So, energy drinks. There's a lot of different kinds of energy drinks. Monster, 5 Hour Energy, etc.  
  
Do you ever drink energy drinks? Do your parents let you drink them, or if you're an adult, do you drink any energy drinks? 
  
My mom doesn't let me drink any energy drinks. I understand that if you drink too much you could actually die, but I'm not stupid. I'm not going to binge drink Monster. I've only had Monster once, it was at a church trip thing and we stayed at a hotel next to the beach in South Carolina. It was amazing, I kind of miss it even though it was a Christian related thing. Anyway, on the pier they had a shop, and they happened to sell Monster energy drinks. I got some, drank it, it was amazing. I absolutely loved the taste. I got home and told my mom because I didn't know I wasn't supposed to drink it at that time, and that's when I found out I'm not supposed to drink them. I'm probably going to drink at least a little bit when I'm an adult, though.

The only energy drink that I really drink is mountain dew kickstart, but i don't have it often, just when I can maybe once a week. I love the flavor and some of them are pretty healthy as well. I can't really stand any other kinds of energy drinks, I never tried monster, and as for Red Bull, I drink it RARELY, haven't had a can in almost two whom years and I used to only have one can like every 2 to 3 months. If I had the money, I wouldn't mind drinking kickstart on a daily basis though.

I used to drink 5 hour energy's religiously, though at the time I would also be taking TONS of allergy / cold medicine at the same time. I was going for a legal speed-ball type of feel lol. It's a weird feeling to have so much energy and stress your hands are shaking, yet your mind feels like it's dragging behind. Though I've had them before for certain situations, I'm not a huge fan of energy drinks. I'm way too high strung already, and if I stay at it too long, or even too many days in a row, I start to feel like I'm going to have a heart / panic attack lol.

I used to basically abuse them for a period of time when I relied on them getting me through the day since I wasn't getting enough sleep. Coffee was never really an option because I hate both the taste and the smell of it. I mostly went with Monster since it and Red bull are the only ones available everywhere and Red bull is really expensive. I'd also end up drinking some weird obscure brands. I tried the Dr Pepper Energy Drink once before an exam because I love Dr Pepper but the flavor did not mix well at all.

So it usually meant getting at least 1 a day if I had the money to spare sometimes more though I used to try and limit myself to that amount. I started drinking them for the taste as well which I grew to like. Now I don't think I've had one for about a month or so. Stopped partly because I know it's very bad for my health due to the caffeine but also my teeth. It's not a habit I plan on picking up again if I can avoid it, but I might have the occasional odd one when I have school again and need to get through the day.

Usually I just drink water and milk to give me energy and I'm satisfied with that (I occasionally drink Powerade too) so I doubt I'll be trying any energy drinks soon. Since I have anxiety problems I think energy drinks would really mess with that and make me miserably shaky.

Won day my girlfriend brought an energy drink to my school, I wasn't allowed to drink them, or that's what I figured. So we drank it together, and it was basically just soda, but I know it's worse for you than soda.

Honestly being banned from energy drinks aren't the worst thing, I'm not sure banning your child is the worst thing but I knew some kids in my old school that professed to drinking six of the long cans a day, those things can kill you if you drink too much, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those people uh, bit the dust by now.

I use to drink them a ton, then one day I just stopped buying them, for one they were expensive, and I just started drinking other things, water, pop, etc. I drink a lot of water anyways, sometimes 5 to 6 bottles a day, but occasionally I will have a energy drink.

A small benefit considering too much of this thing in particular can kill you via energy overdose. I get my energy from living my life, no matter how non energizing it may be.

Now, I know a friend who drinks energy drinks everyday. Probably more than on at that. The Monster kind, yeah. He's always a tired soul, so he believes that drinking these drinks is something he has to do to get through the day! I guess it works for him, since he isn't dead yet.

To be completely honest I don't really drink many energy drinks for the sole reason that I'm not a big fan of how they taste, but I do drink copious amounts of coffee and eat a lot of caffeinated chocolate because I never get much sleep, which is probably because of the caffeine....
