To all of the women, Muslims, LGBT people, Hispanics, and blacks that are currently terrified because Donald Trump was elected - calm down. You're going to be fine. You are not in danger. You have been lied to.

I've read stories about people (specifically trans people) that have killed themselves because of the election results. I do not know how legitimate these stories are, but if it turns out they are true, Hillary Clinton and the left-wing media are to blame. They have spent the past year and a half making Donald Trump seem like a monster, over-exaggerating everything he says and twisting his words to make him sound like a bigot. They have instilled fear in people, when they have no reason to be scared. They are to blame for these suicides, not Donald Trump.

LGBT people - Donald Trump is not going to take away your right to marry. I have seen this rumor everywhere, with nothing to back it. Donald Trump is pro-LGBT, and even defended gay marriage against the Clintons in 2000, after Bill and Hillary fought against it during Bill's presidency. He made a speech during the primary where he said he aims to "do everything in [his] power to protect LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology." Part of the reason he wants the US to stop taking in Muslim refugees is because Islam is not tolerant of LGBT people.

Hispanics - You are not getting deported unless you are an illegal immigrant. It's actually shocking how many people don't know the difference between legal and illegal immigration. He doesn't want to ban immigration. He doesn't want to kick out all of the Mexicans. He wants to kick out all of the people that came to this country illegally. So if you are a Hispanic citizen, you have nothing to worry about. If you are an illegal immigrant, then you definitely have something to worry about, and I have no sympathy for you. He also said he wants to make it easier to immigrate to the United States legally.

Blacks - I don't even know what you guys are so worried about to be honest. I can't find a single thing Trump has said or done that could be interpreted as anti-black.

Muslims - Donald Trumps plan was never to kick out or jail the Muslims that are in this country. Even with the Muslim ban (which he has now change his mind on) that was not the case. He just wants to stop more Muslim refugees from entering the country until the world becomes more stable. This makes sense not only from a security perspective, but also from an economic perspective. So no, if you are a US citizen that follows Islam you are not in any danger.

Women - Donald Trump is not going to take away your right to vote. He isn't going to make rape legal. There are not going to be massive groups of people going around grabbing people by the you-know-where. Stop with these ridiculous claims. The only "right" that Donald Trump wants to take away is your "right" to murder your unborn child, but I highly doubt he will be able to overturn Roe v Wade, even if he does appoint conservative judges.

Stop panicking. The media is lying to you. You will be fine.

You say this... yet he picks Mike Pence for VP...

Let's get some conversion therapy up in here so torture gay people.

There's actually a pretty decent, non-zero chance that the congress moves to impeach Trump (the congress that is now totally in republican/conservative hands), since he's not as easily controlled as a typical conservative. If Trump is impeached, that makes Pence the President.

I just love the idea that a potential president, even if he doesn't do anything, is all for shocking the "gay" out of me.

We just spent the last 8 years hearing conservatives cry about their guns being taken away from them and that the end of the world was near. Yeah, if Trump were anti gay- I'd probably know about it. I'd be praising him for it, but no. . . I've heard him speak positively about gays in the past. He's not going to go after them. . .

They are afraid because they are used to the current system,that some of them abuse. They are afraid that their Obama phones,welfare,EBT (food stamps),and such will disappear. It will not disappear,it may be adjusted and changed,but not taken away. Maybe they are scared that they have to be decent citizens.

People,Trump has not even taken office yet and people are howling for blood or Clinton to replace him. Most of these protesters are not out for social change or justice,they are out to loot,pillage,destroy,harm,and be menaces to society. Let us not be blinded by their ignorance and stupidity. When Obama was elected,did white people riot in the streets? No. We did not like it,but we accepted it and worried about our own lives.

Give him at least to his first 100 days to see if you like him. And if not,we can replace him.

Funny how people NOT in the minorities Trump talked about rather poorly in his campaign are usually the ones saying the minorities have nothing to be afraid of.
