Looks like pursuing a posting milestone yesterday gave off some results. I ended up tied with David on posts, just one more and I'd have placed in Blue, which is a rarity for me.

The numbers went down a bit, I hope the competition doesn't start dying down this early. Still, we have no clear dominator yet, which is always good to see in order to grant an open competition between many different users. It also means that there won't be any accidental top 10s this time due to many people earning points, but we could see some surprises throughout the month.

thing1 : The 50% rule for words in the final hour is there, but there's no rule about percentage of posts made in the last hour. Only a limit on percentage of posts in specific forums. The reasoning is that the yellow jersey can be abuse by writing up really long posts, saving them and then posting them within the final hour or final minutes of the day, where a sudden post spree at the end of the day give more of a chance to react and keep your lead.

I've been bad about not keeping track of the results throughout the day when I'm competing. That would probably help a lot, although I'm still doing pretty good anyway.

I'm just thinking about how funny this is. My first rainbow banner was an unexpected surprise, and here I am posting my butt off like never before trying to keep it for as long as possible without letting it get in the way of real life. I never thought this would happen, even if this was a more inactive TdV (which it isn't yet).

I was surprised when I saw my line on graph the other day on the TdV results page and it looked like that XD I thought it would be a little less steady. That was a good surprise though.

It's nice to see the blue jersey and yellow jersey so active, unlike what I'm used to seeing. Keep it up, guys! We may be competing against each other but we're teaming up to revive the Vizzed Board, starting with this month!

I find the Red DQ to be unfair, as it may have seemed like I was abusing CP, but in reality I was just answering Bible questions, which I have access to 96 of, and I got 48 CP right off the bat from it, while also listening to game music in the background and rating it when I remembered, and I rated screenshots, videos, reviews, and games after I was done with the Bible questions. Well, it felt good to post like that for 5 days straight. Until today, I managed to hit the italic username every day. But starting yesterday, it became a huge struggle. Today, since I was busyness, I figured I'd post much less.

It's that time where there aren't enough new threads left for me to post in, and I don't want to keep posting in the same ones except my own threads. It just feels wrong and like a waste of time. I think that since this weekend will be more busy, I'll have to shift my focus over to CP and have more fun.

It ain't easy being green... and blue and orange and red.

I guess it doesn't help me that my internet connection has mysteriously dropped all the way to 0.60 Mbps (It's supposed to be at 100 Mbps). Guess I have to complain again.

Leggy makes an interesting point, because we have 5 non-staff members in the top 10. It's extremely rare to find half of the top 10 formed by non-staff members in recent years, even less when we're nearing the first week of competition.

Looks like 2017 may bring some changes after all, we already had the first non-staff winner since Summer 2013 earlier this year and this TdV could probably produce another one plus a few top 10s. Now we only need a white banner holder to make it complete, and hope said holder actually stays active without being banned, if it's not too much to ask

Leggy makes an interesting point, because we have 5 non-staff members in the top 10. It's extremely rare to find half of the top 10 formed by non-staff members in recent years, even less when we're nearing the first week of competition.

I just now got online to compete for the day with an hour and a half left. It was a busy day filled with family errands rewarded by friend time mini-golfing and go-karting afterwards. It felt good to take more time off the TdV, but I'm back to get a few points before I relax for the night.

By the way, I finally got the fire jersey! (yellow and red) Game reviews really help with CP and words.

So, after competing for a day as a Vizzed Elite I understand the issue with red and green so much better. It makes winning either one SO much more difficult than being site staff or higher. Something needs to change in that regard. When I was admin I had nearly no limit on a lot of the actions that I could do which meant that getting green was super easy and winning red with a strong review was also pretty easy.
