I recently bought Dino Crisis 2 and Dark Cloud 2 (the PS2 to PS4 one with trophies etc) on PSN. I got Dino Crisis 2 because it's one of my all time favorites, and I can now play it on my PS Vita or PSTV? How could I turn that down? Being able to play it on the go was appealing enough, but after netting the PSTV, it was too good to pass up. And for those who don't know the PSTV essentially turns your PS Vita into a handheld/console hybrid by allowing you to play many Vita games on your Television, but also allows you to play games from just about every PlayStation system.

But back to Dino Crisis 2: despite being a sequel to a survival horror game, it's actually an action/shooter with excellent controls that are similar to the classic RE games. Definitely recommend it, and it's on PSN for $1.80 right now, or $1.20 for PS+ members.

Dark Cloud 2 is...I really don't know because my internet is so slow that I'm still downloading it two days later. The download should be finished by Sunday, and no I'm not joking, it will take until Sunday. Lol That's what happens when you download games on your PS4 from a mobile phone's hotspot, but hey, a few months ago I didn't even have that, so I'm not complaining. Anyway the game is an Action RPG.

Before that I bought Harvest Moon: Back To Nature, another PSX classic like Dino Crisis 2, but without guns, blood, gore, and dinos. Best Harvest Moon ever in my opinion. Also recommend picking it up, as it's only $5.99 if memory serves. And being able to play BTN on the go from a Vita is an amazing experience. I think it's also available on PS3 and PSP.

So that's my list. What games have you downloaded recently? And remember, this is about digital downloads (like there's any other kind of download), not physical copies. I plan to make a thread for that later, just as soon as I scoop some up.

But yeah, what were some of the last games you downloaded? What system were they for? What are they like? Do you recommend them? Do you feel like you're playing twenty questions? Good.

Well, now I feel bad for complaining about my slow internet... Current speedtest says 9.63 MBPS download and 11.51 MBPS upload, which is about 15 MBPS slower on the download than normal. Probably the rain we're getting.

Most recently, I suppose I re-downloaded League of Legends. I have to admit, I'm slightly addicted to the game. It's for the PC, free to win (o.o), and is basically 5v5 with thousands of customization options and over 120 different champions to play as.

I've gotten games since then, via steam, but I haven't downloaded them. Excluding LoL, it'd be FIFA 15 (which I haven't played yet) or Elder Scrolls: Tamriel Unlimited (Imperial Edition) which I also haven't played yet.

On a really good day, I get a little over 100 KB/s download. 9.63 MB/s download is ludicrous speed by comparison. Last game I downloaded was Brawlhalla on Steam, which is basically a free, early access smash knockoff. I haven't played it yet, but it took me well over a half hour to download 152 MB.

Eirinn : Does the RGR count?

If it does, I had to redownload the Samurai Pizza Cats ROM because I removed it from my vizzed folder to use in an off-site emulator and yadda yadda yadda

If not then the last game I downloaded was Suguri, I got it on steam thanks to vanelan so I played it and it's a pretty neat bullet-hell shooter with guns and like guns and stuff

It's not for everyone.

mrfe : Free to wins are a rare species of f2p. o__o Also let me know how FIFA 15 is after you try it. I used to be a big FIFA fan and am interested in trying the series again. I lover the sport, and I refuse to touch PES or any other Konami game, so I'm hoping EA actually manages to pull through and not botch it like they did Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.

And yeah, I run between 30 and 50kbps usually, with rare bursts up to as much as 110.

m0ssb3rg935 : You sound like you run about the same speed I do. Highest I've clocked was 118 kbps download, and that was only once. I usually stay closer to 30. But hey, we get our games still, right? Lol

So was that game any good? How does it compare to Smash?

Eirinn : It's actually really fun. It's intuitive, well made and even my overpriced, electronic paperweight posing as a computer under than name Toshiba can run it at a full 60fps. It's the ONLY game I can do that with. Only complaint is that it's just a little weird playing with a keyboard. I don't know if supports controllers, but if it doesn't, I have Xpadder. Bare in mind that it's still early access though. It's not really rich in features. I think it has a lot of potential and, once I get a good handle on it, I would like to go head to head with some people. This could even be used for some user hosted tournaments here on Vizzed.

Um...my brother does the downloading but not me for his ps3. I can't remember what he downloaded sadly but I do know it was some games I wouldn't play....the only game he downloaded before that I took interest was oddworld strangers wrath. That game was made from the makers who also made abes oddysee and stuff. The game is really fun to play and is funny as well so I do recommend you trying it out if it is on the ps4.

also eirinn you should had downloaded um dark cloud not the second one. I can't remember if you told me that you have played the first one. @.@

KPE :

I'm afraid advertising links like this is not allowed...I think. I could be wrong. :p

The last game I downloaded was Sonic CD on Steam. I like it much better than the original Sonic CD. That's how your opinion should be if it's a remake of a past game. Unless that remake is Sonic - Genesis for the Game Boy Advance....

The last game I downloaded was Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. I got it not too long ago because I wanted to play the originals without having to get them separately.

Eirinn : It's hard to answer the fifa thing because well it depends how you play.... I've got the Xbone version and the graphics are obviously pretty good... If your solely playing single player then the AI is also a lot harder than it used to be... with them being more likely to score whenever given a chance on the highest difficulty. I'd say the game is also focused more on being able to defend and pass the ball better as players are far better at interceptions now... Also free kicks seem easier to score and corners seem harder to score lol... But yeah.. honestly.. it all depends on the player...

