Pretty simple, what is your least favourite sport?

This is a difficult one for me, but I'd say american football. I would choose golf but that is actually fairly fun to play.

American football is a bit mind numbing for me tbh. Sure american footballers are great athletes but the sport itself kinda bores me. (Yes for some football (soccer) is very boring, I know )

Came in here with full intentions of choosing baseball, but I had to change my vote when I saw boxing. Any professional fighting seems barbaric to me and just makes me...ugh. I hate seeing it on. Martial Arts seem less so though, not sure why. Boxing and MMA stuff is what I really have a problem with mostly.

Also Golf is my favorite, followed by Football (soccer), then Ice Hockey and Tennis. Just FYI I guess.

No offense to those who actually like it, but I can't get into cricket. I did an entire book report on it, read the rules and learned as much as I could (I don't even know why I picked cricket to do a book report on anyways. XD), and I still don't what the heck it's all about. XD

So, it's not so much as I dislike it, it seems more like, I'll never understand it, even though I did, at one point, really try. XD

Hmm...I say boxing sad enough I never got into it that well American football goes in second place after that. I tried to get into these but nothing seem to have my mind interest for these sports sadly. '-'

I went with Cricket as well. I've watched and enjoyed nearly every other sport on that list except for Cricket. I'm sure it is a good enough sport but I've never found it interesting in any way.

Other - curling. Between that or golf.

My least favorite sport is golf, I do like it but it takes waaay too long. I would like it a lot if it was quicker.

As far as watching goes I'm not really sure. Possibly Golf which I find mind numbingly boring. When it comes to playing them though (going by popular sports I've actually played) I'd probably say Basketball. For a guy my age I'm somewhat short and very skinny so I'm usually at a pretty big disadvantage whenever playing it. I'm decent at taking penalty shots but not much else. Which is why I only play it when I have to during P.E.

I regret choosing cricket as I have just thought of a sport that I really can't stand. Darts. It is pretty much watching two fat drunks throw darts at a board with a crowd that are more than likely drunk as well. It isn't a sport I can sit through without getting really bored and fed up.

I will probably have to say Tennis. I like watching people play it but it's just not my cup of tea.

Really? Again? : Cricket is a little popular over here (Holland) but I don't like it tbh.

plasticinsanity : Only reason that I like curling was because it was an okay enough game in mario and sonic on the DS.

Zlinqx : Disgrace, you slinky, disgrace. Basketball is actually my favourite to play and i'm not that big, even though I am pretty tall. I have this one kid on my team that is really small but is really good as well.

DylanMcKaig : Omg why did I not pick darts, damn it. I 100 percent agree with you. I see a lot of commercials about this one dutch guy, and another british guy constantly and it legitimately looks like they're drunk.
Bintsy : I would like to watch it, but it takes a bit too long for my liking.

imamonster : I wouldn't probably want to play it either because I'd be too impatient, once I hit the ball, I'd want to hit it again, not have to travel all the way to where it is. For that reason, I'd probably love driving ranges.

I picked other simply because "NASCAR" is (somehow) considered a sport. I would rather watch / play cricket over cars driving in a circle for hours on end.

You get where I'm going lol. At least it's funny to listen to the racer's talk before / after the races when they're hard as heck to understand. But other than that, I can't find the slightest inkling of joy in NASCAR. Watching grass grow and / or paint dry is more fun for me...

It's not the worst thing to watch since there is typically a fair amount of action, but I was never big into ice skating so I chose ice hockey since it's not something I'd be particularly interested in playing.

I hate baseball. It's so boring and there's no action at all. By far the worst sport ever. I'd rather watch paint dry than this rubbish. The main exercise in baseball is the periodic jog from the dugout to the field and vice versa. 

I thought about saying something like soccer or cricket, but in the end, I realized that there's one sport out there that happens to be completely fake and has absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever. That happens to be the WWE. They call it wrestling, I call it the biggest waste of time due to how fake it is. It's all completely staged. Anything wrestling related I'd consider to be the worst, but I had to specifically talk about the WWE since there's an official WWE  discussion thread in the sports forum.

gamerforlifeforever2 : it's not a sport. It's entertainment. And your definition of fake isn't the same as everyone's. The results are planned but they have been since the beginning. You're supposed to suspend your disbelief (kind of like watching a movie) when you watch pro wrestling. It's like watching any other TV show or movie.

I know I will get a ton of hate for this and on two fronts. The actual name and the people that love the sport. I dislike soccer. It is so freaking boring,you kick a ball downfield into a giant net. I like wrestling and MMA. To Gamerforlifeforever2: Yes it is all staged,but there is a beauty and power behind it all. Think of it,would you not love to do a chokeslam or a hurricarana or a armbar to someone you seriously hated?

I am a big wrestling fan. But it is in essence not a sport, it is entertainment live entertainment.

Sure it is staged. but its like every movie and tv show.


Oldschool777 : Well, I don't really agree with that. There is a lot more to football than that. If you're really in to it you'll see the strategy, the playing styles, etc. But to each their own, I can understand if you find it boring.
