Yep, this past weekend, I have attended PokèCon 2016 in Columbus, Ohio (or also known as The Pokemon Nationals).
This is technically my first ever convention I have ever attended in my life time, although I was planning on attending MineCon 2013 in Orlando, FL, but I was flat broke at the time and couldn't go. But this time, I had plenty of money saved up (saved up for a year).

Ah that iconic Pikachu! Man I wish that wasn't so far and so expensive to go to or else I would have liked to go.

I attended a Pokemon event a few years when Pokemon were advertising for Pokemon Black and White. It was a free event that made me and my friends wait for around 2 hours just to get inside. We got free t-shirts of Zekrom and Reshiram, free photos to take with Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, and there were even giveaways based a raffle. I even got a chance to take pictures with Tepig and Snivy mascots! They were so cute especially by the way they moved in the costumes haha.

ghostfishy : I wasn't thinking of going at first because it being 1,000 miles away from where I live, then I was like "meh, screw it" and I went to it. Took a week off from work and saved a boatload amount of money and wanted some time away from the family, so I figure why not.

I remember you explaining this.I am a bit jealous lol but I am glad you had a lot of fun. Do you plan on going to another poke con soon? Also I really like those plushie dolls that you got they are so cute and cool as well. I loved that big pikachu balloon lol it looks so so big! Well its a good thing you took something to go, and take back home with you. ^-^

Eniitan : The experience was great, you get to talk with other people that has the similar interests you have and play some games with those people and have a chat with those people, not just that, but you try out a lot of unique things you don't see anywhere else, and buy things you can't get anywhere else.

So, conventions is a great experience, and hope to go to a future conventions.

You know, after thinking about it, after how much fun I had at PokèCon 2016, I'll attend PokèCon next year (PokèCon 2017), and I might enter in the tournament next year instead of spectating it.

Next year, I'll have 2 week vacation from work and 1 week will be vacation in Nashville, TN to see the Solar Eclipse and another week of vacation to wherever the Pokemon convention is held.
You know, after thinking about it, after how much fun I had at PokèCon 2016, I'll attend PokèCon next year (PokèCon 2017), and I might enter in the tournament next year instead of spectating it.