As to answer the question the last game i downloaded on my xbone was Dragon age Inquisition as for steam i believe it was... Punch Club..which i suggest nobody gets...

The very last one was Gran Turismo 6, for my now ditched PS3. I've just recently acquired my PS4, but I will have to look closely for any downloadable content I may be interested in, probably some of those PS2 games that have been made into PS4. I guarantee nothing, though.

Last game I downloaded was Soul Sacrifice Delta for my Vita. I can't remember how long it took me though. I wanna say an hour, maybe an hour and a half at max? For a game with so much content, it's not a very big game download wise.

This is probably kind of cheating but the last games I downloaded were Grim Fandango Remastered and Hardware Rivals as part of the ps+ monthly games promotion. Which is cool because I was actually interested in getting Grim Fandango because of all the praise it's gotten, and Hardware Rivals gameplay reminds me slightly of the Twisted Metal games which I really enjoyed.

Now if you want a real answer, it's probably Undertale though it was long while ago since I downloaded it now. Got it because of how everyone on vizzed seemed to talk about it, I still find it slightly overrated but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

yoshirulez! : Sounds like a good game, I love those. Like Helldivers for example.

As for RGR downloads, I didn't really mean ROMs actually, but I suppose they technically are downloads.

Eniitan : I actually wanted the first one more, but the second one was on sale and that was the only reason I could afford it as I only had $12 left in my PSN wallet. The first one appeals to me more, but I'll take Action RPGs when I can get them. Lol

Tyrian Delirium : Thanks for answering that for me. I can handle any technical changes just as long as they don't spoof the game in some classic EA way. "Let's break this part so they have to pay for microtransactions to enjoy the game" meh.

EX Palen : The only other PS2 games I plan on getting currently are Dark Cloud and Mark of Kri. I was pretty excited to see Mark of Kri pop up on the list. I have it for my PS2, but being the trophy nerd I am I can't resist the chance to play through a good game all over again with trophy support.

SeveredGodGear : How does Dark Cloud 2 compare to the first one? I honestly wanted the first one, but only having $12 in my wallet I couldn't afford the first one, so I grabbed the second one on sale. I fully intend to get the first one later though.

Juliaisme123 : A Vita? For that alone you earn the seal of awesomeness. Lol Also isn't Soul Sacrifice Delta a Monster Hunter game? And I mean the genre (because apparently Monster Hunter Genre is a thing now), not a game from the actual Monster Hunter series. Kind of like Freedom Wars.

Zlinqx : Cheater. I was actually wondering if anyone would pop in here and list a PS+ game. Lol And that counts since it's a download. I have those in my download list, but haven't downloaded them yet because of connection speeds. I don't even know what Grim Fandango is, genre wise. And how is Hardware Rivals now that the new patch is out fixing the speed and damage issues? As for Undertale...I don't like it, just because I'm sick of all the hype. Not fair of me since I've never even played it... Lol But judging it based on how it's been described to me, it doesn't appeal to me.

Eirinn : Unfortunately I never played Dark Cloud 2. I could never find it as a ps2 title and I don't have a ps3.
If I were really worried about it, I could get an emulator sometime. Is that something people find immoral? I don't think the game designers get paid for redesigns or ports.

Eirinn : Yeah, I buy physical copies mostly when it comes to game unless I'm buying something on steam which is rare or it's a PSN exclusive. I'd say Grim Fandango is kind of like those old school click adventure games, think like king's quest and secret of monkey island or a more recent example, Broken Age. If you've ever played any of those. Though that's only as far as gameplay goes. I happen to like those games a lot and many hail Grim Fandango as one of the best, it's a pretty funny game if you can look past the obviously dated graphics which I still kind of like. I've only tried a little bit of Hardware Rivals but so far it's pretty cool, the controls can be kind of fiddly from my experience though.

Undertake... The Undertaker, the video game? I had to But yeah I found it enjoyable just overhyped, I still enjoy it but I can understand how people seemingly not being able to shut up about could ruin it for you, I would recommend trying it at some point though because it is a good game.

SeveredGodGear : I'm assuming the companies that made the games still get a cut, but the actual developers that made them but no longer work there probably get nothing. And that's fair I think.

As for emulators, well this site is based on it so you're usually good with most people here when you mention it. I don't emulate anymore, but that's just me. If I were going to do that though, I would just drop a few dollars on it and get a physical copy for my PS2 collection. I only got the digital version because of the improved graphics and the trophy support.

Zlinqx : Aw you caught my typo before I fixed it. I promise man it's this dumb autocorrect, it messes up half of the game titles that I type unless I stop it. xD Undertake, Little Memo, insert game name here, ugh.

I love a good point and click and I thought Broken Age was excellent, though I didn't care for some of the hoops the trophy hunter has to jump through, especially finishing the game in less than an hour...but the game was great! If Grim Fandango is half as good, I'll be happy with it.

Oh and I don't like digital buys either, and like you, I only do so if it's digital only or free. I do plan to drop about $20-$30 on the Indie flash sale this weekend though. There are some awesome deals in that sale. Check it out if you haven't yet.
