I can confirm that this works with AdBlocker Plus. I love this idea, especially that those ads are there in order to help the site out. This site is actually the first site that I've been on that stop adblock users from doing whatever they doing unless they disable the addon. Keep it up David, I love this feature!

I hope this would not scare some users away from the site though.

other than adblock how you going to stop other 3th party software. I have an extension on Google chrome that allows me to block ads and anything spying on me. This was build from trend micro, a company that I trust:

I haven't come across any dirty ads. I only get American Express ads but anyway I agree with this move but I have never used adblock anyway so this isn't an issue for me. I hope this helps the site out in the future.

I should had posted here long ago. But anyways. As soon as I saw this I didn't say a word. I immediately went to the store brought the best one that I can by and turn off the adblock I have. Actually it has been off for a while now. Its like as if you actually still have it on in a way. But on vizzed. Its really efficient and it helps a lot. I love this new installment for the adblocker you created David.

Davideo7 : I would normally have Ad-Blocker disabled for Vizzed, but it got me to a point that I really had no other choice but to re-enable it on the site mostly because the ads screws my whole computer all up and I can't afford it, although it is foot that we can spend Viz to be able to get rid of all the ads without causing problems with Vizzed.

I just don't like ads in general. I know it benefits the site owner and the advertisers, but not a whole lot for the people coming on the site. Although you prohibiting others playing games with the ad-blocker on is great and all (other sites does this as well).

If I'm on my phone, it's tougher because it sucks my data up and I don't like that, and that is why I always have ad-blocker on my phone. On my laptop, it's no big deal.

I will buy the Adblock item, and should have bought it sooner, but I was stubborn. However, if this is a problem for others that cannot afford the item, it may lead to them leaving the site. Adblocker detected!

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
