We all know the sadness when our favorite TV show is finished or cancelled. And when that same show has a reboot, we tend to get happy about it. But some reboots are just terrible. In fact, most current TV shows are pretty bad no offense intended, but when a good show is rebooted into something that's not even remotely good, then it's even worse. I don't really watch TV anymore (and I'm a mod of this forum I know ironic), but I've heard about some really bad reboots.

So, in your opinion, what is the worst reboot you've seen? It can be recent or one that ran in the past- it just has to be a reboot.

I don't know if this counts, but this new Ryujin Juwara thing that's basically a reboot over Super Sentai/Power Rangers (only the latter of which I ever enjoyed). I stumbled upon it whilst researching the Shinto dragon god Ryujin, and ever since I've been terrified that I'm going to stumble upon it again.

It seems like most of cartoon networks reboots of shows seem to be a let down. I also don't watch tv much anymore especially now that i don't have cable, mostly just watch netflix now or stream whatever i'm feeling the needbto watch.
I hear tons about how to power puff girls reboot is awful but i've not seen it, same with the new dragon ball but i loved the show growing up so it was a bit painful hearing about the super saiyan god super ultra whatever. And then i saw goku's blue hair and i made me even more at a loss for what to think of it.

I've also not heard too many good thing about the fuller house.which i don't know if that's considered a reboot since it just shows them all grown up. Yet another show i haven't seen yet though so my opinion on them can always change.

I dunno, I haven't seen many reboots...in fact, I'm not sure I have seen any, except for a bit of Hawaii Five-O (the infamous in-show advertisements, but I've never watched a full episode of the show). I'm concerned about the MacGyver reboot. It seemed like in the trailer that the people behind the show were trying too hard to distance themselves from the previous show (the main character is a cocky young guy with modern hair, whereas the character of Macgyver was previously a mature, tolerant and kind older man with a mullet). I fear that the legacy of Macgyver will be tarnished by this new show.

That being said, I think one of the worst reboots (it was done twice too...) was the Twilight Zone.
The original series was great... the reboots? Meh...

I say most of the original shows that were amazing. People who decided to do a reboot of that should slap themselves...they KILLED IT BADLY. Teen titans go being one of them I remember the questions one of my siblings asked me when it came out. *Have you seen teen titans go?* And I was like *Wait excuse me what did you just say?....* *I said teen titans go.. It seems to be a reboot of the original one.* And all I can say was *Ok....* now I had to go and check this on Google and it was AWFUL. I'm extremely upset with those who can not leave a good series of a show to rest. And being it back to life only to kill it. I say the only one that is ok is dragonball super its ok. Its not the best thing but its ok. >.>

I remember back in late 2005 I got really sick during the time and I used to Stay in my bed and Watch the Original Teen titans.  It was great,  Slade was a bonified bad-bone character.
Grayson(aka) Robin was treated more seriously. you actually learned about Nightwing.The original Series also had very good looking animations for the time.
There was Serious moments, there was funny moments, and then there was depressing and wow moments(The Earth Girl Terra being a major example here)
Beast boy was hillarious and had a good personality,  same with Cyborg in that regard.
"When your in trouble you know how to call HE'S CYBORG!" He can blast a rocket out of his shoe because he's CYBORG!"  lol.
Gimzo was my favorite joke type villain too constantly giving Cyborg trouble.

The only thing I hated about the original teen titans is how they ended the series on a cliff-hanger. 

Yes, I get it the Original Teen Titans had Comedy, but it wasn't to the extent that Teen titans go went through.  Teen titans go is a disgrace, they made every character too funny to where it's unfunny to me.

Raven doesn't make sense as a funny character and yet they were willing to go with that extent.  The Daughter of the Demon-Lord Trigon should never be a joke type character.. Period.


I just can't see how Cartoon Network made the transition from Teen Titans, to teen titans go and it's still going on today -__-.

SuperCrash64 : I know right? The original was the best for me my favourite was either beast boy or starfire. But, why......why did they have to go and kill the original teen titans for a crap show reboot, that destroyed it? I just don't understand the world at times with these things. It makes sense not to bring up a very amazing series, that has been laid to rest for a good reason. But, I would think its probably because of money. You know how people are like that.....
