m0ssb3rg935 :

Hello my fellow Tennessean. Colorado averages 34 tornadoes per year. Tornadoes do occur in mountains. The record is 10,000 feet in elevation. Cheyenne Wyoming, Eastern Denver, and Colorado springs get there share of tornadoes. I'm in east TN and despite out hills we are prone to them especially the Southeastern part of East TN. Notable tornado outbreaks in my area of Tennessee include, April 1994 outbreak, May 1995 outbreak, Easter 1997 outbreak, April 16th Nashville outbreak of 1998, Outbreak of May 7th 1998. Veterans Day tornado outbreak November 10th 2002. Super Tuesday 2008 outbreak, October 26th 2010 tornado outbreak. Super Outbreak II April 27th 2011, March 2nd 2012 outbreak, and recently April 28th 2014 tornado outbreak.

tornadocam : Wow.... I've been alive for a majority of those and knew nothing of them. I mean, a few ring a bell.... Of course, I didn't really pay much attention to the weather as a younger kid and we haven't really had TV since about '09. We moved west fron Nashville in august of 2010 to a little town about 3 counties over. Almost all of the really bad almost invariably splits and slams Bon Aqua or southern Kentucky. And when it doesn't, we just kinduh hide under the kitchen table when the sirens sound.   : /

The strangest thing I ever saw was when I watched our local news(Dallas). The weatheman said it was 93 degrees in Winnipeg, Canada, while it was only 82 degrees down here. I posted about that on one of my threads. But since Alaska has had 90 degree weather, it didn't really surprise me. It was more of a shock than anything. I'm just not used to seeing that, but I gotta admit, it's happening more often than it used to.

Well one time it snowed in the summer and that was really strange. I mean like really things like that should only happen in the winter. We even had the hottest month which was Oct going to Nov. And it should had been like cold by then. I can't remember others sadly. But I remember more of how it snowed in London during the summer its the one thing I will never ever forget. @.@

I remember last year, it was June or July and we had some freak snowstorm come in for a whole day. I was outside, shoveling about 3 feet of snow from my driveway for a while. Eventually, all the white snow started to look pink to me, it was kind of pretty, but also probably not good for my eyes. XD

And that wasn't the first time something like that has happened in my area. Crazy weather. XD

Well one time there was an ice storm but I don't think it was "weird" per se because of the fact that it was winter. Still, it wasn't very often we had them. Other than that I don't think there was anything weird. That and whatever m0ss saw since we're bros.

I would say how it's usually warm in winter but I live in Miami so that's pretty normal. I guess the weirdest thing that happens here is that often times it can rain even though there aren't any clouds in the sky which I honestly find more amusing than anything.

One time, I think it's called a cloudburst, which I learned from a certain anime that you all may or may not have watched, the sun was shining but it started to rain, and I thought that was really cool, because there was a rainbow in the rain before it stopped and for a little bit after, and there was actually thunder in the distance because we had a storm coming from not too far away.

Now, the most miserable weather I've ever experienced was freezing rain when it was probably thirty five degrees, and I had to stand in it for about an hour and a half since we were playing a football game. We had sideline jackets, but I wanted to make the rest of my team look wimpy so I didn't actually wear one.

Oh yes, it was really hot this winter, global warming has started showing its effects.
-and the problem is, in my home country, Morocco there we summer and winter in one day, freezing in the mornings and evenings and super hot during the day. Which is really hard to deal with when choosing what to where.

$$$$ :   I live here in Texas, and several years ago, it snowed in April.  By then it is in the eighties to nineties already, so that was pretty bizarre.  We have been getting so much rain here in this past month, that it has flooded many major streets, and fish have been seen swimming down the road...lol.  I have always wanted to see a tornado in person, and it's come pretty close, but neither touched down, so that was a bummer.  I've seen multi colored lightning in the clouds here before, ranging from yellow to blue, red and purple, all in the same night.  It looked like a UFO was above us because there was a severe lack of thunder.

I remember driving through Arizona when they were having wildfires and seeing the whole sky lit up. There was a huge pillar of smoke that hung over the horizon like a curtain and it was dark on top and bright on the bottom because it was reflecting the flames. That was in, say, 2010 or so.

Arizona and the other deserts are cool to drive through because it's all flat and then, BOOM, there's this chunk of rock sitting there. To see that kind of landscape, alien to start with, and follow it up with massive fires and seeing them from a long distance was just mesmerizing. We didn't stay long even though we weren't in danger

Well this is probably not saying much since I live in Sweden (Natural disasters pretty much never happen here). The outright weirdest weather I've seen was probably once when it started snowing while the sun was out during spring. Other than that the weirdest weather I remember was when it started to hail ice the size of golf balls during summer.

Despite what this might make it seem like however the part of Sweden I live in the weather is actually pretty average (southernmost part) meaning decently warm most of the year outside of winter. It gets more cold further up north, that's where you can see some really interesting weather changes happen.

Just this May it snowed in several parts of the city. Where I live, it hailed for a few minutes and the pellets were almost as large as golf balls.

Right now it's almost 40 degrees Celsius outside (almost 100 F). We have hot summers but it hasn't been this hot in years.

I always thought tornadoes in December were impossible in the upper midwest but it turns out I was wrong when a few happened on December 23rd 2015 (And I guess they're not unprecedented either) Temps were in the 50's and 60's for almost the entire month (More so than past Decembers) with lows and dew points even reaching the 60's which is unprecedented. I have witnessed thunder rain with temps in the 30's as well. Heck, there was a day where temps were in the 30's with thunder rain then that same day we got thunder snow (And the temps hadn't budged all day meaning the same 30 degree temps that produced the thunder rain also produced the thunder snow)

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
