If this is happening its most likely going to be awful. Both video game and anime live action movies have a history of being crap, and I really see no reason why this would be different, especially with a western studio.

I can only imagine this will be horrible. As others have stated before me, the people who create these movies aren't actual fans of the source material and don't do it justice. Even with a studio with a great track record behind it doesn't mean they will present this type of project well. History is extremely biased against them, although that being said, I am rooting for them to pull it off at least. If it can be done, it would be awesome to have a good live action Pokémon movie. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, as they say...

I want this movie to be EXACTLY a live action version of any of the existing Pokémon movies. But directed by J.J Abrams, and starring Danny DeVito, Adam Sandler, and Tommy Wiseu. (As Pikachu, Ash, and Brock respectively).

Realistically, I want this to be a good movie. Pokémon is awesome. But has always had this negative light shown on it by the media. I would really like that to change. Although I know for a fact that this will be directed by a hack who doesn't know or like Pokémon, and the writers will shove in unwanted political messages, unfunny jokes, and make it more of a "guy meets girl romantic comedy that just so happens to have Pokémon" movie.

I dunno how I would feel about a live action pokemon to be honest. It could be cool as long as everything is done right. As in have the right people play and look as the characters. And not just get random people who wouldn't do the job properly. That's the thing nowadays most live action they come out rubbish. Now lets take one for an example and at best. The bidding for the rights were supposed to have ended a really long time, ago, so who knows what's going on with production. it's been like 2 months now and normally a bud such as this should take like 2 weeks at the most, so maybe there's some sort of a delay or some problem with production, so who knows.

I can't say I'm very interested over a live action Pokemon movie.

I love Pokemon, but I cannot see this going well. Just because of the image of some of the pokemon coming to life.

I can only see it being butchered and I do not even like Pokemon. Most of the time,when a video game goes to live action movie,it is going to suck. The only exception I can think of was the first Mortal Kombat movie. I am only assuming this is due to Pokemon GO.
