I was just looking back on the good ol' days when games were still around for the ps2, gamecube, and xbox. I remember having some pretty good times playing 'em.

Some of my favorite were soul calibur 2 and 3, xenosaga, final fantasy XII, dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi, yugioh dawn of destiny, super smash bros, pokemon xd gale of darkness, and guilty gear.

Oldschool777 : You played disgaea 2 before? How was your experience playing it? I mean, with the gameplay, story, etc. Sorry for the sudden question. It's just that this is the first I've seen anyone mention it on here, and curious to know from your perspective.

The PS2 is probably my favourite console of all time, so that means I have a LOT of favourites.

I won't pick my favourite just one of my favourites as picking just my favourites is way too difficult.

One of my favourite PS2  games is DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, my favourite fighting, and licensed game of all time, need I say more.
One of my favourite GameCube games would be another licensed game, The Simpsons  hit and run, The gameplay is good, the story is completely ridicilous, and you get to explore springfield!

Now I never had an xbox, but I'd probably say crash nitro kart, very fun racing game.

It's cool. The series is kinda obscure so I will answer how I can.

It is a strategy/RPG and the humor is pretty funny. There are also wacky descriptions of the items you can equip. You can recruit humans and monsters to fight with you. The maps you will have to rotate,a la Final Fantasy Tactics and you do have stage hazards like you cannot use a ranged attack,or the enemies get a power boost,or the enemies level up every turn. But all of them can be defeated by destroying the pyramid that grants that power.

The story starts with your foster mother summoning a demon so the story's hero can defeat it to lift the curse on the world. When the demon comes through,it is not who they expect and you must reunite them so you can face the true demon. But you will love the twist at the end,I won't ruin that for you.

The graphics are good and you will like the soundtrack if you like J pop. Check out Disgaea 2 on YouTube for more and look for Kurtis and Axel's tracks on there as well.

Ah the PS2...the pinnacle of gaming(aside from the N64, all hail the might 64). I'd have to say some of my favorites are the old Ratchet and clanks, DMC3E(das right I gots the special one) and final fantasy X and X-2(even though I still have yet to beat them......F**K you Seymour)

Oh boy. I have so many memories of playing all of these games as a kid. Some of the games(the Xbox ones specifically) on this list are only on here for nostalgia purposes because I loved them a lot when I played, but if I were to play now I don't think I'd enjoy them as much.

Oldschool777 : I agree. The series is kinda one of those games that are actually very good, and at least worth getting it a shot, but are unknown due to the lack of popularity towards it. I haven't came across anyone who has even heard of it before. Until now, that it. It shocked me a bit to hear the mention of it. Well, I've played most of the disgaea games, but never really had a chance to compete the main story and post game of the second. I managed to make it to the part where you faced axel for the final time, And I must say I was totally caught off guard by his white tiger theme. Thanks for the info, man.

Not a problem. If you get a cell phone in the game,you may be able to summon Axel or Kurtis to help you. It never had the impact that Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest had. Add to it that most never heard of the publisher NIS and you have obscurity. Which is a shame because the series is awesome. I only heard of it though a gaming magazine and I thought it was worth a shot.

Fun Fact about Dragon Quest. The Japanese government have asked Enix to release the games on a weekend to avoid kids skipping school to buy it.

This is no doubt my favorite generation of consoles when it comes to video gaming despite the fact I never owned a original Xbox.
