weird symbol next to it. Don't worry, it only means that you have more than 99 of it.

Get through grassy areas without a single random encounter.

Once you've obtained the HM Cut you can use it to teach some of your pokemon the attack of the same name.
This ability now cannot only be used to cut down certain trees but also to get rid of any grass so you don't have to bother with any random encounters.
When saving and loading or leaving and reentering the area you used cut in, the grass will have returned.

Infinite Steps in Safari Zone.

This trick is very simple. Find a patch of grass in there. Stand in it and just tap the directional pad lightly just so you would turn without walking. You should encounter a pokemon and catch it if you would like.
