So as a high school teacher, I don't have a lot of time for hobbies (especially when the school where I teach is an hour from where I live). I have always had a talent in drawing, but rarely drew because it takes me a LONG time to finish a single drawing. But I have found a new medium that has really caught my interest. Dry erase marker on a whiteboard. When I first started, everything was solid black and white. But over some time, I learned how to get gray out of black markers, so I was able to work on making them more complex with each new drawing. I do one dry large dry erase picture on my board at the end of each school semester. My more recent ones take too long to do more than that (my most recent too about a month and a half to complete). Anyway, here they are, in order form which I did them. So they start simple, but get better as it gets further along.

After I learned to shade with my black markers

This is breathtaking! I was glad to see drawings of Yoda and Darth Vader. I can imagine those take a long time to complete and aren't easy with dry erase markers.

Another type of art I think is really cool is chalkboard art. My church has a giant chalk drawing with block letters and many colors in the student ministries room. We leaders always get mad when students try to mess with that :/
