Okay, so I literally just became a Normal Member, but I've been registered since 2013; I just forgot about the website. I am so glad that I found it again and I love the new updates, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. In the little amount time of time I've been here, I have noticed that this site is struggling to gain and even maintain members. To give back to the site for what it has given me, I plan on doing whatever I can to prevent this site from dying and to do whatever it takes to gain Vizzed popularity. I only wish I could donate, but my parents' budget is tight at the moment and they won't let me spend any of my savings account money. ;( The reason I think Vizzed is declining is that of the communication mainly; I feel like new members and guests view the threads as pretty outdated and I kinda do myself....but it's okay!! My plan was to kickstart Vizzed's comeback by developing a Discord server for it just for communication!! That'll make it way easier for everyone to stay up to date and I guess new guests will view it as a more "modern form of communication". That's only the beginning, however, and I WILL listen to all suggestions and advice from all you experienced members here. If you have any more ideas on how to spread the word and how to modernize the site a bit, please let me know; I don't want to leave anyone out!! I am fully devoted to this idea and I'm certain it won't fail. I do need permission though... Davideo7, if you're reading this, I cannot start without your permission with you being the site's owner, please, I won't leave again; I am here to stay! So please grant me permission to increase Vizzed's popularity and create a Discord server for it, I promise I won't fail you!! This is my idea and I pray that all members read this and are motivated to spread the word; there's no way we can let such an amazing site die like this!! I'm open to all and any ideas and suggestions, so please don't hold back!!

It's possible that's partially to blame for Vizzed's activity, since it's bringing members off-site to chat.

The site doesn't need another Discord. It just needs to find ways to retain newbies, and the best way for you to help that is by greeting newbies and making them want to be around the site.

lol. It's not a big deal. We do appreciate the enthusiasm. I can close the thread if you like, or I can leave it open for whatever reason.

legacyme3 : I don't really think the Discord server is causing a lot of people to migrate away from the site. Should it be shut down, several of the former site chat regulars would just start a new one completely independent of Vizzed. Anyone can ask for an invitation and get in, but only the regulars really show up.

I wouldn't blame the discord for the decline. Forums are a bit dated and people don't post on them as much anymore either way.
If it wasn't discord, it woulda been comet chat.
