Yes many a lot when I was born. And  major ones during my childhood days of when I was a teen. It wasn't easy to deal with there was times it took me months to recover the longest one I had was up to a year....I remember the operation to do with my ear they had to take some of my ribs out. When I came out from the operation room and woke up in my ward room I felt this....immense pain I can't describe I had something attached to the left side of my stomach of where they cut up opened. I felt like a stone and couldn't do anything for myself for days, and for many weeks as well. I couldn't walk properly. I didn't think such operation would take its toll on my body....I recovered but my full recovery I say took years since I was called in not long for my second one to do.

Yes. Once, some flesh was sticking out of my ear when i was 4. They had to remove that, but i can't remember my body's reaction...

I also may or may not have had a surgery on my 3rd year too. It actually was for a virus that literally almost killed me. It's like i fell down from a high spot: My mom saved me from falling down. Because she was there for me. And that revived me. But i seriously think that i had a surgery back then...

Yes I have had five (At ages birth, 3 months, 2, 10 and 12) around the groin area. That is all I'll say as I don't want to get too technical with what the operations were for. The last two took at least a week to recover with stitches. I can see were they were placed to this day.

I can't say that I have *knocks on wood. The only thing I had was a colonoscopy so, it was my first time under anesthesia. Gosh it was the best (anesthesia) I love sleeping so I slept like a big fat Snorlax I needz more anesthesia- though it burns a little. I don't remember anything that happened; I remember being very scared at first; I did not know how I could wake up and if I was going to wake up. I am a recovering anxiety person lol and so it didn't help but, it was cake. But, in a more serious note, I have seen my mother go through a lot of surgeries; too many for hernia and I see  her now and her body has been deformed. It took a long time to get used to her depression escalating to the max from seeing herself in that way. I just stay away from surgery unless really needed.

sonicbros : yes I have had surgery three times, the first time to have my eyes corrected because back when I was born they used to role into my head the surgery happened back in my childhood days at a very young age but I don,t remember how old I was at the time I just remember my parents telling me about it,the second surgery was when I was seven years old to have my tonsils removed and the last one was about 15 years ago when I had to be treated for cellulitis I spent 10 days in the hospital before the surgery but after it was done it only took about a month or two for the cellulitis to heal in fact I remember going for my final checkup to see how it was healing and my doctor told me that he wished all his patients healed as fast as me but I think the reason why it healed so fast was probably because of my age,had I been a lot older at the time it probably would have taken longer for me to heal

I have had 2 at the same place within a few years. It's around the pilonidal (look yourself where it is ) and I've waited for so long to get it operated that I traumatized the ER doctors that saw me when the pain was so unbearable I couldn't sit down. The healing part was very long and tedious because my surgeon never told me I should take it easy on the walking and the exercise, unlike the nurses who changed my medical bandaids regularly. But now I'm good (I hope) and I hope to never have that again.

A piece of advice: if you're a cyclist try to avoid bumpy roads or you will get it too. I had a great aunt who was a nurse and she saw it often in soldiers - army cars don't have good suspension apparently.

I once had an operation on the back of my left thigh. I had an infection that worsened to the point where it was solid hard. I had to go to the hospital to get it cut and have the infection taken care of.

I was eleven years old and it was the only time I got an operation.

Two times I've gotten an ingrown toenail, resulting in very bad infections and pain. Though after the second time it happened it hasn't happened since.

I had to have surgery on my right foot when I was a baby to fix a clubbed foot, I needed stitches on my forehead when I was a toddler that caused that left a scar that's still very visible today, There were several times between middle school and high school where I had ingrown toenails, and I had one time where I cut my elbow on the edge of a door and needed stitches.

I've never had any kind of surgery I don't think, but I see myself having some done in the future. I've actually had two ingrown toenails for about 3 years now that have cycles of being fine and then getting infected, swelling and bleeding. I try to trim it up as a temporary fix, but it doesn't salve the problem.

I've never needed surgery or anything like that, and I wouldn't want to have surgery in the future either. But I may have eye surgery when my eyes don't have a change in prescription for a while to fix my vision to be 2020. Like it's supposed to ;v.

I mean, I guess the only thing remotely close to surgery I've had is getting my baby tooth removed because they wouldn't come out, but I'm not even sure if that counts.

Well, I've had surgery twice in my life.

The first time, I was very young and I had my tonsils taken out. I thought it was pretty cool because they let me have all the ice cream I wanted, just to soothe my sore throat. I also got to stay up very late and watch TV.

The second surgery I had was in 1999, when I had cardiac bypass surgery. I have no fun memories from that one, but it likely saved my life, and I've been in pretty great health ever since.

I've had a couple different surgeries through out my life time, but nothing that would really be considered all that exciting or unique, I guess.

When I was still a toddler, I had a cyst that grew nearly to the size of a golf ball on the inner side of where my eye and nose meet. It was growing out from the indentation between them, and actually got to the point where it was holding my eye shut. If I tried to open my eye, the cyst would actually be barely pressing against the eye itself, which kept me from being able to use it.
Obviously I had a surgery to remove it, and thankfully haven't had any more issues like this since.

When I was about 15, I also had another surgery to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. It wasn't any where near as bad as every one I knew made it out to be. The entire process was completely painless, and I was eating normally again within 4 and a half days of having it done. Not only that, but I was hanging out with my friends and smoking pot the very same night of the day I had it done. It was literally a cake walk. The only 2 down sides I faced were the fact my family more or less forced me to have it done 2 days before Thanksgiving ( so I wouldn't miss any school recovering on break ) and I couldn't eat any thing that we had served for the Holiday. The other down side was this was the experience that first introduced me to the bane of my existence, pain pills. I never even wanted to take them, but 3 days of not eating anything started to give me unbearable head aches, so I finally caved in to taking them, and ended up falling in love with them.

There may be one or two other extremely minor surgeries I've had in the past ( like dental work for cavities as a kid ), but nothing else really comes to mind. Like I said, this aspect of my life has been very dull.

I've only had one major operation/surgery. That was when I broke my arm when I was about 3 years old. I had a hairline fracture and they had to put a cast on it and stuff. It hurt really bad and I still remember crying against the wall holding my arm waiting for the doctor to answer my parents' phone call. I don't remember getting the cast, but I'm sure that would have been rough on me and the doctors (since they had to corral a 3 year old kid with a broken arm and put a cast on him). I've seen pictures of me with the cast and it usually makes me laugh because I look like such a diva in them.
