The dinner table is usually where a lot of the best family fights have happened.

I remember one time after my sister went to college that my parents and brothers and I were all having dinner and all the boys started making fart noises and my mom just started crying and got up and left. Apparently she was upset about my sister being at college and all the boys making farting noises was upsetting her. I didn't really get it then but now that I'm married and have kids of my own I can see why she would be upset. It was pretty funny to me at the time though.

My family doesn't sit together at the dinner table much anymore. Usually the adults sit in the living room to eat while the children sit at the dining room at the dinner table. I don't like this setup because without my parents present at the dinner table, my younger brother gets away with acting horrible way too frequently. Other than that, there haven't been many instances of weird conversation or actions at the dinner table. 

One thing I dislike at the table is when people are on their phones or taking pictures of their food with. This is usually more common at restaurants than anywhere else (but I wouldn't put it past anyone to do it at home as well). Eating at a restaurant is or eating with your family is meant to be just that, time with your family, yet so many people find it more interesting to share their lives with people they don't even know rather than spend it with their family. It's sad really, and I definitely think that technology at family oriented events really drives a stake in the family dynamic. It's okay to be on your phone using social media or whatever for the other 23+ hours of the day, but at least save dinner time as a time for family togetherness or at least enjoying your meal at the very least....

The dinner table hasn't really been something that's consistent enough for me to sit around and here crazy things. Usually my GF and I eat on the couch, or even if we do eat at the table (which we do from time to time) Usually we just talk about our day or something like that. Not usually anything that ground breaking.

My day is usually like Jordan's, but today I heard that a kitten was found on a conveyor belt at a recycling factory! :V
Fortunately, it didn't end in tragedy and the kitten was found by a worker and rescued. :3

I very rarely eat dinner at the dinner table unless it's some special occasion (like Christmas) and not even then always. Most of my family don't either including my mom, maybe that's just more common here in Sweden but yeah, I typically eat in front of the TV or my computer while sitting at the couch and have done so ever since I was little.

The only times I regularly eat at the dinner table is when staying at my grandma and grandpa's place which has been long time since I last did and even then from what I can remember those times that I have it was mostly just making small talk, talking about the day or things that happened recently.

My family isn't very closed so we've never really ate together. Mostly everyone eats separate and goes about their day. However, we have had crazy conversations while in the kitchen preparing food; somehow it always ends up on one of my brother's girlfriends and gets too TMI so it kind of ruins it for everyone lol. My mom usually talks about her youth and how cool she was when she lived in Russia and then somehow it ends on her TMI topics that mothers love to make you uncomfortable about. So yeah, not having dinner table is not so bad in my family lol.
