Music videos, in this day in age, are probably one of the most important parts of a song that get it popular in our culture (other than the song itself of course). There are some pretty crazy music videos out there, some of them are outstanding and have a big message.

My favorite, without a doubt, is Change is Everything by Son Lux. Just watch the video, it is literally amazing.

So, what's your favorite?

Barathemos : My favorite would probably be Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. It's not only my favorite song, but the music video is so cute! It's kinda weird that both of the songs we chose have "change" and "everything".

My favourite would be either Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel or Once In A Lifetime by Talking Heads. Both are among my favourite songs and they have great videos to go along with them.

Sledgehammer is very surreal and bizarre but also hypnotic. Once you start watching you have to finish. And maybe rewatch to catch that one minute detail.

Once In A Lifetime is also strange, but this one is more comprehensible than Sledgehammer. It has great imagery and a fantastic climax.

My favourite music video is 'Out Of The Woods' by Taylor Swift. I think's it's a visually beautiful video. The metaphors in the imagery are fantastic and I can literally watch this video  over and over.

There's no way I can only have one favorite music video. rofl Also, it's super difficult to list videos when half of them probably can't be mentioned according to the rules of Vizzed. x_X [For instance, it's unfortunate but some of the videos by Muse (English band) and Rammstein (German band) have some inappropriate content and show a bit more skin.] Anyways, if you're mainly talking about the visuals, then off the top of my head:

The White Stripes - Fell In Love With A Girl
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqsmG1Ab0b4

Kylie Minogue - Come Into My World
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63vqob-MljQ

a-ha - Take On Me
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djV11Xbc914

Michael Jackson - Billie Jean and Thriller (Not going to link these videos because most people have probably already seen them.)

Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit [Not going to link this one because most people have probably already seen it. I enjoyed a lot of Linkin Park's oldest songs and a few random new ones, since I used to listen to their oldest songs a lot whenever I was super stressed with writing anatomy homework and worrying about school grades... ("in the end, it doesn't even matter" lol? ), and I liked them before all the hate for Linkin Park officially began. =/ ]

Garbage - The World Is Not Enough (Yes, I am referring to the James Bond theme.)
Sia - Chandelier
Sia - Soon We'll Be Found
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1x8DMfbYN4

Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YR5ApYxkU-U

Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFFBSSntZgs

The Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpYeekQkAdc

Ayumi Hamasaki - Real Me (This is a Japanese music video. Good luck with understanding these. This singer tends to make a lot of social commentaries in her videos. If you watch anime or play some of the Tales games, you might recognize some of her songs from that and Inuyasha. It's too bad she's been going deaf in recent years.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR5lSRvr3S4

Ayumi Hamasaki - ourselves
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFI_8xYPeEk

OK Go - The Writing's On the Wall
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m86ae_e_ptU

Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjhCEhWiKXk

Jolin Tsai - The Great Artist (This is literally the only song of hers that I actually listen to... and even then, I tend to just watch this video instead. There's a reason her videos and dancing always needs to be somewhat better... if you catch my drift.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWx-vtCSg0w
(Here's the song with English subtitles, although the translations are kinda messy. They get most of the main points across though.)
https://vimeo.com/48129502

Nickelback - If Today Was Your Last Day
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrXIQQ8PeRs

Within Temptation - Memories
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhzJO34SCoc

Evanescence - Bring Me to Life ( =P Before you start laughing over this one, I watched this video before the meme took off... oO;; )

Coldplay - Viva La Vida (Anton Corbijn Version)

Yuna1000 : Take on Me was a good one and really creative. I'm not artistic, nor am I creative outside the scope of a business plan and what they came up with was awesome.

My favorite video is a bit older, since I'm older. The Prodigy did a song called "Smack my B***ch Up" back in 1997 when I was in high school. It was a high energy song, with lots of guitars, and had an English heavy metal flavor to it. It was awesome because it had anger, power, and intensity. Those are critical to the high school survival of a 16 year old in Detroit.

The video is awesome because it shows the First Person view of a person getting up, going out to a bar, drinking heavily, getting into fights, smacking people in a men's room at a club, hooking up with girls, dancing, puking, and having a nasty time on a Saturday night. They're killing it and I'm like, "Wow, that dude is out of control."

At the end, it shows the person sit up in bed, look in the mirror.... HOLY CRAP, IT'S A CHICK!

MIND BLOWN!

It was awesome and the first time anyone saw it, they were like "Wow! That's amazing. It's a total plot twist for a three minute music video."

It was awesome.

My a few favorite videos  and I'm old school so mine are from the 80's my decade. I like the Police's video wrapped around your finger. The start of the video shows sting surrounded by lots of candles. It gives the song an erie feel too it and just goes along with the song very well.

Second, I would have to say would be Separate ways by Journey. There is a lot of air guitar and keyboard playing. But it goes with the song very well.

A lot of the band Chicago's 80s songs had very good videos. Hard Habit to Break, Your the Inspiration, Look away and Take me as I am are very good.

Looking for the reason my place in this world by Michael W Smith is very good.

Easily one of these two. A friend of mine linked me these and they're just.... brilliant. Two of the greatest music videos I've seen.

My favorite is Porter Robinson & Madeon - Shelter music video.

The track is amazing the story behind the music video is meaningful, and its emotionaly beautiful.

If you love anime and melodic kind of song, i recommend you to watch this one!

I like the music video of two songs in particular... First, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Then Ol' Red by Blake Shelton... Both are still in memory, that's why they are at least close to my favs.
